Campus Ministry Freshman retreat - October 11-12 All freshmen participate in this overnight retreat at Higher Ground Retreat and Conference Center in West Harrison, IN at the end of their first quarter at Moeller. Students hear from our principal on what it means to be a Man of Moeller, and senior leaders from their houses lead the freshmen through fun activities, small groups, and the freshman Crusader Games competition. Sophomore retreat Sophomores go on retreat with peers from their house, facilitated by junior and senior leaders, along with their house dean and counselor. Spiritus (Junior retreat) The junior-year Spiritus retreat is a two-day overnight retreat facilitated by college students and recent college graduates at the Bergamo Center, a Marianist retreat facility in Dayton, OH. On this retreat, students reflect on the ways God has impacted them and people around them through immersive prayer experiences and large group activities as well as small group conversation and talks.

Service Hour Requirements:

Serving our neighbors in need is a fundamental element of a Catholic, Marianist education. Just as we require students to grow in knowledge through graded academic work, we require all Moeller graduates to have completed 65 total hours of service in the community. Details on service hour requirements are available in the student handbook. Our community service requirement is to be completed in the following increments each year: Freshmen, sophomores, juniors: 10 hours each year at school, at church, or in the community Your student will be required to enter service hours on X2VOL. Freshmen will be given instruction on how to do this in Freshmen Foundations. Transfer students will be instructed by Campus Ministry. Morning Prayer Each morning, prayer is said in the Holy Family Chapel. The schedule will be available in August.

Quick Tip: SAGE is 100% nut-free. You can use the app to select meals if your son has any dietary restrictions. If you have any questions, contact Amy Stull at astull@moeller.org

Amy Stull is a Cincinnati native, trained chef and manager whose love of cooking began when she was just 14 years old. Before her culinary career began, Amy served in the Army’s 101st Airborne Division, 326 Engineer Battalion. First as a general construction equipment operator, then as a nuclear biological and chemical specialist on air assault status. Upon returning to civilian life, she enrolled in the Florida Culinary Institute in Palm Beach. After graduation, she began working in a fine dining restaurant beginning as a prep cook and making her way to sous chef in just four years, all while fine tuning her catering skills. In 2007, after returning to Cincinnati with her daughter, Amy worked to learn many different sides of the food service industry. She worked as both executive chef and general manager in corporate dining, catering, territory sales manager for US Foods, and manager for a nonprofit food incubator kitchen for entrepreneurs. Most recently, she managed dining departments in residences housing the most vulnerable populations – keeping them safe and healthy. Amy joins SAGE and the Moeller Family with a love of food and a desire to share this passion for healthy, scratch, small-batch food each day.

The Front Office Trifecta

Being in education and working with students give me the opportunity to learn something new every single day. I enjoy seeing things through the eyes of our students and sharing my experience with them as well. Moeller is a special place with a family-like atmosphere. We look after each other and work together to ensure we’re all working hard and achieving our goals.

Mr. Carl Kremer Principal

“ Dean of Academics

Dr. Christine Brookbank

I am a lifelong learner. While pursuing my doctorate in education, I enjoyed collaborating with educators and thought leaders from across the globe. Here at Moeller, we are blessed with innovative, passionate teachers. I look forward to collaborating with them to promote a 21st century learning environment for our students.

As dean of student life, I will be working to help every student to be as successful as possible. All research indicates that students do better academically and are less likely to get into trouble when they are happy at school and feel accepted. Through our House System, extracurricular activities and campus ministry programming, we seek to prevent disciplinary issues before they start by being proactive in getting our students involved.
