•with a 5-11-1 season last year, Moeller's new head soccer coach Randy Hu;rley is proud that his team has gone 5-0 during its pre-season. "The soccer program has struggled .for three· or four years ... we haven't had. a winlling season in (a while)," he explained. Hurley has been coaching soccer since 1975. He was an assistant coach at Lakota High School from 1983 to 1986Then he spent last year at Mason High School as head coach. Additionally, Hurley is a district coach for the Olympic Development Program. •·we have a real hard working bunch of kids. This team has worked harder than any team I've ever coached.~· . . Senior midfielders Brian Bonham and Shawn Pierce, sophomore midf1elder Scott Schaepher, and stopper Dave Guller, senior, are among the Crusaders' strong team members. Junior Mike McMillan, goal 1keeper,-has transferred from Sycamore to Moeller.. "He's made a big difference already,"' Hurley said. "We have the potential to have a winning season, and to have a top ten program (in the city)."--
