Embraced by the Red River Delta in the North and the Mekong Delta in the South are narrow deltas series along the central coastline. In these deltas, towns have coated themselves with vibrant and modern urban colors while retaining the traditional culture that has accreted over four thousand years of history. Ha Noi, the capital of a thousand-year-old culture is the political-administrative center of Viet Nam. Hue, the ancient capital of Imperial Viet Nam and home to a number of tangible and intangible cultural values. Hoi An is an old town unique to Viet Nam and rare in the world, where architecture and urban lifestyle are exceptionally well-preserved. Da Nang, a coastal city and major economic center of the country, is acknowledged as Viet Nam’s best city to live and a smart city of the region. Ho Chi Minh City, the largest economic and cultural center of Viet Nam, an important transportation junction of Southeast Asia, is well-known for its dynamism, modernity, young entrepreneurship and startup spirit, a place where different cultures come together. 55

The Vietnamese people are hardworking, creative workers and diligent learners. They constitute the important building block of national development. Three decades since the launch of Doi Moi (Reform), Viet Nam has recorded outstanding achievements with relatively high and steady growth rate, robust trade and rapid transformation of economic structure with which the industrial and services sectors have now accounted for over 80% of the GDP. Flourishing market economy has enabled Viet Nam to advance steadily on the path of industrialization, modernization and extensive international integration.
