Youth Services Directory Flip me over to have a read of The Mix Annual
We know we might have missed you, we’re sorry. It’s only the first edition ... If you’d like to be featured in the next one, get in touch!
If you, or someone you know is in urgent need of help, go to the next page
Hello and welcome! Welcome to the 1st Edition of the Closing the Gaps Youth Work Directory (Mid Suffolk edition). It’s amazing how many organisations there are across Mid Suffolk, working to support young people. We learn about new ones almost every week. So we thought we would let you know about them too, in case you or someone you know needs or wants something. If you know of any groups, opportunities or organisations that we have missed, please let us know and we’ll make sure they are in the next edition. For those of you who are wondering why we printed this when things go out of date so quickly - admit it, some of you were thinking it. It’s because that’s what youth workers have asked for. Many of the volunteer and paid youth workers across Suffolk don’t have access to Wi-Fi or 3G when they are supporting young people, and so they asked for a paper copy they can keep with them at all times. They also wanted some they could give to young people who don’t always have enough data to find the info they need online. If you want to know more about the Closing the Gaps project, head over to www.closingthegaps.co.uk (when you have Wi-Fi or 3G, of course)
If your need is urgent or serious... 999- Available 24/7 101 is the number to call when you want to contact your local police in England, Wales, Scotland or Northern Ireland - when it’s less urgent than a 999 call. You should always call 999 when it is an emergency, such as when a crime is in progress, someone suspected of a crime is nearby, when there is danger to life or when violence is being used or threatened.
