Education News Grange School Residential trip to Delamere
Abbey Gate College leads and encourages children to fulfil their potential in every aspect of their lives
It was with great excitement that the Year 3 children at The Grange School in Hartford headed off for a residential trip to Fox Howl in the beautiful Delamere Forest. Whilst exploring the forest the children waded through brooks, clambered up hills and scrambled down gullies – a few wellies went astray but this only led to more laughter! Mrs Pidcock who is the school’s Head of Outdoor Learning said, “During their stay at Fox Howl the children showed their ability to work as a team and participated with great enthusiasm. For the majority, this was their first overnight stay away from home and they coped well, relishing their time in the forest.” W: www.grange.org.uk

We wanted our daughter to be part of an environment where she could flourish with confidence, independence and ultimately be the best she could be.’ Year 3 parent.
