JAN. 18-22:

Toruk—The First Flight

The worlds of fantasy and acrobatics come together when “Toruk—The First Flight” heads to the T-Mobile Arena with its touring show. The 37th production from Cirque du Soleil taps James Cameron’s “Avatar” as an inspiration, only instead of taking place in the mid-22nd century, shows “Toruk” thousands of years before the science fiction fantasy film version takes place, long before humans came to colonize the moon Pandora. This marks the first time that Cirque du Soleil partnered with an outside creative group to produce a show.

[WHERE INSIDE]

Las Vegas Your Way

Adventure Lover

Relaxation Seeker

Luxury

Las Vegas' newest adrenaline-inducing attraction, (1) Speed Vegas at Las Vegas Motor Speedway allows drivers to get behind the wheel of exotic supercars and try their hand at thrilling muscle-car driving experiences. You've never experienced such a heady rush as jumping out of an airplane and plummeting toward Earth at 120 mph; the experts at (2) Skydive Las Vegas will allay all of your fears. You'll get a look at the entire Las Vegas valley before pulling the chute and peacefully floating back to solid ground. For Las Vegas' tallest thrill rides, a trip up the (3) Stratosphere Tower is in order. Among your choices here are the inverted centrifuge that is Insanity (pictured); X-Scream, a giant seesaw thatliterally takes you off the edge of the tower; and Big Shot, 4Gs of fun.

When Las Vegas runs you ragged, we've got the perfect remedy! Say hello to Sundays at (1) Palazzo's Azure pool, where you can undertake a 50-minute basic yoga session, then indulge in a mimosa—Azure's been called a "country club meets day club." When you're downtown, don't miss one of the most luxurious options around—a (2) 24-carat gold treatment at the Golden Nugget Spa. Slip into facial nirvana at this newly renovated spa. Temps getting you down? Don't worry, you can stay as cool as an icicle if you desire— visit the (3) Arctic Ice Room at Qua at Caesars Palace. This is an amenity for the summer if there ever was one! Be one with the snow that fallsgently from the ceiling; you can also keep your chill with a cold plunge in the Roman baths—get the maximum impact!

Sit back and enjoy the sophistication! When you partake in (1) Afternoon Tea at the Mandarin Oriental, you'll witness dazzling views of the Strip from the 23rd floor of this luxurious resort. The tranquil Tea Lounge is the perfect zen-zone; in addition to the finest teas from around the world, you can indulge in coffee, cocktails, English scones, cupcakes and macarons. When it's time for dinner, you couldn't get any more exquisite than (2) Joël Robuchon at MGM Grand, a private mansion with tastings of nine or 16 courses. The bread cart alone is intimidating! The world's first (3) Nobu Hotel affords all the privileges that go with the Nobu name—this impressive hotel within a hotel (Caesars Palace) has received accolodes from CNN Traveler, Luxury Travel Advisor and Condé Nast Traveler.
