Train “Play That Song“ Tour
“Drops of Jupiter” will surely rain down on the MGM Grand Garden Arena when Train pulls onto the stage. Lead singer Patrick Monahan wrote that song after his mother died of cancer. He woke up one morning with the line “back from the atmosphere” stuck in his head, and that led to the song. Of course, the mega-band will take on its catalog of hits including “Play That Song,” “Hey, Soul Sister” and “Drive By.” The band released its 10th studio album, “A Girl, a Bottle, a Boat” in January. O.A.R and pop songstress Natasha Bedingfield open. 8 pm. Tickets start at $39.50. MGM Grand Garden Arena, 844.379.0370 Patrick Monahan of Train

With lush golf conditions and panoramic scenery, this 27-hole, Robert Trent Jones Jr.designed course offers an experience unlike any other in Las Vegas. Mix and match the 18 holes you play at Spanish Trail, or play them all. Three nine-hole courses designed by Robert Trent Jones Jr. make up the 27 holes here. The longest—The Canyon—gets its name from the sloping fairways and greens. Those last three
holes are a real challenge. The Lakes offers water features on six of the nine holes, with water bordering the greens on five. The parthree third hole requires soaring across two lakes. The Sunrise Course offers large undulating greens with rolling fairways, ending with a signature 9th-hole waterfall, located next to the clubhouse. 5050 Spanish Trail Lane, 702.364.5050.
