Homestead Veterinary Hospital is a state-of-the-art facility located in Villa Ridge, MO which is 10 minutes from both Washington and Eureka, MO. Our practice is approximately 80% equine and 20% small animal. We currently have 4 full-time equine, 1 full-time companion animal, and 1 part-time companion animal veterinarians. We are a very friendly, fun team to work with and pride ourselves on very high-quality client service, patient care, medicine and surgery. Our receptionists, technicians, and doctors are trained in Avimark, which houses our medical records. All of our veterinary assistants are experienced RVT’s that incorporate well into our standard of care. We typically average 1-2 technicians per doctor. A full-time schedule would include one day off during the week and 1-2 Saturdays (only open until noon) per month. No emergency call is expected and all of our small animal emergencies are transferred to local emergency clinics when needed. Our services range from routine care to extensive internal medicine, soft tissue surgery, and orthopedic surgery. We have a CO2 cutting laser, digital x-ray, in-house Idexx laboratory equipment, K therapeutic laser, endoscopy, ultrasound, and a Tonovet. We would love to have a positive, motivated, social veterinarian to add to our group. We would prefer 5 years of experience, but the right new graduate would be considered. Interest in small ruminants and equine would be a plus as well. Salary is competitive and based on experience. Associate Veterinarian needed in west central Illinois. Mt. Sterling/ Rushville Vet Clinic is looking for 1 to 2 associate veterinarians to service in our mixed animal practice. The position can be small animal or large animal, as well as mixed. The practice consists of two clinics 15 miles apart. The practice is 65% small animal, 30% large animal with the rest consisting of equine and small ruminant.
