What It’s Like In The Makeup World By: Rylie Udall Why should you choose high-end makeup? High-end makeup usually is better quality than drugstore makeup.High-end makeup brands are better in quality in several ways. The applicators, such as brushes and beauty blenders change the way foundation, eyeshadow, concealer, mascara all go on your face. Some “dupes” --the drugstore or cheaper brands-- may not apply the makeup as well as a high-end makeup brand might. Also, when you pay to have a high-end makeup brand you are also paying to have flashy tubes or packaging. It means a lot in the makeup world, as many of you may know.
Should you buy from high-end or drugstore? You should buy high-end lipstick because it not only stays on better, but it also has better applicators. Also, you should buy high-end eyeshadow. It blends much easier and is way more pigmented. It is not very easy to find a drugstore foundation to match your skin-tone if you are very pale or very dark, because they do not have much of a selection. Although, you can invest in a more expensive foundation and buy other products such as mascara and liner from your nearby drugstore. You do not always have to purchase high-end makeup if you know how to blend properly and apply it correctly. All it takes for your makeup to look as good as you want is a little bit of practice and a whole lot of patience. You probably want to buy your dip-brow from high-end because it does not dry out as fast, and it has more variety of colors than just blonde and brown.

What makeup is cruelty free? There are many makeup brands that are cruelty free. Many makeup brands do not want to test on animals or do not like to. Here are a few high-end and drug store makeup brands that are cruelty free. Anastasia Beverly Hills, Bare Minerals, Colour Pop, Kat Von D, NYX, and Urban Decay. The list goes on of brands that are cruelty free. If you love animals, then hearing about the cruelty free brands should make you happy. Some cruelty free brands are also vegan which means they do not have any animal products in them, for example, honey, beeswax, lanolin, cholesterol and gelatin. The list is not limited just because it is vegan. The makeup may have some of these products.

How do you work with pigmentation? Pigmentation has a lot of factors. The color of your skin can be a factor of pigmentation. How well an eyeshadow can be blended is pigmentation. The way you would choose a foundation for your skin would be putting a swatch of eyeshadow on the inner part of your forearm and blending it out. Your face is most likely the same color as that part of your skin. The pigmentation of eyeshadow is always a big deal to us makeup lovers. You want an eyeshadow that is very well pigmented because you can always blend it easier than if it were less pigmented. Also, if your eyeshadow is more pigmented you do not have to put as much of it on.
If you are looking to be a makeup artist and you need to know some things about makeup, this article will help you a lot. Being involved in the makeup world is being open minded to many things like crazy looks, colorful eyeshadows, fleek eyebrows, and just having a whole lot of fun. Makeup is not just covering up your face; it is an art. It always helps you to feel like a better you. Also makeup is not for only one gender. It is for anyone who feels like using it. Makeup gives you the chance to be creative and do what ever looks you want to do.

Are Virtual Students A Good Idea?
My third reason is that students learn better in an "in school" environment. By this I mean that students learn By: Faith Rice better with hands on activities and with other students in groups. When people have a group-like mentality or they enjoy being in groups and learning in groups, they learn With all the new technology in today's world, there is a new idea brought up for discussion: virtual students. The even better. When students do all of their work online, idea of virtual students is that students do not have to go they lose that group interaction. They also learn better at school because they do not have the distractions from to school but do everything online. There are perks and downsides to having virtual students. I strongly disagree home. Lots of students have a hard home life or they are with this idea for multiple reasons. My first reason is that super busy, but when they go to school they become students/kids will become super lazy. My second reason distracted from it and they learn. When students are at school they are less likely to be out getting drunk and is that for procrastinators, like myself, the work will doing drugs. Virtual students have the time to go out and never get done or it will, but it will be rushed all in one or two days. My third reason is that some students learn do those things when they are supposed to be doing better in the "at school" environment. Therefore, virtual school. Therefore, the "in school" environment is just better. students are not a good idea. My first reason for not having virtual students is that the students will get lazy. The students stay home all day and stare at a computer screen. First of all, that is really bad for your eyes. People already stare at screens for pleasure, which is bad enough. Also, where does the P.E. come in? You cannot get P.E. online. That just does not work. The students will be home all day, and so that leads me to the question: what about friends? What about the social connection they get at school? These are all reasons why virtual students are not a good idea.
Looking back on these things that I have mentioned, it is clear that I do not support the idea of virtual students. I guess there are some perks to being in online classes, like you have the freedom to get the work done at your own pace, but some students do not work well that way. I still strongly disagree with the idea of having virtual students.
My second reason is that there are people in this world who are procrastinators, myself included. Procrastinators have a tendency to not do work until the last minute. In a non-virtual school the students have things to turn in everyday that were assigned the day before. This way all the work is not drawn out over a long period. Granted, some of the work is, but not most of it. In virtual schools you get all of the assignments at once and then you have a month or two to get it all done. There are some students who will hold off on doing it until the last minute because they think that they do not have to do it all right away and then they forget about it. The outcome of this is lots of stress and possibly a lot of crying. Of course this is brought on by the students themselves, but they just work better at the "in school" environment.

Stranger Things - A Review By: Bailey Brooks
It’s November, 1983. In the fictional town of Hawkins, Indiana, a portal has been opened, an axis shifted, and something has escaped. Will Byers [portrayed by Noah Schnapp] bikes down a dark street at night, having finished a ten hour long Dungeons and Dragons campaign mastered by his friend Mike Wheeler [portrayed by Finn Wolfhard]. And that’s when the monster appears -- and it’s the last time Will is seen for far too long. He remains as such against the wishes and efforts of his overworked and single mother Joyce [Winona Ryder], who is desperate to find him — as well as Police Chief Jim Hopper, or ‘Hop’ [David Harbour]. Back to our time. On July 15th, 2016, Netflix released the supernatural drama Stranger Things for its audiences to enjoy. And enjoy they did; within it’s first 35 days the series had raked in a total of 14.07 million adult views (a demographic ranging from ages 18-49). Simply put, everyone ate it up. It’s a nostalgic show for those who have lived through the ’80s, and even to those that weren’t born until much later (such as myself), who grew up watching ’80s movies like The Goonies, The Poltergeist, and E.T. I loved it immediately. The dynamic of the characters, older and younger, is realistic, refreshing, and full of depth. Together, the ensemble of Stranger Things is what makes it strange; not just the monster (referred to in the show as the Demogorgon — named after a monster in the First Edition of Dungeons and Dragons, which, for those of you who aren’t awesome nerds, is a tabletop game in which characters gather together to complete a campaign with numerous obstacles, such as having to fight evil monsters and steal back your money from trolls) or the atmosphere, or the unexplained 6

history. It’s the fact that people who are so different, with different goals in mind, can still manage to save the day and remain humble in the end. The series, so far, is only 8 (fifty-five minute long) episodes. Within the first, the storyline is set. Mike, Lucas [portrayed by Caleb McLaughlin], and Dustin [Gaten Matarazzo] are determined to find Will. Mike’s sister, Nancy [Natalia Dyer] is falling for popular jock, Steve Harrington [Joe Keery] and it’s all brilliant. Ryder does the perfect job of acting the distressed, panicked mother, while Wolfhard, Matarazzo, and McLaughlin are convincingly curious and desperate to find the last member of their quartet. That is, until another joins them. Out looking for Will, the boys stumble upon Eleven, a mysterious young girl with telekinetic powers [portrayed by Millie Bobby Brown], who appears to have escaped from the nearby facility where she was kept all of her life. With a shaved head, garbed in a dirty hospital gown, she is seeing the world for the first time. The boys, naturally, take her in. And that’s when the real adventure starts.
To put it simply, this show will draw you in quicker than you could believe (and if it doesn’t, something is wrong with you). The musical score [created by Kyle Dixon and Micheal Stein] is the perfect mixture of mysterious and youthful, the acting is superb (or so says the Screen Actor’s Guild, which just gave the entire cast awards for their accomplishment on a well-delivered, brilliant first season), and the first five minutes are intriguing enough to draw you in for the rest — which will definitely include a second season coming out this Halloween.

Participation Awards: Positive or Negative Influence?
three main reactions to the lack of a participation reward – all of which can be dealt with fairly easily. (1) The kid By: Madeline Parker does not care whether they get an award or not because they love playing the sport or competing in the activity. Over the past several years, participation awards If this is the case, then there should be no problem. (2) have become more and more popular. Should they get a Do these awards motivate kids to work harder or do they participation award? I do not think so. If they love it and humiliate them? Kids in competitions and sports are no they want it, then they can work for it. That is reality. longer receiving awards based only on accomplishment In reality, you do not get paid to just “show up” or hard work. They are getting rewarded for just merely showing up. People think that being cautious of a child’s at work. You get paid for the work you do. This seems sensitivity and feelings is more important than preparing like common sense, but the entitlement mindset seems to be the norm. Maybe participation awards are not the them for adult life, but a kid isn’t going to be a kid forever. If kids are trained to think that they are entitled only thing encouraging this mentality, but I do believe to good things for simply showing up, then they will be that they play a key part in it. It is my belief that So if a child is trained and taught that they deserve children do not need to be rewarded for simply showing things, and that they do not need to work, then how are they going to provide for themselves? Now, I do not want to make children miserable or unhappy in any way. However, I believe that many people get worked up over something that is not a problem in the first place. I think that there are

Suicide Squad: Burn It (0/5 Stars) By: Anthony Blackthorne Suicide Squad is a movie that is loved enough by many to get a line of merchandise as well as a Blu-Ray uncut version. The movie is compiled of short explanations of the origins of the members of the squad: Harley Quinn, Capt. Boomerang, Killer Croc, Deadshot, Man-WhoCan-Climb-Anything, Katana, and anyone else I didn’t mention due to the lack of care for the movie. The short origin scenes could have easily been their own movies if better care was put into them. But what we got was a literal illogical smack in the face that many people failed to notice. The movie has this group of criminals fighting against an earth threatening supernatural force, not so bad right? WRONG! Superheroes exist for a reason. Some of them have already had experience with this sort of stuff on separate planets and/or planes of existence. Read a comic and watch them do it! Now, time to give you a rundown on who is in the squad. Harley Quinn was an employee for Arkham Asylum. She fell in love with joker, who possesses no powers whatsoever. She is not likely to stand a chance against a super villain - let alone against Aquaman (one of the weaker DC heroes). Capt. Boomerang, ever heard of him? No? That’s because he is a Flash villain who has hardly been seen in anything (and also uses boomerangs). Man-Who-Can-Climb-Anything was barely featured and died before he could escape this god awful film. Killer Croc is a crocodile/human hybrid who tries too hard to be a crocodile. El Diablo does have an actual superpower, but he ends up being a waste of space. Deadshot, played by Will Smith, acts exactly like Will Smith, and tries his best despite the horrible script. I’m not going to bother with the others due to the fact it will be just as tedious as counting grains of sand at the beach and then naming them all.

This “movie” felt like it was a series of trailers that were stuck together. This movie was also desperately trying to go for a DC version of Marvel’s Guardians of the Galaxy, but people still loved this dung pile. They loved it so much that a bunch of people started a petition to ban the critical ideas of other people who were against them. They even worded it so that it said that no one can have an opinion about anything, and that social media was similar to crime. The petition was denied a week after, due to right of free speech. To sum this review up, the movie should burn in a fire and be forgotten. But it’s too late for that now, because they announced a sequel. Queue sarcastic joy!
