In the event of an error, or omission in printing or publication of a Client’s Material, M.G shall be limited to an adjustment for the space occupied by the error, with maximum liability being cancellation of the cost of the first incorrect advertisement or republication of the correct advertisement.Under no circumstances shall Myanmar Gazette Newspaper be liable for consequential damages of any kind.

SUMMARY: When a beautiful, aspiring, writ er strides into the East Village bookstore where Joe Goldberg works, he does what anyone would do: he googles the name on her credit card. There is only one Guinevere Beck in New York City. She has a public Facebook ac count and tweets in cessantly, telling Joe everything he needs to know: she is simply Beck to her friends, she went to Brown Univer sity, she lives on Bank Street, and she’ll be at a bar in Brooklyn to night—the perfect place for a “chance” meeting. As Joe invisibly and obsessively takes con trol of Beck’s life, he begins quietly removing the obstacles that stand in their way. Joe will do anything to ensure Beck finds herself in his waiting arms—even if it means murder.

YOU is a manipulative, obsessive, and psychologically twisted ‘romance’ from the perspective of a charming psychopath. The book was strangely addictive, and unlike anything I’ve read before. Joe, a seemingly normal guy working in a bookshop. However, NOTHING is normal about him— he obsesses and stalks the one he likes. You refers to the person Joe’s obsessive over (in this case, Guinevere Beck). The thing that sucks the reader in the most is how crazy his mind works; reading more than half the book in one sitting made me realize that his mind works in a certain way that makes him practically addicted to the person he loves. He infiltrates her life, invades her most private moments and thoughts, stalks her, and even goes as far as murdering the people who try to sabotage or even possible competitors. I am outrageously impressed by how far the author

goes in really portraying Joe’s char acter, truly capturing the nature of an obsessed, love-thirsty stalker. Throughout the book, readers are in his perspective, whose internal dialogue aims at creating goose bumps throughout your body. What really made me like this book was how Kepnes was able to not only capture the psychopath in him, but the things that made Joe charming throughout the book. His psychotic thoughts can even come off as funny in some moments, which helped lighten the mood within such a suspenseful, thriller-themed book. Joe is real, convincing, and hooks you straight into the plot and story. Something that stood out to me was how Kepnes was able to make a reader think or see a new view in things– what you post on social media, what you say, what your actions mean. We live in a modern world where our whole lives are one click away on the internet. Al most anyone can find out anything about you.

Our lives are documented on dif ferent social platforms, and Joe, the main character, uses the internet and social media to his advantage. This book really made me take a closer look at how much of myself I show on the internet and how easy it would be for someone like Joe to find out everything about me within just a few clicks on his device. It’s a recomendable book for people looking out for suspense, thriller, and mystery— it was darkly funny, entertaining, and surprising at some moments. It’s a great read to start off the month of Halloween!
