PLAZA 2 – The ZEN ZONE
A brand new plaza where Bonnaroovians can chill out and with their head in the clouds, relaxing to a fluffy light show.
PLAZA 3 – House of Yes
After a two-year long hiatus - one due to the pandemic and the other due to weather - Bonnaroo is back and better than ever. Bonnaroo has paid close attention to fan feedback throughout its history in order to best enhance the onsite experience, each year integrating new features and exciting upgrades to the overall event. Bonnaroo 2022 will see the debut of an array of additional activities and site improvements, including enhanced signage, way finding help, pedicabs, info booths, cooling stations, and much more.
What’s New at Bonnaroo
This year will also see the introduction of Bonnaroo Daily Entry Camping Passes, a new system required for all vehicles and campers that will drastically cut wait times entering the festival site. GA ticket-buyers will be required to secure a vehicle pass by day for either Tuesday, Wednesday, or Weekend access from Thursday through Sunday. The earlier campers arrive, the closer they will camp in proximity to Centeroo. This year’s Bonnaroo will see getting around the festival made easier and more convenient than ever before with the arrival of Jamtrak Powered by Allegiant, a free on-site transport system enabling attendees to easily travel day or night to and from Centeroo and the far away parts of the site. Bonnaroo 2022 will also see a number of stage improvements, including a spectacular production makeover for our second biggest stage, The Which Stage. In addition, The Other Stage – our beloved home for electronic music – will now feature all-night performances and DJ sets through sunrise each day, along with spectacular new lighting, lasers, and surprises galore. Fans will also love the reinvention of the Silent Disco and the Who Stage, and even the What Stage has a special surprise in store.
Campgrounds at Roo: a world within a world
Bonnaroo’s campground hubs of curated activities and convenience – known as Plazas – will return better than ever in 2022. Strategically located and well-lit public places throughout the campgrounds, Plazas include shade, free public Wi-Fi, charging stations, misting stations, showers, restrooms, medical and safety stations, information booths and incredible programming for the fans. House of Yes and Little Cinema return in 2022, bringing rainbow realness and Brooklyn magic to Bonnaroo with epic spectacles, immersive movie screenings, circus shows galore, and all-night dance parties for the weird, wild and wonderful in all of us.
PLAZA 5 – Galactic Giddy-Up
Bonnaroovians are invited to boot scoot boogie over to Plaza 5’s extraterrestrial saloon, Galactic Giddy-Up, where they can learn to line dance or catch a show on the back of a pickup truck. Headliners include Turnpike Troubadours, Paul Cauthen, Flatland Cavalry, Lainey Wilson, The Brook and The Bluff, and Vinyl Ranch.
PLAZA 7 – ROOm of Rhythm
A colorful new world fueled by Jazz and Blues, created by Brooklyn design duo Wade & Leta and populated by artist Jenny Ollikainen’s award-winning Mythic Times masked performers, designer Brett Douglas Hunter’s fabulous creature creations, and the intriguing sounds of Yomí (that Harpist). Headliners include Sugaray Rayford, Tomar and The FCs, and Reverend Peyton’s Big Damn Band.
PLAZA 9 – ROOlax and ROOboot
by Motherfunk, The Beyond is a safe space featuring everything from interactive art to funky dance parties, yoga, curated sounds, and great vibes.
The Bonnaroo Pride Parade
The annual Bonnaroo Pride Parade will once again march through the Camping Plazas, bringing together merrymakers of all identities to form a spectacular, rainbow-covered party of unity, love, and celebration. Last, but very definitely not least, the newly revamped VIP Campground Plaza will feature air-conditioning, private bars, complimentary Wi-Fi, daily yoga classes, games, live video feeds of the festival performances, and some special surprises. Located close to Plazas 2 and 3, the VIP Campground Plaza is available exclusively to VIP patrons.
Droolworthy Food
From mouth watering fish tacos and grassfed beef burgers to the best damn doughnuts you’ve ever had (seriously), there are all sorts of food adventures throughout the festival. With plenty of vegan, vegetarian and gluten free options you WON’T be going hungry. There is also the BonnaROOTS Dinner. BonnaROOTS are our annual locally-sourced sunset feasts supporting grassroots causes— Oxfam America and Eat for Equity. Available on multiple days, VERY special guests join us for an unforgettable meal on The Farm. Past years, people found themselves sitting next to, Bonnaroo producers, artists, activists and an assortment of Bonnaroovians with an appetite for soulfully good food. Together, you’ll eat, drink, and raise thousands of dollars for the greater good. Saturday’s dinner boasts the world’s longest salad bar - all sourced locally.
Bonnaroo’s place to relax and reboot. A shady hang space where attendees can hook up to wi-fi, send out emails, charge your devices, and upload pics to make non-Bonnaroovian friends Change the World jealous. For the first time ever, Bonnaroovians can say “I Roo.” Bonnaroo’s new Chapel of Love will host romantic activities like Love Song Karaoke Happy Hour, sets by New Orleans house music DJ HEELTURN, interactive photo booths, and daily wedding ceremonies where attendees can get hitched by Bonnaroo’s very own “Dolly.”
