PAVILION TO BE RENAMED IN HONOR OF ROSCOE LEE
Top Responders for 2019: #1 – Javier Trujillo, #2 – Tom George, #3 – Vic Studer
At the March 9th City Council meeting, Mayor Mark Denman honored long-time City volunteer Roscoe Lee with the naming of the park pavilion in his honor. Roscoe's plaque will be installed with a quote that reads "Volunteering is the ultimate exercise in democracy. You vote in elections once a year, but when you volunteer, you vote every day about the kind of community you want to live in." Roscoe is a charter member of the Parks & Recreation Committee, and is the current Chairman of the Planning Commission. This is a well-deserved honor for Roscoe and his over forty years of volunteer service to the City! Congrats Roscoe!
