BACKING BACK TO SCHOOL
This year, St. Thomas the Apostle Episcopal Church will be Backing Back to School for McWhirter Elementary. McWhirter Elementary is a Title 1 School with more than 79% of its children below or at the poverty level, which means families often have to choose between rent, food, and school supplies each fall. Please join St. Thomas the Apostle Episcopal Church and School in backing McWhirter’s children, teachers, and staff as they go back to school! Join us by taking a backpack from Brumley Hall, filling it with the enclosed district-requested supply list (Kroger bundles these items at a discount!), and returning it to St .Thomas for a blessing by August 11th! These children need you! St. Thomas is located at 18300 Upper Bay Road and is open from 7:30am until 5:30pm, Monday through Friday. For more information, please call 281-333-2384.
