Maimo Natalia Gisel Teaching Practicum 2 Carlos Maschwitz School, Primary Level 02/10/2016 Final Personal Conclusion I have observed First Year Primary English lesson at the Carlos Maschwith School and I have noticed that the teacher´s work there was close similar to the kinder garden teacher. The teacher has to develop some mother´s instinct with the children and their relationship gets stronger. I could have noticed that the affective filter is almost lower when the teacher does the “mother´s role”. Children learn in a passive way, which means, they are closer to acquire the language than to learn it. I loved the way children learn the language by constructivist methods. The teachers work very hard with constructivist concepts and projects. By this way I can appreciate the fruits of their efforts. I think these methods are very effective with young children and they create a good atmosphere. However, I do not like the lack of physical space that the building has. It conditions the lessons and the student´s play time.
