It should go without saying that racism is wrong. Police brutality is wrong. Lawlessness is wrong. Unfortunately, these are not new problems because sin is not a new problem. The Body of Christ must find a way to help bring about needed change. This change is a change of heart, from a heart of sinful pride to a heart that strives to be like Christ. It is the only real and lasting solution.
In A Sin Problem, not a Skin Problem, Dr. J.L. Williams explores the past, the present, and the Bible to provide insight into race and racism. As the founder of Feed the Hunger, J.L. dedicated his life to racial reconciliation and cross-cultural ministry. May his perspective be helpful in some small way to the ongoing dialogue so desperately needed to bring continued change in our country.
