Batavia Park District News Recreation Center proposed The Batavia Park District is placing a bond referendum on the March 17 ballot to acquire the land, build, and equip an indoor recreation center. The indoor facility would include: • Eight-lane swimming pool • Large turf playing field • Multi-activity court gymnasium • Indoor track (free to seniors with SilverSneakers program) • Group wellness and cardio/strength circuit equipment • Multi-purpose rooms The location of the facility resides in the Fox Valley Business Park, located off Rt. 25 (River St.) at the corner of Belleview Ln. and Oswalt Ave. in Batavia. Sat., March 21 City Hall Council Chambers Expo opens: 6pm, Movie: 7pm Discussion following movie Enjoy the 12th annual Green Night Out at the Movies featuring Current Revolution. The event features an Eco-Expo, the environmentally themed movie, and a discussion about the movie topic with local experts afterward. This is a free community event.
