JHWC to Host Weight-Loss Challenge 2022 Class

oin Dr. Jon Repole, a 20-year experienced holistic functional medicine practitioner, for the Jacksonville Health and Wellness Center’s (JHWC) free Weight-Loss Challenge 2022 class at 6:30 p.m. on January 13. This challenge will provide attendees with some of the secrets to losing those stubborn pounds without fad and yo-yo dieting gimmicks. Too Dr. Jon Repole, DC many diet programs focus on quick weight-loss schemes that sacrifice long-term benefits (reversal of disease and optimal health) for short-term gains (weight loss only). In addition to dietary instructions, additional layers of challenges will be provided to help with stress reduction, hormonal balancing, and exercise initiation. All these strategies can be implemented immediately for sustainability and ease. According to the Centers for Disease Control, three out of four Americans are either obese or overweight. Fat accumulation, especially around our vital organs, is directly related to all-cause mortality, accelerated aging, inflammation and increased toxicity.

Meditation Workshop Coming to Spiritual Uplifts

Spirit Fest Coming to the Schultz Center

pirit Fest: Metaphysical and Holistic Fair will be held from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. on January 29 and 30 at the Schultz Center, in Jacksonville. There will be 70 booths with vendors, practitioners, readers, artists, authors and demonstrations. “We’re so excited to be coming back to Jacksonville,” says producer Mary Ellen Popyk, of the Sanctuary for Mind, Body & Spirit. “Our event here last year was an overwhelming success. We have many new things this time. Our special guest is Jim Vieira, from the History Channel, who will be giving special presentations each day. We also have other guests from around the country.” Speakers are scheduled throughout both days on a variety of topics, included with daily admission.
