WhenourfamilymadethedecisiontomovetoSouthKoreaatthe beginningoftheglobalpandemic,wewereunsureifthepathwaywe hadchosen,wasthebestforourfamily.Butwetooktheplunge,and atthetime,Itookfaithinthisquotehere.Movingoutofourcomfort zoneisdaunting,theunknownposesmanyquestionsandpossible challenges.Themagicforourfamilyhascomeintheeveryday moments,thegrowthandlearningwehaveallachieved,andthe
June2024 connectionswehavemade.Ihogirlshavebeenahugepartofourlivesandwewilltreasurealloftheindividuals andthememorieswehavecreated,forever.Iʼmalwayssoproudofourgirls,evenwhenthingsarehard,theyare showingincrediblecharacterstrengths.Manyofyouhavebeenputoutsideyourcomfortzoneputtingyour daughterintoboarding,butthedevelopmenttheyallgothroughisspecialandIʼmblessedtohavebeen witnesstothesemoments.Thankyouforentrustingustocareforyourlovelyyounglady,ithasbeenan absoluteprivilege.Ihavenodoubttheywillflyandmaketheirmarkonthisworldinuniqueways.Allthevery best,KaKiteanox
WeekendactivitiesFarewellBBQandtrip
ThisweekIHOhousewenttotheHyeopjae Beachfortheendofyeartrip.Weatepork forlunchtogetherinsomecutetents. ThankyoutotheYear11ʼswhosuggested suchaspecialplace.
Afterlunch,wehadsomefreetimewitha groupattheprettyHyeopjaeBeach. EveryonehadafuntimeatHyeopjae Beach.Afterreturningtotheboarding house,wehadaboardersBBQandvalue assemblyatthecanteen.Thecanteen preparedtheamazingBBQandthedeserts whichwereverydelicious.Allofthe studentsenjoyedhavingaBBQinsidethe canteen.

Thisweekend,ourboardersorganiseda seriesofexcitingeventsaimedatbringing everyonetogetherforafun-filled experience.Oneofthehighlightswasthe "ColourRun,"whereparticipantshada blastplayingandsprayingharmless powdersoneachother.Separateevents wereheldforjuniorsfromeighthto eleventhgrade,ensuringthateveryone couldtakepart.Inadditiontothe"Colour Run,"therewasarefreshingwaterplay eventthataddedtotheexcitement.
Followingtheactiveevents,wegathered foradelightfulBBQpartyanddinner.The fundidn'tstopthereasweallheadedto karaokeandhadafantastictime.

Lastweekend,wespenttimetomake WontonSoupinIHOwithMrs.Zhang. Wontonsoupisasimple,light,Chinese classicwithpork-filleddumplingsin seasonedchickenbroth.Whetherinsoupor fried,wontonsalwaysadddelicious,hearty flavortoanydish!Studentsenjoyedand learnedabouttheWontonsouptheymade.
Year11exams
Term 3 was a busy, unusual term for year 11s.They stayed in revision venues prepping for IGCSE exams that happen for over one month. Recently, they have been participating in various academic enrichment sessions organized by Mr. Morton as they have more free time with less exams.

So many of our Iho girls were a part of theArts week, working hard for weeks beforehand to ensure the product/performance was the best. We were so proud of all of them. Difficult to highlight everyone, but special mention to Luisa Kim who had her design chosen for the 2nd year running
