WELL-BEING

Last year the Learning Support area was voted by students as the most popular location for study and revision with the highest satisfaction rate during the exam season. The Learning Support team continues to provide a supportive comfortable environment for study and wellbeing. Our doors are always open.

MUSIC

From October 29 to November 4, 14 students of the violin, viola and cello, drawn from Years 7 to 11, took part in the school’s first ever tour to Australia to huge success, and if this wasn’t enough, the Music Department had in the region of 25 events over the past 15 weeks - that averages out at 1.5 events per week for the whole first term. Phew!

SPORTS

It has been a busy and rewarding term of Sport for our student athletes at NLCS Jeju. Congratulations to all those students who participated in the KISAC tournaments and for many it also proved a successful experience. We also enjoyed some overseas adventures; with our Junior School footballers participating in the BISP 7’s competition in Phuket, Thailand. Also our U16 Rugby squad participated in the FOBISIA Rugby competition hosted by Marlborough College, Malaysia.

Well done and thank you to all the students and staff who have contributed to NLCS Jeju Sport this term. SCIENCE

HOUSE COMPETITIONS

Excitement, Challenge, Teamwork and Celebration

The first term is always a wonderful time for growth and development and I have thoroughly enjoyed being part of such a positive community. Working alongside the student leaders in home captain meetings, cooking barbeque together, or rewarding the value champions in our final term assembly, there is always so much to celebrate in NLCS Boarding!
