The Egyptian Cultural Centre BA - Senior project 2013
Project: The Egyptian cultural center Location: Caracas, Venezuela It is located between few other cultural centers and art galleries. Purpose: focuses on main arts in Egypt resembling music, cinema and poetry Concept: An Egyptian Eagle Landing powerfully on a plot of land demonstrating the strength of Egypt and its culture Sustainability: Shading devices Water bodies Vegetation Glass flaps on side’s elevations allowing mechanically controlled air movement in and out for ventilation A Biomimicry project: Building is an abstract from the frame line of an eagle’s Body.
Concept
The wings of the eagle lay on the entrance to cover & surround the people entering securing them with a shading device abstracted of its structure and pattern. It has sensors that are sensitive to brightness, as it reaches a certain limit it moves to avoid undesirable solar radiation

The Saudi Underground Museum for history & heritage
An Underground museum designed to present the Heritage and History of Saudi Arabia. This project won Second place over the GCC countries -2012-2013
Concept
Making the individual feel that they are extracting the ground to dig for heritage and history them selves by walking down the contour underground to reach the galleries. Showing the strength and depth of what is hidden. The gallery halls were split into the main five regions of Saudi Arabia. East & West provinces, Central North & South provinces. Each regions heritage and history was carefully studied in detail before perusing a conceptual design. Main floor plan was built on -5 level. Design took a selfless theme of working to create the Tarout castle as a focal point. Heritage conservation.

was inspired from the tornado, revolving around a base point which is solid and is not affected by the market’s change, and that’s represented in the building that has all the answers of clients needs and designs.

Concept development Concept was developed by using the sea horse skeleton shape as the house’s skin and the function of the sea horse as it adapts the area it stays in by utilizing the surrounding for survival.
Biomimicry Beach House – Jeddah
The house is raised 4 meters in consideration of global warming and the raise of water in the future Turbines built underneath the house to consume the red sea’s water movement in order to reduce the amount of wasted energy. That energy coming out of the turbines supplies the house with sufficient electricity and sweet water.
