Thank you to everyone who came to see us at Springwell Sessions in September - What a brilliant event! And thank you so much to everyone who supported our GoFundMe. We quite literally couldn’t have done it without you.
In amongst the mayhem of organising our first festival, we also had a very exciting announcement to make. It’s official, we’re coming to Birmingham! Our first taproom outside Yorkshire is opening on Snow Hill in Birmingham this November. We’ll be pouring beers from North and friends, mixing up draught Negroni, curating a small but perfectly formed wine list, and serving hot coffee from early for your commute.
Our friends Little Bao Boy will be heading down south with us, serving their Asian street food including light fluffy bao, addictive gyoza, and loaded fries who have developed a real cult following here in Leeds.
This month’s box sees our first DIPA in what feels like forever join the line up. Globe Earth is a squishy, juicy, grapefruity, soft treat showcasing everything we love about Double IPAs. We cannot wait to hear what you think!
Light User Syndrome is our take on a brown ale, influenced by the American Brown we brewed with Newtown Park earlier this year. Some of you will have tried these in your boxes a few months back so let us know how it compares!

It’s been a while since we’ve doubled down on an IPA so here we go, a big juicy and uber smooth Double IPA for you to wrap your lips around and sink into!
As soft as velvet clouds and hopped to the high heavens, Globe Earth is a continuation of our research into hop varieties’ resilience throughout the brewing process. Some hops like it hot, some hops like it cold.
Of course, the grist is loaded with flaked and naked oats for the smooth creaminess we all love in a DIPA. We’ve finished a little higher on the gravity for a touch more sweetness and to let those hops bounce up to the front and come through loud and proud!

Our fourth (and final) TFG of the year and it is especially delicious! Our signature thick, slick and salty gose recipe comprised of a big dose of oats, ale malt, salt and a sprinkle of lactose is infused with ALL of the organic fruit puree!
Tayberry flavours hit first with upfront acidity, met with dryness and backed with loads of sweet juiciness. Sweet and smooth blackcurrant rounds out the mouthfeel on the mid with zippy sour cherry on the finish! JAMMY!
Best enjoyed with a creamy dessert or a crumble!

NORTH x NEON RAPTOR

Our collaboration with Neon Raptor is a rich and decadent imperial stout to cheer us up as we step into the colder months!
Made up with a bundle of the tastiest malts and a bountiful load of cacao husks in the mash with a sprinkling of lactose to up the sweetness and increase the body of this luscious, chocolatey smooth and chewy imperial stout. We circulated the finished beer through even more cacao husks and a choc-load more cacao nibs resulting in hugely chocolatey stout backed up with peanut and banana flavour making for a robust, sweet and roasty beer balanced between desert beer fun but countered with a malty and complex classic stout.

For every pint and can sold North Brewing Co are donating 10p to our charity partner, St.George’s Crypt. An incredible Leeds based charity who provide food, emergency housing, rehab support, wellbeing support and healthcare to the homeless and vulnerable in Leeds.

Back with our buds at Bundobust, we’ve whipped up a brand new sour with the Indian Street Food Legends! The aim as always in our collaborations with Bundobust is to make a beer that is going to compliment the flavours in their expertly cooked dishes whilst also contrasting and taking off the heat a little.
A pale base made with oats and lactose makes a for a soft and smooth base to build from. A touch of souring works with a gentle addition of lactose to create a rounded finish imitating peeled lemon rind. Fresh organic Pineapple Pureé further smooths it all out and sweetens it up with toasted coconut chips making for a creamy and tropical finish.

Brewed in collaboration with Newbarns Brewery, Leith. Newbarns have shared their expert knowledge classic styles with us and together, we’ve made a refreshing and incredibly satisfying Lager.
Taking cues from Newbarns brewing processes, we’ve mashed with heritage malts, Haná, Chevalier and Chit to create a smooth, light and rounded body with a sweet back note and a constant crisp fold right through the middle. Whirlpool additions of whole leaf UK Ernest and German Callista provide subtle yellow stone fruit and herbaceous notes whilst the fermentation process and spunding livens up the yeast aroma bringing floral bouquets and freshly baked white bread.

A beer that needs no introduction, it’s Transmission, our beloved core range IPA! You know what they say about IPA? - Freshest is bestest! This Transmission is FRESH!
Resinous pine, pithy pink grapefruit zest and fleshy ripe pineapple combines with a soft haze of juicy stone fruits and sweet mango. Transmission is an award winning IPA and our core range headliner. A beer we’re incredibly proud of and one that stands up against the best brewing has to offer!

Hops Centennial + Willamette + Citra + Cascade
An unsung hero of beer styles, the American Brown Ale. Roasty malts combine with citrus hops to create a harmony of complex flavour.
A blend of crystal, pale, oats and dark malt creates an incredibly smooth base full of chewy caramel, fresh hazelnut and a touch of roasty dark chocolate. We’ve added US heavyweight Centennial throughout the boil with Willamette and Citra going in the whirlpool bringing us bright citrus zest, pine and honey aroma and a tacky bite of bitterness. We fermented with our house English ale yeast bringing us lovely estery and berry flavours and dry hopped with equal parts Centennial and Amarillo to finish the beer with a touch more citrus and fresh pine flavour.

The return collaboration with our friends at Var Var Brewery in Ukraine.
We both brewed strong, rich stout made to replicate the flavours of Ukraine’s famed smoked prunes. In our version, we used a fine spread of dark roast malts as well as smoked malt making a rich and sweet base with incredible depth of flavour, and then let it rest in a blend of Laphroaig Whisky and second fill Bourbon and Whisky barrels deepening its palette.
The VarVar version wasn’t aged in barrels so comes in a little lighter and less oaky, allowing the prunes to assert themselves a lot more. Both boast luxurious dark roast coffee, essences of liquorice, caramelised muscovado, molasses, and an unmistakable smooth smoke flavour.

With a superbly smooth base of Pilsner malt, wheat, oats and a low percentage of Vienna malt, Half Dome really hits the spot balancing drinkability with exuberant hop character. Galaxy, Citra and Simcoe form the trifecta of flavour here, offering underripe mango and pineapple with clean herbal notes of sweet basil and papaya on the finish.

In 2008 Sam set off on what would become a two year odyssey cycling around the world. The first part of that trip took him from the East to the West Coast of the United States.
It was on this leg that Sam started coming across small Taprooms and Breweries producing beer that left a lasting impression.
Beer became more than a way to end the day. It became a way to reflect, connect and share. Local breweries were the lifeblood of communities large and small, places for discussion, inspiration & exploration. 1 bike, 5 continents, 25 countries, 35,000 miles. The start of an idea!
After returning from that trip, Sam threw himself into the beer world, gaining experience in London before heading back to his home in the North West and settling on a 2000 Sq/ft Arch underneath Manchester's Piccadilly Station. Track was born.
IN SAM’S OWN WORDS...
After years of working away in our little arch, we finally found a location to take the next step and realise the dream we’d had since our inception:
To have a Production Facility and Taproom all under one roof. In the summer of 2021 we moved up the road to our new, all in one facility on Piccadilly trading Estate, our new home. A lot has happened since the start, more people have joined, the brewing capacity has increased but the heart of it remains the same. To produce beers to take you on your own journey.
