WHERE TO EAT AND DRINK!

Most of you are pretty familiar with Leeds, so we’ve decided to spotlight a few venues that are a little off the beaten track, closer to Springwell. And popped in a couple of our favourites in town too!

A THE PRIMROSE

our local no-frills boozer. Very old school, eclectic mix of regulars, cheap pints (good Guinness) and a cracking selection of crisps. 2 mins walk down the road from Springwell.

280 MEANWOOD ROAD, LS7 2HZ

B CANNED HEAT

Our nearest bottle shop and bar in Chapel Town. Open Friday 4–10pm and Saturday 2–10pm so please do sneak out on a break to visit them.

223 CHAPELTOWN ROAD, LS7 3DX

C THE BECK AND CALL

Family friendly gastro pub done well. Good selection of beers alongside more mainstream classics. Serve roasts on a Sunday until 9pm if you want to squeeze one in after you finish pouring!

STAINBECK RD, CHAPEL ALLERTON, LS7 2NP

D COFFEE ON THE CRESCENT

15 mins walk from Springwell, great coffee, friendly staff, incredible brownies.

2 THE CRESCENT, WOODHOUSE, LS6 2NW

E HYDE PARK BOOK CLUB

Slightly ramshackle but very loveable indie venue in Woodhouse. Great breakfast options with vegans properly catered for.

27 – 29 HEADINGLEY LANE, LS6 1BL

F THE SHEEPSCAR BAR AND GRILL

Truly brilliant curries, overly bling décor, Pinata on tap, lots of TVs showing sport. At the top of the hill 5 mins walk from Springwell.

SAVILE DRIVE, LS7 3EJ

G LAYNES ESPRESSO

A Leeds classic. Great coffee. Next to the station. A must if you’re travelling by train.

16 NEW STATION STREET, LS1 5DL

NORTH VENUES – OF COURSE!

Your closest North venue is Alfred in Meanwood. There’s no doubt we will end up in North Bar (followed by Mojos, followed by Karaoke…?) at some point over the weekend.
