Key Club has been a very valuable experience throughout my high school years. I would’ve never thought I would be holding the vice president position when I first joined the club as a freshman. Over the years, I’ve grown as a person in the club.
Compared to last year, my schedule has been a lot more packed. From extracurricular activities like the band to numerous AP classes, volunteering for Key Club has been a second thought. I’ve been so busy this year that it was very difficult to make room in my schedule to attend a social event. I also haven’t been able to fulfill my duties as a Vice President to the best of my ability. With Christmas break coming up, I’ve planned to attend some of the holiday events like Christmas at the Arboretum, and volunteer alongside my fellow members.
I was more involved in the club last year as a Sophomore. That year was the first year I held a leadership position. I had a rough start as an assistant editor because that was my first year coming back from covid and I had to balance my duties as an assistant editor alongside my core classes.
Toward the middle of the year, I managed to get a grasp of my position. I created countless flyers to keep the Instagram active. One of my goals for this year is to revive the Instagram because I feel like the design team isn’t putting in as much effort as last year. I hope to motivate them to keep the Instargram active so that the members can see their effects on the community.
Next semester, my goal is to be more active as a Vice President. A lot of the work has been done by our president, Mayah, and I hope to keep some of that weight off of her shoulders.
My dedication to Key Club has diminished over time. Since my schedule is so packed, I hope to keep some of that weight off of her shoulders. My dedication to Key Club has diminished over time
I see my duties as a Vice President and volunteering as a chore rather than something I enjoy. This has led me to put things off until the very last minute.
In the end, Key Club will always have a place in my heart. It was one of the very first clubs that I joined and gained numerous friends. I’ve enjoyed waking up at 5 am
for the dart, standing in the cold weather, and volunteering under the hot sunlight alongside my peers.
November is best known for Thanksgiving Day. Thanksgiving can be described as a time of giving thanks to others for a special moment. For me, there are a lot of things that I’m grateful for this year. I wouldn’t be as thankful if it weren’t for the best club that I’ve ever joined, Key Club.
Key Club will always have a special place in my heart. Not only is it a volunteering club dedicated to helping the community in any way possible, it’s also a club that has been like a family to me. It has impacted my year greatly by making this year more special than it could’ve been, and I couldn’t be more grateful for that.
All the events that I have participated in with Key Club, all have been very memorable to me. Despite harsh conditions like rain and cold weather, the feeling of helping the community can never be shadowed. All members who participated in the event made it a memorable and heart-warming event that I’ll never forget, and I couldn’t be more grateful for that.
All the socials that I have participated in with Key Club, it has all been very unforgettable. The bonding of the members and officers as we socialize, play, and interact with one another has been something that I’ve always dreamed of ever since I joined Key Club. From gamenights, movie nights, to pumpkin carving and banquets, all these socials are what unites our Key Club, and I couldn’t be more grateful for that.
All the fundraisings that we host within Key Club, the sight of members spending money to help give to the community is momentous
and touching. From fundraising for homeless shelters to even orphanages, if it weren’t for our members of Key Club, I am thankful for all the things Key Club has done for not only me, but for the community.
these organizations would probably not be able to help as much as they are now, and I couldn’t be more grateful for that.
All the members, officers, and sponsors of Key Club are the reason that my year has been wonderful. We wouldn’t be the Key Club
that I love if it weren’t for our members coming together to help give back to the community, and I’m grateful for that. The other officers that work alongside me, if it weren’t for their support, Key Club wouldn’t be what it is now and I wouldn’t have been able to support it as much, and I’m grateful for that.
