Let’s get a sweat on!

Most of us think of being sweaty as an inconvenience. Usually because it happens when you’re feeling nervous, stressed, anxious or ill. But it can be a good thing, as sweat plays a really important role in how we eliminate toxins from our body. So much so, we’re always coming up with new ways to make ourselves sweat on purpose – think hot yoga. Utilising sweat in this way is not new though. Humans have been taking advantage of this detox method since the Ancient Greeks.

Can sweat really detox the body?
