The picture on the left captures my thoughts perfectly. It feels like we are in a period of allowing what has finished in our lives to decompose and provide nourishment for the new growth that is sprouting and blooming brightly. The past couple of months have been a time of processing on many levels and I would think I am not the only one who has felt this. I know universally there are many who have been letting go of the old. It does not matter what “old is being let go of, the process is the same for all. It is a realization that no longer can we keep dragging that shit (pardon my language if it offends, but it really is the best word in this instance) along with us. There are so many things that have changed in the last four years, how can we not change and shift as well? Growth is a process that starts with a seed, it must be nourished with food, water, and sunlight in order to survive, and then it must go through a dormant period to be able to start the process all over again. During that time, it appears dead or quiet, however in the case of humans that dormant time is often the time of gathering knowledge, or questioning the knowledge you have to see if it still aligns with your personal beliefs. Then one day, the sun shines a little brighter and something triggers within that goes ah-ha! In that moment we are like the buds upon the trees, we start pushing towards this new knowledge and allow ourselves to grow beautifully in a way that is unique to us. WE still have all the other buds growing along side us. Together we provide beauty unmeasured with the blossoms we support, and soon we will provide shade for others to rest under. Then we will again start to go dormant, our spark will change color, and we will once again, seek nourishment from within. All of us are separate, yet part of a larger group. That is what life is about, being uniquely individual while contributing to the larger group. No matter what is going on in your world, take a look around at the diversity of people. The plants on the left are supported by all that has gone before it, for they provide what it needs to survive and thrive. The plant is doing its own thing, not concerned about what the leaves are doing there. The leaves are not concerned that their beauty is spent, since they are doing their own thing. Each has its own focus, and as the leaves are contributing to the growth of the plant, the plant’s leaves, stems, and blossoms will break down and support the next plant. As we move into Spring, take some time to see what you are supporting and helping grow. Then take some time and give thanks to all that are supporting and helping you grow. There is much to celebrate this month, which includes the return of Spring and all her beauty. The hummingbirds have been whizzing by me for a week already reminding me that joy is ours to find, capture, and hold in our hearts. Find your bliss and enjoy the growth you are experiencing. In fact, celebrate that with unabashed delight, for you deserve it!

The past month has been wet and soggy in my part of the world. We have had our typical “Rain Forest” winter rainy season. While I appreciate the depth of greenness this rain brings, the grey, gloomy days can take a toll! I decided to google rain and look for a different perspective. After all, when you can see how other areas in the world, perhaps need rain to relieve drought, or how it causes flooding, it brings gratitude where angst or depression might creep in. What showed up in my search was something I was not expecting. Mindfulness is all the buzz right now; it has been around for a long time but is enjoying a surge in popularity. Mindfulness is derived from Buddhist roots and was clinically innovated by Jon Kabat-Zinn. Mindfulness involves being aware of our experiences moment by moment – being present. To put it simply, we allow ourselves to be aware of and accept/own our thoughts and feelings without judging them. Due to the surge in popularity, there are many studies being conducted, and just as many classes being offered in mindfulness. RAIN is a technique taught in mindfulness, it is an acronym for R- Recognize, A- Accept, I- Investigate, N- NonIdentify. All emotions we experience derive from just two – love and fear. Let’s face it, when we are experiencing an emotion from the love side, we don’t tend to dwell on it or say “why am I having this emotion?” We are able to flow easily with “love” emotions. It is the emotions that arise from the fear side that tend to twist our insides and get our minds and hearts racing. It is thought that the best way to transform any strong emotions we have or experience is to befriend them. Easier said than done, but by incorporating the RAIN technique, we are directing our attention in a clear, systematic way that could help us deal with any strong emotions we experience. First RECOGNIZE it for what it is. You are experiencing an emotion. You open up to this emotion by asking “what is happening inside me right now”. Then allow the curious explorer to take over as you focus inward. No need to do anything in this moment but truly see what is going on with you. You are to listen to your body without preconceived thoughts about what is happening, but rather allow your body to tell you what is going on. During this exploration, ACCEPT whatever you are going through, and allow it to be. Don’t try to push away from it, don’t try to hide from it or shame yourself out of the emotion. Say “yes” to it, and continue exploring it, allowing it to wash over you. Be fully present with the emo7
tion you are feeling, allowing it to happen. Just observe what, and where in your body, this emotion is speaking to you. Do not feed it with words or thoughts, just let it be. Once you are aware of how the emotion is going through your body, INVESTIGATE it with kindness. Get to the truth of the matter by asking questions “what most wants my attention?”, “what am I believing?”, “what does this feeling want from me?”, “what triggered this emotion?”, “when have I felt this way before?”, “how realistic is my thinking?”, “are there actions I can take right now to help myself or another person?”, “what do I need?” In this inquiry, compassion and non judgement are all that is required, along with a willingness to accept the truth of whatever comes from the questions. Perhaps the hardest part of this whole technique is NONIDENTIFY, which comes next. What you are feeling does not in any way define you. “I am angry” identifies you as the emotion, whereas “I am experiencing anger right now.” identifies the emotion you are feeling. If you can come to the point of observing what you are experiencing like you would watch a movie on a big screen, this will take you out of your way for a brief period of time. Most of the time, our experiences that cause or trigger strong emotions in us, pass. It might take some time, but “this too shall pass.” A new job will come along, you will move past your divorce and new love will enter, your health will improve, etc. History, our personal history, proves this to us, that no matter what we have gone through in the past- here we are today experiencing something different. Mindfulness is a wonderful tool to help us stay present, and living each moment we have to the fullest that we are capable of. As will all wonderful tools, if a person is too overwhelmed with many challenges crossing their path, it might not work. At that point professional help should be sought, there is no shame in asking for help, and at the end of the day, life will be better for it. Without realizing or naming it, I have been doing the above, for many years now. I have always found it serves me well when I am feeling overwhelmed and I just cannot turn off my mind from running down an untoward path I have no intention of taking. Give it a try, or a version thereof, next time something triggers a strong emotion within you. See if RAIN can wash away some of your fears and ease your mind.

with ‘fast food’ for the mind, complete with an instant vocabulary to process everything from our relationships to spirituality. There is the subtle sense that when an idea has penetrated sufficiently into the collective consciousness, it must be ‘true’. However, so much of forward progress throughout human evolution has come from those who explored their own inner perceptions and expressed ideas, which were clearly in contradistinction to prevailing thought.
Cosmos: n. the universe thought of as an orderly, harmonious system. “...those with the courage to explore the weave and structure of the Cosmos, even where it differs profoundly from their wishes and prejudices, will penetrate its deepest mysteries...” Carl Sagan
Just as superhighways bypass the little towns and villages which exemplify the character of an area, so too does pop psychology and spirituality carry people seamlessly past authentic exploration of the unique nooks and crannies that constitute the perhaps uncharted territory of their own psyches. But this is precisely where the deepest mysteries of being human are to be found. It may even be the doorway to an intuitive, felt knowledge of the universe, like moving through a black hole to a whole new level of understanding – an entirely different way of knowing.
Undoubtedly, Carl Sagan was referring to the universe in its external, physical form: the macrocosm. I could not help but think that the above statement is just as true of the ‘universe within’ - the universe of our own perceptions, dreams and desires; the personal construction that becomes ‘our world’, and our sense of our place in it. Human consciousness does not exist ‘outside’ of the universe, and cosmologists have even made the suggestion that it is only through human awareness that the universe can be conscious of itself.
Indeed, it takes courage to explore without a map, or even a compass. It takes courage to embark upon a journey when you have absolutely no idea where it will lead, or take you. If you want to know what everyone else knows, stay on the well traveled path. But if it is life’s deepest mysteries that tempt you, that challenge and inspire you, then have the courage to explore, guided only by your own heart and soul. You may not find the path, but you have a better chance of finding yours.
Humankind has always been fascinated by the mystery of all that is ‘out there’. And of course there have been many ‘explanations’, stories or myths created throughout all of the generations and cultures of the world, to make sense of what may, ultimately, be too vast for any human mind to comprehend. The structure of human consciousness itself is as expansive and magnificent as the galaxies. Think of the great art, literature, music and architecture that have been created through the medium of human thought. We can marvel at the complexity of even one life: the web of experiences and relationships that constitute our own, personal epoch. To reduce any of it to finite explanations would seem to be both limiting and oversimplifying. So, to borrow from Carl Sagan, we could say that: those with the courage to explore the weave and structure of the human experience, even where it differs profoundly from their wishes and prejudices, will penetrate its deepest mysteries… To do this demands a degree of objectivity, perhaps even detachment, so that we may explore the deep inner worlds of humans, unhindered, as much as possible, by interference from the clouded lens of our own perceptions of what is, or should be. This is difficult to do in this time of mass ‘shaping’ of the collective consciousness. We are continually provided, via the media,

I have been contemplating the subject of 'staying focused and on track' for some time now. The universe loves to remind me how often I seem to stray, by 'randomly' placing words or people or situations in my path that draw my focus back to where I tell myself I need to be. And that I feel is part of my issue about staying focused; if I am on the path I need to be on then why do I create obstacles that lead me to stray? Is it a lesson I often wonder, a sacred contract I signed, or is it the ego part of me that makes me think I am certain things? I admire greatly those who say inspiration seem to strike from God or the Universe and so they wrote or created with a steady focused intent. I often question why I start writing and then lose focus complete chapters in and then stop all together. I think half of my issue is that I am waiting for that stroke of “God” inspiration to take me away and that I need to accept that maybe that is not on MY agenda. That I just need to find a way to create a routine of focus for myself and get out of my own head space and just DO. Learning to Deal Openly (DO) with my own strengths and to learn to believe that being ME is all I need to be. I was brought up in a society that constantly compared everyone and taught me to also compare myself and that we AS a collective where not worthy and only a few among us were blessed. Now, as an adult I know that most of what I experienced as a child was a small town culture of exclusivity at play, but the remaining cobwebs that are buried deep in my soul do cause me to endlessly question my own self-worth and has me too often comparing myself to others and deeming myself wanting. One thing I have learnt over my years of selfdiscovery is that I cannot fix what I do not acknowledge. Learning to push into my own perceived weaknesses and shaking the foundations that I have planted them in is the only way I can see any issues that I can then change or heal. We all have our own methods that we have learnt work and I actively encourage anyone feeling 'stuck' and 'unfocused' to take time to find out the what and whys that are holding you captive. 15
Learning to be accepting of who you really are takes courage and strength, BUT if you do not try then you will be stuck on the treadmill of repeating the same mistakes over and over again. Having courage to stop and push the reset button and to feel selfempowered by stepping up and declaring ' I am who I am and who I am is enough' In this age of instant connections to the seemingly perfect lives of others being broadcast to us from our Facebook page or entertainment TV, we need more than ever before to find a way to know and to love who we all are as everyday people living everyday life's. So today I am once again having that exploration with my convoluted mind to reset my thoughts and to move into D.O. To once again put my Louise Hay affirmation: I am loving, lovable and loved and to shift my focus to believing I AM ENOUGH AS I AM. One day I know it will stick, but for now I am so glad I have in place tools that I can use and friends who love me and support that I need to get myself back on track. So for now my war cry as a warrior woman is I AM (enough) and I say to everyone stand up and find your own warrior and shout out loudly your own war cry. Become empowered wearing that beautiful skin you are currently living in.
Remember to walk forward being as gentle, loving and kind to yourselves as you are to others.

Each person deserves a day away in which no problems are confronted, no solutions searched for. Maya Angelou 16

We are seeing a lot of chaotic energy around at the moment. The weather has gone haywire. Schools all around the world have been receiving bomb threats on a daily basis for almost a week. Misinformation and fear campaigns are out in full force. Distraction efforts are at an all-time high.
ters of the light. We will sit around the Sun one day, and have a bit of a laugh together: "Oh, you played the corrupt corporate dude so well!" "Why thank you, and however did you manage to act so powerless for so long??!"
The energy of 2016 has the most power of any year I've felt before, and feels to represent a completely new phase to the years preceding it. As mentioned in the year ahead forecast, it is numerologically a year 9 (2 + 0 + 1 + 6). So we are seeing the end of a period that started in 2008, and we are being given a taste of the 2017-2025 chapter ahead.
We'll argue over who is the most deserving winner of the Galactic Oscars. "You deserve it! "No you do!" We'll hug and acknowledge how great we ALL are, and how much every role on this planet was needed to get us where we needed to be.
2016 feels to be a year when millions of people are deciding or choosing or feeling compelled to step it up a level. Individually and collectively, more of us are stepping into our truth, and stepping into our power. We are taking inspired, conscious action be that walking away from old jobs, to changing the food we eat, the products we buy, the media we watch and the activities we engage in. If the preceding phase was about masses of high-frequency energy entering and pouring onto the planet from every direction, that is, power coming IN from some higher-vibrational source, then this current and incoming phase looks visually to me to be like a ball that is expanding OUT.
Back to the ball. It's growing, it's expanding. The energy that is being nudged out is creating tension, static and chaos with its resistance. We don't need to fight it. We don't have to ignore it. We just need to stay in our ball and play our part in growing it and expanding it. If something outside the ball annoys you, do what feels best in relation to that. If certain food or product production methods upset you, spend your dollars on locally-grown/made, eco-friendly goods. If a behaviour upsets you, ask yourself if you have that inside you and make a commitment to embody the opposite of that, or embody the same in a more positive way. If you feel called to shine the light on certain info by sharing links do so.
This ball feels to represent all the people on this planet who have received this influx of energy, and thus had it activate, and continue to activate, our soul memory, our innate gifts, our potential, and our power. As our memory/potential/power continues to be activated and expressed, it of course expands and increases, both in terms of volume (numbers of people), and our combined power potential/ability.
If you feel your job more involves you increasing the light within the ball, then do that. Do what feels right and true for you. You and only you are coded to be who you came here to be, and to do what you came here to do.
Imagine for a moment that this ball is in the middle of a bigger circle. The bigger circle represents our world and our old paradigm/ reality structure. As the ball expands and grows bigger, it is naturally pushing out the old paradigm/reality structure. The old paradigm/powers that were obviously don't want to be pushed out and so they are fighting back - the result is a chaos type energy. The result is increasing attempts to control this oh so very annoying growing ball of awake, conscious souls who, gasp, think that they actually have power (or, oh crap, they are remembering they have power!!).
There is too much telling others what to do. "Don't get political", "Don't eat this". No-one but you knows why you are here. No-one but your soul knows what your specific role is. It might not be right for your friend to post controversial things, but for you it feels like part of your living and breathing purpose. We all have different purposes, and we all have different ways of helping the collective awaken. We are not here to add to the chaos by creating it inside our ball!
Yep we are those annoying souls who think we have power. We are those pesky souls who actually have power and are remembering our power!
The ball is not a golden bubble where nothing difficult happens by any means. Maybe one day it will be. What it is is a place of truth, love, transparency and authenticity. At the start, as we get used to it, we will still experience those things that make us sad and disappointed. But over time, and I don't know if that means decades or centuries, we will evolve past that because we will at that point be adept at this conscious creation thing.
Damn that high-frequency energy that entered the planet. The powers that were really, truly, genuinely thought they could stop it, or at the very least harness it and use it for their own purposes. (C'mon, that's basic Energy Magic 101!)
For now, up and down emotions and all, if an expanding ball of truth, love, transparency and authenticity is where it all starts, then I'll take it.
Sorry. No. Not this time. Look, I'm having a bit of fun right now with this us and them business. It's really all light and shadow. We have it within us, and we have it in the world. We have it in the cosmos. The powers that were represent our own disowned power. At the end of the day, and at the end of this very long game, we are all brothers and sis-

The Druid Year Alban Eilir – Vernal Equinox/Easter Modern Tradition – 21 March 2016 Old Tradition - Sun at 00 degrees Aries – 20 March 2016
22
www.nourishpublication.com
For modern Druids most of the festivals are opportunities for our own personal development in accordance with the energies. Growth in the waxing part of the cycle, maturing in the ripening part of the cycle, removing that which doesn’t serve us in the waning part of the cycles, and rest and consolidation in the fallow part of the cycle. Alban Eilir is one of two times in the year when the length of day equals the length of night – an equinox. And as such one of the aspects of life we focus on is about trying to achieve balance. And as it is in the waxing part of the year, it is about maintaining balance during growth and increase.
Associations to Alban Eilir: Shamrock, Trefoil, Goddess Eostre, Hares, Eggs, Balance, equal-armed cross Depending where you are, the first green buds would start to appear around this time, and some shrubs begin to flower. It’s a time when birds that have flown south for winter begin to return to the land for the summer. The songbirds start singing, and the woodland flowers start to show. Some hibernating animals start to wake from their slumbers, and young queen bees would have to leave the hive and travel to set up a new hive. And at this time of the year the hares compete for mates and can be observed jumping, boxing, leaping, and generally acting a little crazy. Hence the saying ‘Mad as a March hare’.
Imbolc heralds the first signs of spring, so Alban Eilir heralds the height of Spring - its fertility and burgeoning of life. For Druids life is sacred. They believe that all of nature has life, and therefore all is sacred – rocks, water, air, fire, plants, animals, people, and so on. At this time of the year anything that represents that life, or creates life, is honoured.
The Legend of Ostara and the March Hare: Ostara, the Saxon Goddess of Dawn was believed to be responsible for bringing spring each year. One year she was late in arriving to find a pitiful little bird that lay dying, her wings frozen by the snow. Feeling very guilty she lovingly cradled the shivering creature and saved her life. But because of her frost-damaged wings she could no longer fly. Filled with compassion for her, the goddess Ostara turned her into a brown Hare. To keep her safe from hunters she made the hare fast and agile. And to remind her of her original form she gave her the ability to lay eggs on one day of the year – on the day when Ostara is celebrated – 21 March.
One of the symbols of this time is the equal armed cross, representing equal balance of the four elements that make up all life. Earth, Air (Light), Fire, Water. It is seen as the ending of the dark winter and the ‘resurrection’ of the Light. It is the rising Fire of life (Spirit). It is the fertile Earth and Waters which receive our seeds and grow to nourish and keep us. It is about being at the heart of cross and in balance and harmony with all things. Another symbol of this time is the Trefoil, a triple spiral, and symbol of the triple nature of the Goddess. It is similar in shape to the Shamrock’s three leafed form. For this reason, Shamrock is often worn or used to decorate at this time of year.
In many traditions around the world this time of year is connected to the egg, the archetypal symbol of fertility. Some traditions have Egg hunts, Egg rolling, Egg Dancing.
And just as in ancient times Druids will hold a ritual to honour the goddess Ostara, giving thanks for the Spring, the growing fertility of the earth, and to ask for blessings in the coming year.
What our ancestors did… Our ancestors would honour the goddess Ostara by decorating sacred places with spring flowers, lighting a bonfire, giving thanks at a dawn ritual, decorating eggs and giving them as gifts, giving gifts of chicks and young rabbits/hares. In ancient times dependence on, and interconnectedness with, Nature was the most important aspect of people’s lives. And in keeping with nature, it was considered the time of year when eligible young men and women would be looking for a mate. So this was the first of the ‘fertility’ festivals. In some parts the young people would decorate eggs in a way that would identify them. The young folks would leave a basket outside their door hoping for eggs to be left in it, and then they would take their eggs and leave them in the baskets of those they wanted to marry. So it is a time of declaring interest and affection.
Ways that you can honour the time… v Make and decorate papier-Mache eggs for home or as gifts v Decorate an Ostara tree – living tree, indoors or outdoors. (Shell Bells = Save and clean out half egg shells, pierce to add looped ribbon, decorate, then hang on tree branches) v Attend a public Ostara Rite v Family activities involving eggs – hard boil and decorate eggs, have an egg hunt, gift an egg (chocolate or something else in an egg shaped box. v Go out into nature and sprinkle harebell seeds – seeds are readily available online. v Help out in one of the Woodland Trust projects – or any local nature conservation project. v Read about the Goddess Ostara - learn from her.
A variation on this would be young men giving one egg to their love interest, and then receiving a response from them: Two eggs: meant she wasn’t interested. Three eggs: meant she might be interested. Four eggs: meant she intended to marry him for his money. Five eggs: meant she was madly in love.

When I feel a cold or flu coming on that seems to have made it past my Thieves® defenses, I head for the bathtub with my bottle of ginger essential oil in hand. I like my bath water super-hot, but with ginger I tone it down a couple of notches to ‘really warm.’ When the tub is three-quarters full I turn the water off and step in, then add 3-5 drops of ginger to the water and swirl it around. The goal is generally three, but I usually end up with a drop or two extra, so I go for the lesser amount to begin with. Then I turn off the lights, lie down in the tub and soak for about 20 minutes, or until the water begins to feel cool.
oil such as sweet almond or grapeseed. Test on a small patch of skin to make sure that you aren’t going to have a reaction. It can be used for digestive upsets by rubbing on the stomach and abdomen. The warmth makes it an ideal oil for use after a strenuous workout – your muscles will be so grateful! Ginger essential oil is also amazing in the kitchen, when cooking or baking. I have used it in a ginger-squash soup to add a touch more zing. I also make cranberry-ginger matrimonial squares using the oil. It is incredibly tasty, and a real switch from the traditional date squares. (I would be happy to share the recipe with Nourish readers.)
When I am done with the bath, I step out of the tub, dry off and head straight to my bed, where I curl up and drift off to sleep. It generally only takes one bath to knock whatever bug came calling into oblivion!
There are SO many applications for ginger essential oil – experiment with your oil. Blend it with other oils to create a personal blend. Ginger essential oil is much more intense that ginger root. A personal blend made with it will have a tantalizing note that will have people coming back for a second scent!
Cautionary notes: · This is not a good bath for someone with a heart condition – it speeds up circulation , heating the body up quickly and forcing the heart to suddenly beat quicker. Not a problem, in fact good for most of us, but err on the side of caution. If you do decide to have a bath anyway, start with a drop diluted in a half cup of water, and use half of that. It’s worth it to take it slow and experiment over time.
Enjoy this oil. Diffuse it, smell it, cook with it, play with it! Please – always remember to use only 3rd party certified therapeutic grade essential oils.
· Don’t go the ‘if this is good, more is better’ route – this is a powerful bath and you could have difficulty getting out of the tub!
Vera
· Drink LOTS of water, before and after this bath. You want to help your body flush out the toxins that are being released

Ginger essential oil can be very helpful for digestive ailments. I have made a rather strong mixture with two drops of the oil in about two cups of water. I then pour a quarter to a half a cup of that mix into my mug and top with more hot water. You can add a drop of lemon essential oil to make lemon ginger tea! Swirling a toothpick that has been dipped in the oil in hot water makes a great cuppa if you are looking for a quick fix. I love the taste, but some folks like to put a bit of honey with it. I enjoy the tea when the weather is cold and I’m feeling chilled – warms me right up! This is a “hot” oil. If you are going to use ginger topically, make sure that you have it well diluted in an organic carrier 29

Planetary Action Planet to watch for this month is Saturn as he moves into a Retrograde which initiates reflection on manifesting healthy boundaries.
Saturn… Our planet of boundaries, restrictions, limitations and possibly fear. Saturn is moving through Sagittarius, and will travel through this fiery optimistic energy for the next couple of years. Saturn in Sagittarius will help you infuse flexibility and passion into what you are manifesting, focus on healthy boundaries. Saturn continues on in Sagittarius where he will hunker down until December 20, 2017. Think quality over quantity. On the 26 th he stands still as this powerful force starts his long retrograde (inner spiral). This is a great time to review your organization skills. Mercury is the planet of creating the paperwork … but Saturn supports your ability to get organized. This inner spiral will last until the middle of August.
Double Whammy Days for the Month (personal planets with the moon) 8, 13, 14, 21, 29. Most Challenging days are 14, 29 … use short meditative breaks throughout the day – remember to breathe. Lots of great favorite Meditation or relaxed days for the Month – best days 12, 16, 26… Experiment with different types of meditation such as deep breathing - moving chi gong, walking, music, meditation - silence or guided, gentle yoga or soft stretching. Mercury, our planet of communication in all forms from old fashioned verbal & written to communication that travels on waves. Mercury moves from Aquarius to Pisces to Aries all this month – lightning speed … but don’t get fixated on the idea that yours is the only way for everyone.
Saturn conjunctions, squares and oppositions with the Moon for the Month –1, 8, 14, 21, 23, 29 … You may feel that life is hard work. STEP UP and MEET THE CHALLENGE!
Mercury squares and oppositions with the Moon for the Month – 4, 14, 23… Think before you speak, CHOOSE YOUR WORDS WISELY!
Uranus … Unleash your Genius, this is our planet of sudden ideas and change. Uranus is slowly moving through Aries – creating impulsive moments that focus on new and innovative ideas. Expect innovative ideas to inspire, new energy sources are available. Be a Rebel with a cause – let the radical inner changes – shine out into your environment!
Venus … our planet of Love, Security (which often shows up as monetary wants) and what we like to surround ourselves with (art, greenery, food, music, colour, sparkly things …). Venus moves from Aquarius to Pisces on the 11th – this is one of her favorite scripts to receive. Generous, Joyful, giving, receiving. Feel good about YOU!
Neptune … Our planet that dissolves boundaries and limitations. Neptune continues through Pisces so take care with experimentation of drugs and alcohol and Be MindFul of what you are creating that is connected to the collective. Take care not to over-indulge in the 7 deadly sins. Connect with a regular routine to your guides, healing angels, and observer self. Don’t forget to balance – with physical exercise or walks in the park and energetically grounding.
Venus squares and oppositions with the Moon for the Month – 14, 21, 29 … Heartache/domestic and security challenges. LOVE and EMBRACE LIFE anyway! Mars … Our planet of action, passion and anger. It is important for you to connect to and work with your Martian energy – utilizing healthy expressions of action. Mars from his power position in Scorpio to Sagittarius on the 5th. When he is in the sign of the wildfire - he can be a little bit unpredictable yet … put a little spring in your step.
The Dwarf Planets … Take care not to get caught up in the harsher side of these dwarfs – they may not have cleared their orbit of debris but they still pack a lot into their symbolic language. We have just begun the exploration of some of the newly discovered. Except for Ceres they are all very slow moving – change is slow and gradual.
Mars, watch squares, conjunctions and oppositions with the Moon for the Month – 13, 14, 20, 28 …Use Caution! Be careful of temper tantrums and accidents! RED LIGHT
Pluto… Our planet of change, control (ego) and power. Pluto slowly plods along moving through Capricorn – Pluto continues to push for change to our old and outworn patterns of dictatorship and inflexible leadership (although you will continue to feel the resistance. Let go of the need to control and simply BE a powerful advocate for change.
Jupiter… Our planet of growth, wisdom, opportunities and excess. Jupiter is very slow moving which allows us to settle in and grasp what opportunities are presenting themselves in your life. Jupiter continues his trek through Virgo focused this month on a Retrograde motion (inner spiral) don’t let yourself get overwhelmed with too many details. During this retrograde he will retrace his step to make sure no stone is unturned … if you missed out on any opportunities in the past they may be presented again. Utilize this time to further evaluate and support your goals by digging deep into your own well of inner wisdom.
Makemake… who brings quantum experiences and unexpected genius; is traveling at 02 degrees Libra – Retrograde (inner spiral) utilize this energy to go back and re-invest in structures that bring you to a new level of understanding in your relationship with the 36

the last quarter of the year (Solar Eclipse, Winter Solstice and New Year) this can provide insight into what needs to be completed over the next 6 months. To be forewarned is to be forearmed … you need to keep your emotional critic under control. Take time to look inward (contemplation) in order to tap into unexpected windows of opportunity.
Eris… only desires equality! This warrior goddess is a truly feminine version of Mars. Evoke and balance the warrior within, as she fearlessly moves through Aries (very slow moving). Haumea… who is the real catalyst for Transformation is currently in Libra. She brings a balance back to the goddess as she takes back her power on earth. Currently retrograding (inward spiral) use this time to complete inner transformations that you have been working on.
Opportunity vs. Organization (steps to complete) continues to be challenging. Put on the gloves and fight for what is rightfully yours. Utilizing inner-sight will help you decide what goals need to completed and what are simply pipe dreams such as collecting people, trinkets or luxuries – find real connection and meaning in your goals. Act quickly when these windows open in order to stabilize the energy using small adjustments that will align you to the right goals at the right time, and move you toward the finish line.
Ceres… loves the work or activity of the harvest, Continues to travel through Pisces. Time to harvest ideas and new ways of accomplishing old Spiritual tasks … Hi Ho Hi Ho … It’s off to meditation you go ;-).
Silverdisc … Solar/Lunar cycles Step outdoors and connect to your early evening sky, do it again in the early morning just as the Sun peaks out from the horizon, consciously wake from one dream and step into another. The lunar cycle is a monthly marker giving us a time line in which to complete old tasks, then birth the new. Connect to our genetic/ collective habits and patterns of our multi-dimensional bodies.

The New Moon - Solar Eclipse, March 7 at 5:55pm … 18 degrees 56’ Pisces. This is a more external expression – the impact our external environment has on our conscious and sub-conscious behaviors. Dynamic build toward something new and exciting. Snap-shot: You may find yourself giving more (time, money, energy) than you really have, so when it comes time to deliver what you have promised you may feel overwhelmed. Small and steady changes may start to present themselves but not without putting work and effort into them. Take care that your emotions do not get over heated, guard against unrealistic expectations. New major goals that you set over the next 6 months may seem like they need more time and money than you want to give them, take it slow and steady. Try not to overextend or over discuss. Pause - think - plan – meditate … before you act. The Full Moon – Lunar Eclipse, March 23 at 5:01am … 3 degrees 17’ Libra. A Crystal Reading for
March 2016
All nature is singing this month. Days grow longer, the earth begins the steady process of warming herself in order to prepare to nurture the seeds that have lain dormant through the winter. Now is the time for you to nurture the seeds that you planted during the late fall. Nurture your dreams, treat them gently… Dear ones, make the most of this month. Dance little dances, allow spring to whistle off your lips, to nurture everything that you are experiencing. This is the month to dance your dreams alive. Namasté

Week 1: March 1 – 5 – Rhodonite: This week your senses begin to come alive, answering the call of a warming earth. Seek out places that feed your soul – a woodland space filled with birdsong, streams rushing with the first of the spring melt, a garden with its rich smells and the first, busy insect life. Breathe in deep. Close your eyes and allow the sounds and scents, the fresh air to nurture the growing you.
Week 2: March 6 – 12 – Labradorite: Look to the stars this week. Go out if you are able, or sit in your quiet room and connect with them. Feel the electricity jump as they charge your system. This would be a good week to ground yourself before touching electrical components – computers, telephones, even fridges and microwaves. Remember to ground yourself periodically, although not densely. You need this charge, this boost to your energy field and your body. Help folks who aren’t aware to manage their own conductivity. As you teach, you become even more aware than before.
Week 3: March 13 – 19 – Petrified Wood: Standing in your power, feel the energy that is you radiate out from your core. Notice the levels and layers. See particularly how it affects your day-to-day dealings with the people around you. When you stand strong, you are capable of handling even the toughest situation with grace and aplomb. Courtesy is an act of courage – and you have it in spades!
Week 4: March 20 – 26 – Malachite: Green spaces are calling out for you. Answer the call. Go to a park, a hillside, your back yard – anywhere that there is a dense patch of green. Situate yourself so you can look at the sky through leaves newly formed. See the light energy that vibrates and flows from each one. Breathe deep of all this green. Breathe it deep into your lungs, into your heart, into your very soul. Surrender to the joy that is spring.
Week 5: March 27 – 31 – Azurite: Pour yourself into blue this week. Make a point of being where you can see the sky as it begins to turn into this incredible azure – that brief, beautiful moment between day and night. As you stand there gazing, draw the azure into you. Pull it in, allow it to dance your genes. Celebrate this gift by looking into the eyes of a stranger and smiling. Carry it with you to work, to play, to your children, to your mate. You are truly beginning to grow.

new Moon
March 8
The New Moon in March arrives at 5:55 pm PST on the 8th. This new moon is especially powerful as we have the added power of a Solar eclipse. New Moons are the ending of one cycle and the beginning of the next, solar eclipses are the same – one cycle ends and the next begins. Solar eclipses bring deep healing on a soul level. It can be wounds from your past or something that has been causing challenges more recently, or something yet to come. The wonderful aspect of this is that while there may be some pain within this healing it brings freedom. New moons are used to bring something to us. If we look at this, from the perspective of March being a fresh month that ushers in spring we can use this to our advantage. It is important to note that the energy from this moon will be with us for the next six months. Right up to the Full Moon in September, when it will next be in Pisces with a Lunar eclipse. Think of this New Moon as the opening, and the September Full Moon as the closing. So, how best to navigate this New Moon and the energy that she will bring? With non-action, non-doing. Take a page from Pisces and go with the flow, no matter which way it is flowing. Pisces is the intuitive sign in the zodiac, they trust the currents of life to take them where they need to be. They go between the worlds with ease – one foot in reality and the other in the unseen. When a solar eclipse happens the moon gets between the sun and the earth, which expresses itself as our ego or self-importance (Sun) being blocked. We are given a brief moment of sacred space to ride the wave of divinely guided inspiration via our higher self, unhindered by our minds questioning what is being given. Well, that is to say, if we choose this to be.
45
On this New Moon day take some time near water to perform a meditation whereby you focus on the water, the sounds around you, and bring peace into your body. Relax into the space around you and feel calm. Once you have achieved this calm, allow your thoughts of the day and life to drain from you and enter the earth through your feet. Sit with your mind empty and see what inspiration comes to you from your higher-self. Take as much time as this feels comfortable and safe. If your mind starts chattering and you don’t feel you have received inspiration, quiet it by simply saying “thank you for your thoughts, I will attend to them later.” Your message might be a simple as one word, or more complex. Whatever the message you receive, write it down, for it will be your inspiration for the next 6 months. Your closing of one door to open the next on your personal journey to wholeness.
The potential this moon brings us is enormous, and we should each ride the wave of blessings it is giving us. To do so, it asks us to embrace the wound being presented for healing, in some countries the words wound and heal is the same – interesting and a great way for us to look at this. There is not to be any struggle or resistance to this, just the “take it easy” approach, giving ourselves time to heal. Be patient, self-disciplined and take responsibility. Forgive ourselves and others and treat all with respect –including you!

Full Moon
March 23 The full moon of March arrives in the sign of Libra on the 23rd at 5:01 am PDT. Traditionally, this moon is known as any of the following; Full Worm Moon, Full Crow Moon, Full Crust Moon, or Full Sap Moon. It is a rebirth time; earthworms appear, nourishing Robins who are building nests. There can still be cooler nights, but the sun appears longer each day and warms us gradually. Spring has returned for another year and we celebrate with our oohs and Ahhs as new growth appears.
be curious, explore how you interact with all your relationships. Don’t allow fear to stop you, because honestly, each relationship you have, be it with others or physical aspect – you created. You are in the driver’s seat and can shift whatever you are not happy with. For this moon plan to have some friends, family or just your significant other, over for dinner. Nothing is more healing than sharing a meal with those you love, along with a few laughs. Think about your menu in regards to your relationships, are they all sweet? Sour? Salty? Bland? Spicy? Try to prepare for each relationship, prepare it with love and understanding that it is an integral part of your life, just as each nourishes us in a specific way that is beneficial to our life. You can even make this more fun and ask each person coming to bring the dish that represents one of their relationships they would like to work on shifting. Don’t forget the wine! Enjoy this evening and before you turn in for the night, spend a few moments with the moon. Give thanks for the help being offered to you as you balance your relationships.
This Full Moon is especially potent, as there will be a total Lunar Eclipse, expect the energy to focus your attention on all your relationships. Not just your relationships with other humans – lovers, family, friends, but also your relationships with – finances, career, health. Our emotions and instincts reach their peak during a lunar eclipse, and this is very beneficial to all of us as we can take a balanced look at our personal relationships. During a lunar eclipse the Moon is blotted out by the Sun. A spectacular sight to see as the moon appears red in the sky. What it means energetically for each of us is a resetting of emotions. Clearing the emotional baggage we have been carrying with us. Sounds pretty fantastic, right? There is one codicil, like yeah, nothing ever comes for free, but if we are willing to just simply allow this emotional clearing to take place – no matter how grungy it gets or looks- we can set in motion a rebirth of our relationships – probably the most important one being with ourselves. The codicil – this energy will be with us for the next six months, yup right up until the lunar eclipse in September. You can relax though, this is not a harsh vengeful energy, it is more of the gentle social butterfly energy. You will have clearer thinking, and will be able to share your thoughts and ideas in a manner that will not get everyone’s defenses up, but rather affect change in a positive way. In other words, 46

You are whole just as you are
As I asked what the power animal of the month was worm came to mind. As worm wriggles in, their message to us is:
“Regenerate and purify yourselves. Nurture yourselves, find your strength and grounding. Find grounding in Mother earth and nature around you, let her purify you. Wriggle around and dig for those illusions that are holding you back and then let them go in love. You are strong and can wriggle out of your difficult situations by seeing yourself with self compassion and love by loving all of you, flaws and all. You are WHOLE just as you are, for you came from the purity of “Creation “and who you really are is love. Nurture yourself and regenerate yourself in love.” Yours in purity and love The Worms

Hello Dear Ones,
We would like to wish you happy challenging times. Yes, we can hear the collective “What?” That is flowing back to us. What do we mean by happy challenging times? Challenging times means you are growing, though it may not be comfortable for you. Growing is always a cause to celebrate for when you humans celebrate something it is usually happy. So why not look at your growth as a happy thing, as opposed to “oh my god not again?” It’s just a different perspective is all. Yes, we do understand challenges can be just that and not easy for many to navigate within them. However, with a different perspective, there might be moments within the challenge to celebrate. You have a fear within your challenge and you face that fear for a few minutes and do what you are fearful of doing. Oh, look a happy moment within it to be celebrated, you did it, even for just a few moments!! Now what if you are stuck in your challenge and it’s fearful, uncomfortable and anxiety causing? How can you make it so it is seen as a positive thing? Perhaps, the perspective needed is one of self compassion and love. This will help you see yourself within a deeper perspective within the challenge you are going through and see that there is a light within you that will guide you. It may also help you to see how you can see your happy moments to celebrate within it and yourself. Celebrating the growth in your challenging moments. ArchAngel Raphael

Hello my friends. We have made it to March and as you can see from the runes I was led to draw, this is a very powerful and positive cast.
Dagaz - Day is the gods' messenger, The light of the gods, Is happiness and consolidation To rich and poor.
The first rune is Dagaz. It is the dawn, a new day, a new start. This is what we have been building towards. The Northern Europeans believed that Ostara was the beginning of the new year as they were finally coming out of the long winter months. It was the Christian monks that changed the beginning of the year. The vegetables and grains were ready to plant, trees were in bud, animals were ready to have offspring, everything was looking new and fresh.
Ansuz - Mouth is the origin of speech, The support of wisdom, And for everyone a blessing. Sowilo - Sun to the seafarer, Is always confidence of nobles, It is ever moving And in the darkness Of night never rests.
The second rune is Ansuz. Ansuz represents the mouth and is a rune of enlightenment, oral tradition, and great wisdom. This wisdom and enlightenment was usually passed down from the elders and was highly regarded by the tribe.
Each rune has a stanza and I believe I will include them in all subsequence readings.
The third rune is Sowilo, the sun rune. It represents victory and great power. It is the solar wheel and the magickal will that is active throughout the multiverse. Sowilo is the spiritual force that guides the vitki through the paths of Yggdrasil. It also is the dynamic connection between Midg책rd and Asg책rd.
I am truly heartened by this reading, as I believe it shows that what we have been striving for, a change in world politics, wealth distribution, and a more sympathetic attitude to the people on this planet that need our help. No longer can we sit idly by and watch the wealthiest control everything that happens on the Earth.
The main source of information on the runes comes from an Angle-Saxon poem which was translated first by monks from Old English to Latin and then to modern English by Thomas Howard.
Changes are coming and we either accept those changes or get swept away. Until next month, sk책l min vens
Here are the stanzas that relate to the three runes drawn and which we should meditate on to understand the true meaning:

Message from the Angels March 2016
Hello beloveds, Can you feel it? The welcome change that is being blown in on winds. A palatable shift. Yet, as with all shifts and changes, not all will be happy with how it looks when it arrives. There will be anger spewed in many directions, there will also be disbelief and sorrow. We give you this as a heads up so that you may hold the faith. Do not lower your vibration into fear. Hold strong and fast in your knowing and faith that all change is for the better. No matter what outside appearances look like, soon the true colors of this change and shift will shine forth.
Stand back and give your desire the space it needs in order to blossom. Truly, you are being the change you wish to see in the world, and your efforts are celebrated here on this side. You are now entering a time when many unseen buds will begin to bloom. Embrace this time for what it is, special, and remember each of you are deserving of the good that is coming your way.
Blessings the power of three Through Mcobb
Everything happens exactly when it needs to. There is no point in trying to rush it, or force it to happen. When the timing is right, all flows into place. There is a gentleness in allowing things to follow a natural process. Let go of any illusion of control you may have, for really there are so many variables at play that you don’t have control anyway. When you can relax and be patient, you will gain insight which will bring clarity on the steps that are required. Pushing or forcing things to happen before their time means you are giving away your power. It is your fear that it will not happen that urges you to push and force. All that is required is faith that at the right time all will be revealed. Even in the most barren of places, new growth blossoms, giving a gentle reminder that there is always hope. The new blossoms shine brightly, and often stands out all the more in the contrast of what is happening around them. Seek solitude when you feel overwhelmed and reflect on how the darkest moments you have known in your life had a ray of bright light show up exactly when you needed it. Renewal, rebirth, refreshed. No matter what you have been working towards, now is the time to let it go. We are not asking you to give up. Just let the fear go, along with controlling or manipulating impulses. 58
