he past week at The Education Space has taught us various skills in living the day-to-day office life. Our time here has been eye-opening, enjoyable and beneficial. On the first day, we attended a team meeting with the Business Development team. This broadened our horizons by experiencing a team discussion which were full of diverse ideas. We also learnt to use communication skills such as when introducing ourselves to the team and

Later on, we researched articles about knife crime in order to create a new social media campaign - in partnership with Votes for Schools.

After the training, we learnt how to use another digital platform called SLA online. This platform allowed us to organise and manage different school data. At first the idea was hard to grasp, but we became familiar with using the site.

On our final day, we evaluated the whole week at The Education Space and created an article on our time spent here. Through the process of this work experience we assimilated numerous skills which would be of significant use in our future careers.
The Education Space would like to thank Amirah and Nishat for their hard work throughout the week. Their commitment and smiles brought joy to our office and we wish them the very best for their bright futures.

Godwin’s drive to improve the environment was further boosted by a grant from Newham’s ‘Let’s get the Party Started’ community event fund. This money financed the school’s second ‘Big Dig’ Saturday, which saw parents and children rolling up their sleeves and brighten up the front of the school by planting flowers and shrubs. Parent, Glen Pearce said, “These events fostered a really nice community feel and gave us all a sense of putting something back in to the school.” Mother, Vita Zorge added, “It reminds us all that we need to come together and make the world a better place for our children.”
