Past Events - Service Spotlight Norwood-Norfolk High School (Division 24) A Car Show was held at the Norwood Park on July 31st. Key clubbers helped out Kiwanis with small errands, games, and the concession stand. Going from 10am to 2pm we had 3 key clubbers attend, including myself, and the event was generally very fun. We mainly hosted small mini games for the kids which include ring toss, ball toss, and corn hole bag toss. All very easy games of course, and we gave out candy to anyone who participated. It was nice being able to interact with the kids and even the parents got in on the fun. The three of us would also take turns bringing a poster around the show to advertise for the Kiwanis concession. Although this might seem awkward, it was actually very fun talking with people about not only concession but also the cars and such. It gave us time to see the cars for ourselves and get food as the day progressed. I’m glad we had the opportunity to help out with this event.
