DIVISION 24 - NOVEMBER NEWSLETTER

Lieutenant Governor's Greeting Hi Key Clubbers!! Happy November and happy fall!! I hope all of your clubs are doing fantastic. The District Board has a board meeting this weekend, and I’m super excited to see everyone and then share with all of you what we discussed. District Fall Conference is this month and there’s still time to register!! It is being held virtually on November 20th. The last day to register is November 12th. More information and the registration link can be found later in the newsletter. If you know someone who would like to attend, be sure to share the link with them as well. This is an amazing event that you’re not going to want to miss, register today! As always, please remember to turn in your paperwork. Every month the number of MRFs being submitted drops. Make sure your club is up to date on all of your paperwork. ERFs were also due last month, but I have not received all of them yet. A paperwork tracker is attached later on in the newsletter. Please check it and see what your club has submitted. I hope you have a great day and enjoy the rest of the newsletter!

Yours in Service, Anna Scott Division 24 Lieutenant Governor

Past Events - Service Spotlight Carthage High School (Division 24)

For Halloween, the Carthage Key Club was asked to have a station at the Carthage Area Rescue Squad’s Truck or Treat. The event was held on October 29th at the Carthage Farmers’s Market and our job was to decorate a car and hand out candy to the children of the community so they can still get the Halloween experience whilst in a safe and controlled environment. There were nine members who showed up to participate. Five of those members stayed at our station and dispersed candy, and the other four stationed themselves in the Rescue Hall and ran the tye-dye station. Most of our volunteers were underclassmen and it’s exciting to see how willing they are to jump in and help the club, and based on their commitment for the events we’ve had so far, it is easy to see that we will have a strong club. The Rescue Squad was very thankful to have us there and we hope to be able to participate again next year! Written by: Rebecca Steiner, Carthage Key Club President

On October 12th, they hosted a campus clean up picking up trash around their school and community because of the homecoming events that caused the grounds to be full of litter.
