WELCOME TO OUR AUTUMN/WINTER SEASON BROCHURE! I am delighted to share with you details of our new season of performances and events at our two venues! The first few months at Westlands has been an exciting, busy and challenging time welcoming thousands of guests to our new venue while The Octagon is enjoying record attendance and a host of memorable performances. There are so many events to pick from we hope you’ll feel spoilt for choice. Our new Classical Concert Series brings you the finest musicians including a sensational concert from the Bournemouth Symphony Orchestra you won’t want to miss a single note. It just wouldn’t be Christmas without The Octagon pantomime and this year audiences will have

a ball with our biggest and most magical pantomime ever - Cinderella! All the staff and our Foyer Club volunteers look forward to welcoming you for a great experience of live entertainment. Do You Know A Talented Young Dancer? The Octagon Theatre Is Looking For Local Talent Join The Juvenile Ensemble Of Cinderella! The Octagon Theatre, in partnership with Evolution Pantomimes, is looking for girls to be part of the juvenile ensemble for the spectacular pantomime Cinderella this Christmas. The open audition will take place at Westlands Entertainment Venue at 1.30pm on Sunday 9 July 2017. To audition you must be between 9 - 15 years inclusive on 1 September 2017 and be no taller than 5ft 4. The audition will take approximately 2 hours but you may need to stay longer if you are successful. Bring water but no other food and drink. Come wearing comfortable clothes and soft/dance shoes. You’ll be taught a routine on the day. We require a total commitment to the pantomime from the rehearsal period to the full run of the performances: 26 November 2017 - 7 January 2018.
