Innovative and Critical Thinking

Workplace Culture

Leaders in both business and the non-profit sector must be creative and innovative in their approach to challenges and shifting priorities. Innovation necessitates renewing, changing or creating more effective processes, products or ways of doing things. Support the future of your organization by including innovation as a catalyst for the growth and success. Course code: MGR 428 Kel: Apr 2, Thu, 8:30 a.m. – 3 p.m. Pen: Mar 5, Thu, 8:30 a.m. – 3:30 p.m. Ver: Apr 29, Wed, 9 a.m. – 3:30 p.m.

The character and personality of your organization defines the workplace culture: it is what makes your organization unique and attractive (or not) to potential clients and future employees. Creating a positive workplace culture takes time, planning and effort to maintain but it is something every leader needs to make a priority. Workplace culture attracts talent, drives engagement, impacts happiness and satisfaction of both employees and clients and impacts performance, efficiency and profitability. Course code: MGR 431 Kel: Apr 23, Thu, 8:30 a.m. – 3 p.m. Pen: Mar 26, Thu, 8:30 a.m. – 3:30 p.m. Ver: May 20, Wed, 9 a.m. – 3:30 p.m.

Negotiating in the Workplace Everyone negotiates, whether it’s with friends, family or coworkers. The question isn’t whether you negotiate, but how well do you negotiate? If you are curious how to do it better, start by learning these skills and the tactics. Poor negotiations or a lack of negotiating skills can impact the bottom line and ruin customer relationships. They’ll come in handy the next time you broker a compromise at work, at home or even on vacation.
