Our week-long educational day camps are full of interactive experiences, fun and adventure for youth. Campers enjoy small class sizes with experienced instructors. OC’s Amazing Race™ - The World is Waiting for You!

This is the ultimate team camp! Join us for a week full of races, detours, challenges, clues and road blocks. Work together to create a series of legs, research customs and cultures, build challenges and think of clever clues. As the week progresses we will shape the race and on Friday, get ready for the big competition.

CSI™ meets OC

Get ready to unravel the mysteries behind forensic science and discover the many ways police use it to lock up criminals. Visit the College’s science lab and the campus security office, where you will use your investigative minds to try and solve the many mysteries at Okanagan College. You and your CSI partners will analyze suspects’ fingerprints and DNA. The mysteries are waiting for you.

The Wizardly World of Potter™

Welcome campers! You have been accepted to Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. Get sorted into your house, join the dueling club, decipher hidden messages, play Quidditch and of course, work towards winning the Hogwarts House Cup! Craft amazing potions that bubble, boil and fizz. Even bring home your own wand that Ollivander would be proud of. This week will be full of magic!

Animation Stop Motion Camp de Création

Create your very own unique mini movie that you can take home with you at the end of the week. Get hands-on techniques in stop motion animation and film-making in this cool camp.

Learn the principles of photography, record your own sounds and bring it all together with video editing software. Bring your creative mind and let’s get started!

*This camp is offered in French and will require fluency in French at the Grade 4-6 level.

What to Bring to Camp Please have your child bring a lunch and snacks to camp. Due to allergies, please do not include any nut snacks. Be sure to make note of allergies or a special diet on the Camp OC Informed Parental Consent form. Campers should dress in weather appropriate play clothes and should bring a hat, running shoes, sunscreen and water bottle. If your child’s camp requires additional items they will be listed on their registration form.

Refund Policy To withdraw from a camp, contact us by phone, email or in person. Full refunds will be given if the request to withdraw is made at least five business days in advance of the camp start date. Requests made less than five business days in advance of the camp start date, will be refunded 50 per cent of the registration fee. No refunds are given after the camp start date or for days missed. Refunds can take between two and four weeks to process and will be mailed in the form of a cheque.

Extreme Survivor™ Challenge

Are you up for a challenge? Do you think you have the brain power to figure out the puzzle? Do you think you can hurdle past your opponents to win? Can you eat the mystery blender drink? Do you have what it takes to be a team player? Come join us for a week of races, puzzles, obstacle courses and endurance challenges.

The Informed Parental Consent Form will be emailed to you after registering your child. Please fill it out as soon as it is received.

If your child will be absent, please notify camp staff by calling 250-832-2126. It is the parent’s responsibility to make sure that their child gets signed in at the beginning of camp. You will not be notified if your child is absent from the program.

Our Commitment to You Camp OC is committed to offering your child a fun, safe and educational experience. We will make every effort to ensure that your child’s camp experience is positive by providing quality content, instructors and facilities. If something is not meeting your expectations, please let us know as soon as possible and we will do our best to fix the situation.

Behaviour and No Bullying Policy Okanagan College expects all campers to behave in a respectful way towards other campers, camp staff, equipment and camp facilities.

Parents will be notified if their child’s behaviour is inappropriate. If the inappropriate behaviour continues, Okanagan College holds the right to remove the child from camp, without a refund.

Photo/Video Release Please make sure to read Camp OC’s photo and video release policy. It can be found under FAQ’s in the website as well as on the Informed Parental Consent Form.

Informed Parental Consent Form The Informed Parental Consent Form will be emailed to you right after you register your child for camp. Please make sure to read it, fill it out and submit it at least two weeks prior to camp starting.
