(the things that we do) One of Okanagan College’s key directions is working with, and learning from, the Indigenous community. The College is dedicated to providing culturally relevant support to Aboriginal students as they journey toward their personal, educational and career goals. Each year the College hosts a powwow, Aboriginal Career Fairs, recognition ceremonies and other cultural events. Thoughtful Aboriginal spaces can be found on each campus including Indigenous outdoor gardens – the na’ʔk’wulam n and k’nmalka sә nqâltә n gardens – that celebrate and recognize the traditional ways and knowledge of the Indigenous peoples of the region. Okanagan College respectfully acknowledges that our Penticton, Kelowna and Vernon campuses are located on the traditional and unceded territory of the Syilx-Okanagan people and our Salmon Arm campus is located on the traditional and unceded territory of the Secwepemc people.

THE OC ADVANTAGE We are a community of learning, rich with cultural diversity and academic support. With smaller class sizes, industryexperienced professors, hands-on learning with co-op and practicum opportunities, and affordable tuition, we put learner success at the heart of everything we do. That’s what we like to call the OC advantage. At Okanagan College, we are dedicated to providing the skills, training and education to help achieve your goals. We are proud to offer courses and programs in a wide range of subject areas to best meet your needs.
