Georgian
Georgian is a more elegant style. There are usually two or three stories with large, symmetric windows and a gable roof. There are usually pilasters and pediments.

Federal
Federal is more of a simple, square, or rectangular style. The name was named after the Federal Government. There is usually two to three stories.

Italianate is a very neutral style. Colors are not very bright when it comes to this style. The roofs are usually over hanging.

The Colonial Revival was influenced by several architectural styles. It was influenced by Federal, Cape-Cod, and Salt Box. This style consists of shutters, chimneys, and roofs with windows.

The key point of a Craftsman house is the different building materials used to build the house. They usually have large porches. Another key point is the decorative beams.
