founded by her sister, Ariana Huffington, to help change the way we work and live. She divided her time between New York and Los Angeles and was born and raised in Athens, Greece. You may find her at www.wakeupthejoyofyou.com Agapi Stassinopoulos: What a beautiful introduction. My goodness, I had the chills. I am thrilled, and it is wonderful to be with you and all our listeners all over the world. VICTOR FUHRMAN: So, let us share a little of your path with our listeners who are meeting you for the first time. How did you wake up to the “Joy of You?” Agapi Stassinopoulos, says there is

and shares the path she has found in her new book “Wake Up to the Joy of You – 52 Meditations and Practices for a Calmer, Happier Life Agapi Stassinopoulos is a best-selling author and speaker who inspires audiences around the world. In her previous book “Unbinding the Heart – A dose of Greek Wisdom, Generosity and Unconditional Love” she shares the wisdom of her life’s adventures and experiences. Agapi Stassinopoulos was trained in London at the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art and then moved on to receive her Master’s Degree in Psychology from the University of Santa Monica. Her previous books on the Greek Archetypes, Gods and Goddesses in Love, and conversations with the Goddesses were turned into a PBS Special. She is currently conducting workshops for Thrive Go Global, a company OMTimes.com

Agapi Stassinopoulos: It is a process. It was a process, and it was a process of really going through what I call my underworld. You know, the Goddess Persephone, are you familiar with the myth? So, Persephone was kidnapped by Hades and went into the Underworld and lived in darkness for quite a while. She was innocent and playing in the fields when Hades kidnapped her, and her Mother, Demeter, just created havoc with Zeus because Zeus was in cahoots with Hades to kidnap Persephone. Finally, he was able to bring the daughter back because she threatened to bring famine to the earth. The Goddess Demeter was the Goddess of the Earth. Why I say the myth to the listeners is to re-orient ourselves as we all go through the process of discovery by going into the underworld, and an underworld is a place where we feel

we are devoid of light. We go into sadness, to separation and a feeling of abandonment, a feeling of not belonging, a feeling of separation, and a feeling of actually not fitting in anywhere and not knowing who we are and what is our purpose in life. I do not really know any human being who does not at some point in their lives unless they are living on automatic, that does not go through that questioning. Then, in my last book, “Unbinding the Heart,” I wrote the life story of what happened to me from that moment on when I woke up and had an epiphany. I literally had a spiritual experience called Hit by the Light. At 5:20 AM on one bright morning, the light came into my bedroom in a hotel. I had fallen asleep and was awakened by an inner and outer light, and I had an epiphany where I fell on my knees weeping as if something had hit me, saying I know, I know, I am a child of God. It was an extraordinary moment that shaped my life. It was a blessed moment, and it was a moment that led me to the unfoldment of my spiritual path. Sure enough, through a series of synchronicities, I met my Teacher, John Roger, who deceased two years ago, in Los Angeles at the Center there called Prana. It is actually in South L.A. It is a beautiful Ashram, and when I met my Teacher he hugged me, and he said: “Welcome home.” So, I found my Teacher, and I found my path, but then I had many ebbs and flows and peaks and valleys of how then I found Agapi. I must say that why I wrote “Wake Up to the Joy of You” is because after all the years OMTimes.com

of writing books, of disappointments, of successes, and things not working out, there was a constant evolution. I returned to a place where my heart got unbound, my heart got opened, and I did a lot of inner work. That is why I did 52 Chapters is because I wanted to give people little bites, nuggets, of saying: “OK, let us look at how you love yourself. Let us look at how you overcome disappointment, and let us look at how you deal with negative people in your life. Let us look at how do you handle your emotions? Let us look at what does it mean to do nothing and to enjoy that? How do you find your creativity? How do you live in gratitude?” Every single subject in this book is what I learned for myself from my life, from my Teachers and every single chapter. It is very human, it is very real. VICTOR

FUHRMAN: You talked about listening to that inner voice, the divine, to God as we understand God on a personal level. Why are so many people afraid to listen?

Agapi Stassinopoulos: Well, that takes practice, and I think how you listen is in a way the allowing and sometimes when you go in, and people often say I go to meditate and I do not hear anything, or there is noone there. It is not that there is no-one there, it is that the soul and the spirit are invisible and you have to sort of make a lot of room. Because we are so filled with judgments about ourselves, unconsciously and consciously we are always judging ourselves or judging each other.

These judgments create darkness and the fear of not becoming something, not being someone, the fear is the worst thing we do as human beings because when we start to live in fear. Shakespeare said: “Our doubts become the obstacles in our lives that stop us from even attempting.” So, this is where companionship and friendship and community comes, and that is why spiritual Satsang with other spiritual beings. Let us open up the field, support groups, conversations, dinners where people say: “How are you feeling?” “What are you struggling with?” “What can I help you with?” and opening up the conversation. So, why I wrote the book is because whatever I went through, people are going through. Now people read my book and say: “Oh, my God, everything you said I relate to.” Of course, you relate to it because we are human beings and we all go through the same things.

such access to seeing all these teachers and practices and it is everywhere. In the East, I think, people are more turning to spirituality. So now there is this merging and it is beautiful to see, but I also say to people watch out, because people can start meditating and going to India and coming back and saying I am a Teacher now.

VICTOR FUHRMAN: Your book is called “Wake Up to the Joy of You.” It is 52 meditations. Let us talk about meditation. People are rediscovering meditation and mindfulness today. Why do you think that is?

VICTOR FUHRMAN: Agapi, how can our listeners find out more about you?

Agapi Stassinopoulos: I think it is because there is a spiritual awakening happening on planet earth. The light is coming in stronger than ever, and that is partly why the darkness is being unearthed. The light comes in, and the darkness is unearthed and evoked, and you feel it all around you. I think people are longing more than at any time to reconnect, and because also media and the internet and because we have OMTimes.com

I say, if you can breathe, you can meditate. It is as simple as that because meditation is really following the practice. It is like if you have legs, you can walk. If you can breathe you can meditate, because meditation is about following the breath, telling the mind that it is really about focusing the mind on the breath, and then allowing the mind to go through its disturbances and its “got to do, got to do”, and going beyond that to find the space beyond the mind that is quiet, that is present and that has a lot of connection with the source.

Agapi Stassinopoulos: So, they go to my website: http://wakeuptothejoyofyou.com and there they will see more of my videos, more of my blogs, more of my books. They can order from Amazon, from Barnes & Noble. They can buy the book from any bookstore, and if you go to my website you can click, and it will take you straight to Amazon and Barnes & Noble and all the wonderful online communities. Then, they can also follow me on FaceBook at agapistassinopoulos. I post a lot of my events, I post about

my inspirational quotes, I interact with the people who send me comments, and they can follow me on Instagram under agapisees and on Twitter under AgapiSays. VICTOR FUHRMAN: What practices

do you offer readers in your book about that? Agapi Stassinopoulos: I have guided meditations. I have action steps. I have journal writing. I have freeform writing. I have found a good course about healing and finding a coach or a therapist. I think therapy can prolong things sometimes, so there are some amazing courses. I found some Insight Seminars that I take in Los Angeles were amazing to really go into a place or where you can heal it. You can try it, and you can bring the loving and the spirit and move a way forward. So, once you decide that you want to work on something, and then as you beautifully said, the Teachers will find you, the solutions will find you, the people will find you, and always share and say: “You know I am working on these. I would like to find someone who can help me. Do you have any ideas?” and you would be amazed at the resource out there.

I guess what happened to us, what someone did or did not do, and then we blame ourselves that there is something wrong with me that this happened or this did not happen, or I am not good enough. It is like I have this chapter, which I know you love, it is called “Enough of Not Feeling Enough.” Enough of feeling there is something wrong with you. There is nothing wrong with you, and there is nothing wrong with us. We are in the process of discovery and evolution and becoming a self-realized person. It is a lifetime, a long-life process.

VICTOR FUHRMAN: How important

is forgiveness, both of the perceived hurter and for yourself in overcoming your childhood? Agapi Stassinopoulos: Oh, my God. Forgiveness is amazing. I do not know what I would do without forgiveness. Forgiveness of self, forgiveness of life, forgiveness of others. I think, Victor, the judgments that we place against ourselves, and OMTimes.com

VICTOR FUHRMAN: What advice

do you give to folks who are seeking a partner, who are seeking a relationship? Agapi Stassinopoulos: : I say, let the love find you by becoming a lover of life daily. So, if you are coming from

a place of “Oh, I do not have someone to love me, to hug me, to adore me and share my life with. Therefore I have to find that person to bring worthiness to myself,” that is the wrong approach. If you say: “I am completing and loving myself, and I am rejoicing in who I am, and I do good things for myself, and I do good things with people I love, and I find people I love, and I am open and my heart is open to having a partner in my life, to have the perfect match for me”, and you come from a place of abundance rather than scarcity, that if it is yours to be it will be.

VICTOR FUHRMAN: Thank you for sharing that with our readers, and that is one of 52 amazing Meditations in Agapi’s book “Wake Up to the Joy of You.” Agapi, in your book you speak a lot about gratitude. How is that an element of a happier life? Agapi Stassinopoulos: Gratitude. Well, gratitude is something that we should live in 24/7. You know, our own breath, being our breath, you just have to see what people go through when they cannot breathe, and it is so suffocating. Just to live in gratitude for breathing, and I think gratitude transforms everything. It transforms your thoughts, transforms your emotions when they are in turmoil, and transforms everything. So, to live in gratitude is really the only way to live. I mean, we take so many things for granted, Victor. I say: “Be grateful that you can turn on the faucet and there is water.” Be grateful that you OMTimes.com

walk on the ground and the ground is safe. Be grateful that your cell phone is working. Be grateful that you have hair.” I have a Chapter in the book about gratitude and reverence, and I write this experience – we do not have a lot of time to say – but about how I was moved into learning about gratitude, and when you are in gratitude you walk around saying thank you to life. “Thank you for the air, thank you for the people I see and thank you for my eyes that see. Thank you for the curtains that I see in front of me, thank you for the subway, thank you for the cars, thank you for the freeways, thank you for the oranges I am eating, thank you for water, thank you for food, thank you for Restaurants, thank you for movies. Thank you for so many things.” Thank you for having eyes and nose and ears, and going to this place of knowing that your own body needs to be thanked because there are 37.2 trillion cells in our bodies and they are making a life for us, and we never thank them. Disengaging the Addictive Control in an Addicted Society by Crystal Presence

Disengaging from Addictive Control and Lying We know we are in the biggest shift in human consciousness, and also strive to be part of the resolution. Yet, with all our good intentions, we find Omtimes.com

ourselves repeating what we know is part of the problem. We engage in our old controlling and addictive ways of thinking, feeling, and behaving. When we get honest with ourselves, we admit to the voice inside telling us we are lying as a way to tolerate our lives. We love the idea of letting go and going with the flow. At the same time, we fear that our lives will fall apart and we will end up alone and die if we disengage from the addictive control.

Addictive Control and Our Feelings of Powerlessness Control has become the culturally acceptable way of dealing with our feelings of powerlessness. We also sense the pervasiveness of how it affects our lives and our world. We look for pathways to create a new context of living and know we will be happier and healthier when we can do the following: • Remain present and honest with ourselves. • Admit when the jobs we

have are not right for us. • Spend our days doing the things we love to do. • Spend more time with the people we love. • Take better care of ourselves. Let go of thinking what we should do, and allow ourselves to follow our internal guidance system.

The Invitation of Addiction in Society Ann Wilson Schaef, author of “When Society Becomes an Addict” says, “Not only does our society invite addiction, it requires addiction to tolerate the society we have created”. Addiction is how we distract, control and disconnect ourselves from the truth of what we are really thinking, feeling and doing. When we feel powerlessness to stop the addiction, we are tempted to lie about it. Whether it is an ingestive addiction (drugs, nicotine, alcohol, etc.) or a process addiction (obsessive thinking, worrying, self-generated feelings, money etc.), addiction Omtimes.com

interferes with our natural life processes. It interferes with our thinking, feeling and internal guidance system that is our natural way of knowing what is good for us.

How Do Addictions Erode Our Sense of Connection? The following are how addictions erode our connection with ourselves and others: Dishonesty: Lying to ourselves and others. Self-Centeredness: Thinking, feeling and behaving in ways that are motivated out of our need to control everyone and everything. Believing that others are either for or against us. Illusion of Control: Thinking we can be in control of everyone and everything. Notice how these very same addictive choices are rampant in our politics, media, education, corporations, medical institutions and other aspects of our society. Most of us can relate to this; however, we find it elusive to grasp the subtle and pervasive ways that Omtimes.com

addiction has a grip on us. We wonder how to know if we are addicted. The simplest answer is that we know. Intimacy with ourselves is the key to disengaging from the addictive control. People fear that letting go of addiction will be hard. The truth, however, is that trying to keep everything under control is the hardest and most destructive thing we can do to ourselves. Disengaging from the addictive control is one of the easiest most natural things we can do.

So, How Do We Disengage from Addictive Control? The following are some of the ways we can disengage and free ourselves from the addictive control: • Cultivate the awareness that we are literally connected to all that is. • Realize that we are vast multidimensional beings connected to the loving source that is creating us. • Admit and feel any powerlessness. • Engage in enjoyable

movement to keep our energy flowing and open to change. • Spend time with ourselves. • Let go of thinking that life is static and it is our responsibility to get it under control. • Become aware of any addictive control plans we use to keep selecting, distorting and provoking our reality so we can prove to ourselves that we need to stay in addictive control to survive. • Release ourselves and others as objects that need controlling or fixing. • Let go of any addictive intellectual constructs, methodologies, interpretations, rational or logical constructs that keep us fixated in an old context of living. • Connect with our internal guidance system to find the way to what is best for us. • Let go of trying to be perfect, right and done. • Allow our life process to unfold and reveal itself in the

perfect time, place and form. • Surround ourselves others who also want to join us in the journey. • Be aware of the withdrawal experience. Keep our energy moving to allow space for the old habits to dissolve, resolve and evolve. • Receive our power to cocreate with our loving source the lives of joy, creativity, fun, ease, abundance and wellness we want. Juggling Life to Create a Better Balance by John Holland

We are all looking for better balance. How many times have you heard yourself say: “If only I had a few minutes to myself?” It can certainly be a crazy world, juggling family needs, work needs, friends, loved ones, and of course yourself. Sometimes, it’s never ending

Omtimes.com

with one thing after another. It could be taking one of the kids to a sports lesson, doing the shopping, the laundry…let alone the daily routine of work. It’s easy to feel drained and to lose that special connection with your inner-life force.

Not Perfect, and Not in Balance I am not going to say that I’m perfect at balancing my life, as what I call “stuff” gets in the way. Recently I have had a few weeks, when it’s been one thing after another. Starting with the boiler requiring a major overhaul, then snow clearing, and other maintenance issues, as well as the usual car service. Next came some follow up medical treatments for myself, as well as for my dog Koda, and so on …all of which impacts on my daily routine. If this sounds anything like your own schedule, that it’s time to take a leaf out of Buddha’s book and insist that

you carve out an hour a day for your own self-care. He did just that - he used one hour a day for himself, each and every day. Of course, it may not be possible every day, as there are times like having a baby or when you’re feeling poorly, that it’s not possible. But, in general, it is worth setting some boundaries around your daily schedule to integrate some self-care into the mix.

Self-Care for Health and Better Balance You’ve heard me talk often about the need for selfcare. It was only after my last few weeks, after having completed some physical therapy treatments on a shoulder injury, that I was finally able to get back to the routine of going to the gym at least three times a week. This not only helps strengthen the body, feeds the muscles and promotes a feeling of vitality, but it nurtures the soul. It sends out a message that you’re taking care of yourself,

Omtimes.com

your body, mind, and soul.

JOHN’S LESSON This week, my lesson is simple: STOP. Yes, stop what you’re doing and sit down for five minutes and make a list of what you have to do every week as routine. It’s a good idea to make that list in two columns. The left column could be those essential things that you have to do. The right-hand column would be all the other things you do. Maybe someone else could do these for some weeks, or see if there are things that could be grouped together. Some of those things could be done bi-weekly instead of every week. Once you have that list, try and find some gaps and use those times for your selfcare time. I recommend an hour - but if you can’t commit to that, do what you can. It’s making the effort that’s important. Don’t forget that there are two sides, one being internal (mind, heart

Omtimes.com

and health) and the second being external (work, social, family, leisure, etc.). When you’re taking that important self-care time, consider in one session focusing on the internal so you challenge yourself intellectually. Feed your heart with the love you get from others, and set an achievable goal do some exercise that week. Then, when you do the next session, focus on better balance of the external. Set some goals for work, make a date to see a friend you’ve not seen in a while, spend time with the family and, most importantly, have some fun! Make time for something you love doing, and enjoy it. Is It Time for a Soul Healing? by Maggie Chula

Soul Healing May be Just What We Need Is mankind on a path to annihilation and the destruction of earth? Or, are we at a point where we need to heal our connection to God and also understand ourselves as soul beings? Omtimes.com

We are at a point in our existence where we can witness the destruction we have caused Earth. Our soul wisdom is asking us to view this path to extinction for so many species including ourselves. We are also called to recognize our responsibilities and consciously adjust our actions. Thus, we must live in harmony with the many beings who choose to inhabit this planet. The urgency for change is shared with us in news reports and pictures taken from many corners of the globe. It is easy to find and for many of us very disturbing to view. This impacts all areas of the earth. There are massive weather changes, earthquakes from fracking, areas of the earth underwater or on fire, and sink holes that swallow up homes and buildings. How much longer will we deny that these

events have been caused by our own actions? We are able to see the mass destruction of our choices, yet we are still unclear how to proceed as a global community. Even incapable of agreeing that there is a need to do so.

Soul Healing for Ourselves and the Planet Some of us get a sense of comfort from the belief that the earth can heal if only we discontinue some of our actions. For example, the belief: if we stop fracking there will be fewer earthquakes in that part of the globe. But since we do not know the extent of the harm done, this may not be true. It can be comforting to think God will step in and stop our destructive path. However, it is time to own up to our choices, and change our behavior

Omtimes.com

towards other life forms. This is a wake-up call from our collective soul. We need to own our part and find ways to stop the destruction. With the conscious knowledge our old ways are not working, we can do what humans do best: work together to resolve our differences. Brainstorm ideas and solutions for change. Establish protocols to rebuild an earth that is sustainable and considers the effect on all living beings.

The Time for Denial is Over; Time to Make a Choice Gone are the days, when the ignorance of the consequences of our actions absolved our responsibilities. We have lived too long in a state of denial. It is time to view our actions as part of the changes taking place within the Earth’s atmosphere.

Omtimes.com

The condition of our planet is not a product of one country’s actions, or of unbalanced minds being in control. It is the result of hundreds of years of ignorance about the Earth as a living being who sustains many species of life. And the result of our human ego believing we are the most important life form in the universe. The time to make a choice has come. Will you be part of the group that chooses to work to rebuild our way of life to be one of sustenance and abundance for all? Or will you choose to continue to believe there is a fixed number of resources within this earth and they should be used for what is needed now? Tomorrow will take care of itself. Learning to live and create life in a way that works for the highest and best of all concerned takes a mental shift in how we work and interact

with all aspects of life. While each of us may feel powerless to make significant efforts to help bring about this new paradigm, the truth is we are the only ones who can make this happen.

Our Spiritual Connections Lead to Soul Healing One tool to help know this truth is to heal our connection to God. No matter what you perceive this vibration to be, healing that connection will help create the energetic shifts that allow well-being to permeate your vibration. Since we all connect through the vibration of God, healing on an individual basis does have an effect on the collective vibration of Earth. Mankind is a dominating presence on Earth and we have caused great destruction. As a species, we can redeem our collective soul and also

establish healing methods that will create the necessary path to respect the rights of all living beings to live in peace and harmony. Each of us who makes the choice to be a part of the solution. Healing our connection to God will also start us on a healing journey for our soul. This healing journey while never completed will be a continuing source of comfort for us, and for our world. The Power to Question Defeat by Guy Finley

Reactions Can Bring Painful Problems Our stressful, pain-filled experiences are not caused by people or events but by our reactions to them. And yet, if we will honestly examine the way we presently question our defeats, here’s what we

Omtimes.com

see. We are still desperately seeking answers that serve only to correct the surface or exterior conditions. We are still blaming circumstances for crushing us. The direction of our questions proves that we are still thinking incorrectly about our problems.

Challenge Fate and Question Defeat This is supremely important to grasp if we wish to change our inner and outer world. By their very nature, our old questions tend to make and then keep us victims. They imply that someone or something outside of ourselves is punishing us. No human being is a victim of any punishment outside of their own undeveloped life-level. At this level, they see their inner reactions as outer attacks. This is why we must learn to turn our questions into tools. The right questions serve to develop self-wholeness, instead of letting them lead us off in the wrong direction. These new questions are the power that defeats defeat. They alone assure total victory. Each time you ask the right

question about an inner ache, you receive the new and right result. This knowledge releases you from the dark deceptions that want you to fight with life. Here are ten new questions that lead to selfwholeness. Use them to see the difference between how you used to think and how you will question defeat from now on. You will win!

Questions for Developing Self-Wholeness Instead of always asking yourself why things always happen to you, learn to ask: What is it inside of me that attracts these painful situations? Instead of always asking yourself why things had to go this way or that way, learn to ask: Why do external conditions determine the way I feel? Rather than asking yourself how to protect yourself in challenging situations, learn to ask: What is it in me that always needs to be defended? Instead of always asking yourself how to clear up your

Omtimes.com

mental fog, learn to ask: Can confusion know anything about clarity? Instead of always asking yourself what to do about tomorrow (or the next minute), learn to ask: Can there ever be intelligence in anxiety or worry? Rather than asking yourself why so-and-so acts this or that way, learn to ask: What’s inside of me that wants to hurt itself over how anyone else acts? Instead of always crying out “Why me?” learn to ask: Who is this “me” that always feels this way? Instead of always asking yourself if you’ve made the right choice, learn to ask: Can fear ever make a safe decision? Rather than asking yourself why doesn’t so-and-so see how wrong they are, learn to ask: Is what I’m feeling about that person right now good for me? Or them? Instead of always asking

Omtimes.com

yourself how to get others to approve you, learn to ask: What do I really want, the applause of the crowds or to quietly have my own life? Key Lesson: The passage of life’s innumerable events can either grind you down, or serve to remove your rough, sharp edges. Learn to question defeat, and whether you feel punished or polished by these movements all depends upon what you love. This article is excerpted from The Secret of Letting Go (pages 72-75). 4 Ways to Open the Floodgates to Different Revenue Streams by Simone Milasas

Revenue streams offer access to greater wealth Gone are the days when we could rely on a single business or income stream to bring in the money we desire to have in our lives. What if your financial reality was something you could increase with ease? Omtimes.com

There are probably many, many things you’re working on all the time. That certainly is true for me. There’s no reason why every one of those projects or ideas cannot become different revenue streams for you - if you’re willing to create them. Here’s what works for me.

Break it down, make it fun I was recently asked, how do you create different revenue streams? My advice is, start to look at the different things you already do as a business. Break them down, so you actually look at all of them as revenue streams. For instance, under the Joy of Business umbrella, I have a revenue stream from the telecalls I do, from the classes I facilitate, from my books, which are in 11 languages. Each morning I ask a couple of questions: which one can contribute to me today? Which one can I contribute to that would exponentialize it? Notice that it’s not about needing to focus my energy; what if there were no place to focus?

Just imagine you gather every single brilliant idea you have and throw them up in the air. Then ask a bunch of questions: which one desires and requires me today? Which one can physically actualize right now? Which one of these ideas can make me money today and in the future? And which one will be fun for me today? It’s like having a plethora of stars. You’re looking at them and wondering which one is shining the brightest today. None of them is right, and none of them is wrong. None of them is the answer. How amazing it is that you have these many possibilities available!

Put everything on your plate Do you look at all the different possibilities that could show up, and then instantaneously dismiss them by saying, I’m too busy? I couldn’t possibly add that on my plate. I suggest you keep piling up things on your plate you don’t have to eat it all! Years ago I had a business called Good Vibes for You Omtimes.com

selling t-shirts and stickers and magnets with catchy slogans that were designed to inspire change. People often asked me if I had copyrighted the sayings. No, I hadn’t copyrighted them, and if people were copying them that proved to me it was actually working! I’ve always desired to change the world and change the way people looked at the world and looked at each other. I had a big writing pad filled with lines and lines of different designs, so I was never going to run out of anything. What if you could never run out of business ideas? Contrary to what we’ve been told money is not the source of creation. You are the source of creation. How many more revenue streams can you create? The golden rule is: you don’t have to do everything on your own. Start to look at who or what else could you add to your business today? You’ll probably also have to stop being a control freak and start to receive from everyone and everything. That’s the joy of business and the adventure of living. Omtimes.com

Put the demand back in there When you create things for the sheer pleasure and joy of it, money can seem like a secondary consideration. I’ve seen people who start having fun with their business and then forget to demand money to show up. If you’ve stopped asking for money - because in truth you don’t create for money - put the demand back in there. You could even increase the amount of money you’re asking to create. Demand is where you request of the universe and demand of yourself to create what you desire, no matter what it takes and no matter what it looks like. I’d also suggest that you get clear on how much money you are already creating down to the last dollar. Write it down. I can almost guarantee that you’re earning more than you think you are. You probably don’t know where the money has gone, but that’s another story.

Action, action, action In the past, I used to wait

until the last minute to do things. Finally, I realized that it wasn’t actually conducive to what I desired to create. One of the things I’ve learned from the founder of Access Consciousness, Gary Douglas, is to deal with whatever is going on. If Gary’s phone rings, he answers it. What if you never delayed anything? How many people go, not now! when their phone rings, rather than answer it? You can say, “Hey, I’m in the middle of something, can I call you back?” But you have to deal with things. Piling up the tasks on your to-do list can make you feel more important, but it gets in the way of what you actually can create. Look at what needs to be done to create your life, your living, your future, your money flows, your business - and take action.

So, what changes can you make? It’s quite common for people to think they’d be bored if they actually ticked all the boxes and got everything done. That is one of the biggest lies you’ve been telling

yourself. In truth, what if there was way more available to do than you’ve been willing to acknowledge? You never know how it’s going to show up. So you’ve got to come out of any judgments. If you weren’t judging your business, what would you choose? What would you change? What action can you take today to your business and your revenue streams flows that would increase and exponentialize them? The Abundance Code by Sunanda Sharma

Bring on Prosperity with Abundance Manifestation We can all use a little prosperity from time to time. Many of us are very intrigued by the idea of ‘abundance manifestation’. We could also feel that prosperity may not Omtimes.com

be everyone’s game, or we are not skilled to magnetize as few lucky ones do. Let’s consider the meaning of the word ‘abundance.’ Abundance is a sense of having enough and feeling happy about it. Abundance does not connote being ‘ultra-rich’ or becoming a millionaire or billionaire, per se. It is a state of contentment. And this ensures a ‘flow of uninterrupted energy’ into creative earthly pursuits and not-so-earthly pursuits in the spiritual realm. According to the dictionary, abundance can be described as: a. A great or plentiful amount: an abundance of rain. b. T he condition of being in rich supply: bananas growing in abundance. c. Degree of plenteousness d. Affluence; wealth.

How Does One Manifest Abundance through the

Abundance Code? There are several ways to manifest abundance. Many of these methods have been developed, over time, into a variety of systems or codes to create a greater sense of satisfaction. These ways are listed below: Meditation - the more relaxed and calm we are, the more we will be able to visualize what we want to magnetize in life. Visualization - notice how we visualize things. Do we sense them or see them? Are they in color? How clear are they? We keep practicing until we experience a mental picture or sense of what we want. Focus - We can also try focusing on what we want for several minutes and get comfortable with it. Essence - When we are clear

about the essence of what we want, we increase the range of possible forms and possible ways these could be drawn to us. Know the essence!

situation where we intend to materialize more money. We can ask the following questions before beginning the process:

Feeling / Emotion - Let’s be specific about the feeling that the object, person, or place will give us, even if we are not very clear on the other details. Feeling the manifestation of our desires brings it to us.

• Whatever we think this extra money will give us aliveness, peace, self-esteem - this is the quality that we need to develop to become more magnetic to money and abundance.

Needs fulfillment - If we focus on the appearance or picture our new home in detail but are not clear on the functions we want that house to fulfill, we might get the appearance we thought we wanted, but find that in practice, the house doesn’t satisfy our needs. It’s important to know how the manifestation should serve us.

• Ask ourselves what it will give us that we don’t already have?

There is More to Inquire from the Universe Thus, let’s consider a

Omtimes.com

• What deeper needs would a larger sum of money satisfy? It’s always good to magnetize what we want and to feel excited by it. If we are not prepared to have something, then we magnetize what we believe we can have, and leave the rest for later. Trying to magnetize something that does not motivate us - as a

compromise - rarely works. Once we start creating with energy and magnetism, we are going to get what we want easily and naturally. Congratulating ourselves when we are able to manifest our desires also sends a positive message to the subconscious. Last, but not the least, there is a perfect state to manifest one’s heart’s desire. 1) Creativity, inventiveness, playfulness and spontaneous imagination are the best tools for magnetism. 2) Clarity about what we want and what ‘higher quality’ it will bring in our life. 3) Love and intend to have what we are ask for. If the process feels like a strain, that means we are putting out too much of our energy.

Balancing Energies Can Begin with Us! If we channel too little an energy than it will not come to

us or will take a long time to coming to us. If what we want seems more like a wish or a faraway possibility, it is likely we are using too little energy. Abundance is a beautiful state to be in! It applies to a sense of contentment at all levels. Whether it is emotional, spiritual, material or physical abundance it all corresponds to a state of flow. The ways mentioned earlier help us be a conduit of energy at every level, so we are magnetizing from source. We must surrender the how, when, and where to the universal intelligence and let the rest flow. So, let’s go ahead and crack the abundance code, letting the magic begin! Number, Color, & Sound - The Basis for the Universe by Marguerite dar Boggia

Natural Origins and Ageless Wisdom For millions of years, the Spiritual Guides of the Race have watched over humanity. They are our Elder Brothers. They have gone through the experiences of love, hatred, selfishness and greed, aggression and misery; and

Omtimes.com

thus have become perfected men. This is our destiny, also. Today, when they glance at the auras of humanity, they delight that universal education develops the lower mind, called the intellect. This is when humanity understands more of the ageless wisdom teachings given to us by advanced disciples.

world awakens its corresponding sound in the invisible realms, and arouses to action some force or other on the occult side of nature. Moreover, every sound corresponds to a color and a number (a potency spiritual, psychic or physical) and to a sensation on some plane. All these find an echo in every one of the so far developed elements and even on the terrestrial plane, in the LIVES that swarm the terrene atmosphere, thus prompting them to action.

Color and Its Shades of Subtleties Rate of Vibrations and Energies One of the greatest recent disciples of the masters was Madame H.P. Blavatsky, and her picture is above. She was born in Russia in 1831 and died in 1891. She also studied in Tibet with the Masters. Here is what she says in Collected Writings:1 “Esoteric Science teaches that every SOUND in the visible

Walt Disney, who produced the motion picture Fantasia, proved to us that specific colors emit from the various musical instruments. Every atom, whether mineral, human, solar or galactic, has a keynote, a particular sound, a color, and a rate of vibration. Because, at the heart of every atom, is a life. It is a spark of the boundless all that is seeking expression through its vehicles; to wit: the atoms in all seven kingdoms, including the Kingdom of Deity.2

Omtimes.com

As the consciousness expands, and through purity in the life, through study, meditation and service, the rate of vibration of the cells in the physical and the various subtle bodies increase. The keynote and color become more continually refined until eventually union with the divine self is attained in a more adequate body. Consciousness is infinite. There is no end to development, even for the Gods.

Numbers as the Basis of the Universe Pythagoras claimed that numbers are the basis of the universe. The science of numbers is, in reality, the science of color and sound.3 We will understand the Law of Vibration gradually more and more. It will find its basic expression and its familiar terminology in those of color and sound.4 The worlds are the effect of sound. 5 The masters have given us sacred words and sound. When intoned on the right key, these

Omtimes.com

change the rate of vibration and establish harmony. When I attended the New York City Lodge of the Rosicrucian Order, AMORC, the group uttered certain sacred vowel sounds. These sounds served to change the rate of vibration not only of the members. They also invoke the help and blessings of the unseen lives, known as devas. (The Church refers to them as angels). One of the vowel sounds was RA - MA (pronounced Rah-Mah) intoned on the note of A natural above middle C. There were other vowel sounds, which I am not at liberty to mention.

The Sacred Aum and Its Proper Use The most famous sacred word is the word aum. This is what Madame Blavatsky has to say about aum in Collected Writings:6 “The word Aum or Om, which corresponds to the upper triangle, (the threefold divine Soul) if pronounced by a very holy and pure man, will draw

out or awaken not only the less exalted potencies residing in the planetary spaces and elements, but even his Higher Self, or the “Father” within him. Pronounced by an averagely good man, in the correct way, it will strengthen him morally, especially if between two “Aums” he meditates intently on the Aum within him, concentrating all his attention upon the ineffable glory. But woe to the man who pronounced it after the commission of some farreaching sin (or from anger): he will thereby only attract to his own impure photosphere invisible presences and forces which could not otherwise break through the divine envelope. All the members of the Esoteric School, if earnest in their endeavor to learn, are invited to pronounce the divine word before going to sleep and the first thing upon awakening. The right accent, however, should be first obtained from one of the officers of the E.S.T. (Esoteric Section of Theosophy).”

Sound Used to Fortify and Master Natural Forces The following is from Madame Blavatsky, taken from the magazine The Theosophist, and reprinted in A Treatise on Cosmic Fire, on Page 448.7 “They have in Indian ancient system of psychical teaching called Yoga, in which the recitation of certain mantrams, or verses of Sanskrit, is prescribed. Especially important is said to be the way in which the mystical syllable Om, or Aum, is pronounced. Learned Brahmans tell me, that the illimitable psychic potentiality of the Sanskrit charms, or mantrams is only drawn out by the adoption of a certain very accurate rule of pronunciation (swara). They say that by formulating the words correctly a vibration is set upon the akaz, or that part of the ether of space which enwraps our globe, which makes man the master over all the spirit denizens or ethereal body of the man

Omtimes.com

himself, purifying its grossness, stimulating its psychic powers out of the normal state of latency, and gradually fortifying them up to the point of mastery over nature’s finer forces. “The primal single sound (AUM or OM) is the highest uttered word of power and knowledge. It is verily as Brahman itself. The regulation of the breath is the primary tapas-discipline. Higher than the Savitri is no mantra. Higher than silence is truth.... “By repeated dwelling on their significance, and tuning his desire and modeling his thought to that significance, the seeker after Brahman shall, without fail, attain all perfection, whether he discharge any other duty or not; for the very name of the Brahmana is ‘the friend of All creatures’ (and the Gayatri is the prayer for the blessing of all creatures by our radiant Father in Heaven, the Sun).”

Powerful Mantrams for Projecting & Manifesting The Forces of Darkness invoke

Omtimes.com

the Mantrams to command the invisible lives to do their will for their own selfish purposes. But, masters and adepts work with the soul of these lives to serve and to benefit the evolution of humanity. Take, for example, the documentary film Thrive,8 (produced by Foster Gamble and his wife). When sound created a vortex in the sand, I realized that this might be what creates the world. When a master wants to manifest his visualization, he sounds the sacred word or Mantram. This creates a vortex in space, galvanizing the invisible lives to make manifest his thought-form and visualization. Dr. Dewey Larson believes that motion forms the entire universe.9

Dearest, Spiritually speaking autistic children are very special to God. As for non-communicative autism you must understand, these are wise souls actively living spiritual lives in other dimensions. There are many parents that have broken a barrier by creating communication boards with photographs of joyful objects: this encourages the children to interact with our world. We must cherish and nurture these souls. You will find that they respond to love and joy. Never judge another souls’ chosen path; they are divine children with special missions. Dear Whitedove, Now that the US election is over I am afraid for this country. I often tremble with fear, worrying that our country will be divided and that War may even come to our shores. How can I shake this feeling? Worrying in Wisconsin

Dearest, Worrying is like praying for the negative to happen. Now is the time for everyone to hold the highest vision for our country. Each one of us must do our part and be “in the moment”; not focusing on negativity of the past or perceived negativity in the future. Great Spirit tells us that we co-create our future with our words, actions, thoughts and beliefs. It’s time for us to join together and pray for a positive future, take positive action, visualize your perfect paradise and pray for peace. In this way, you will step away from fear and help to manifest a better world. Connect with Whitedove

What is the Fallacy of Resistance?

by Baba Shuddhaanandaa Brahmachari

Resistance: What We Resist Persists Most of the nagging issues in our lives stem from our inbuilt resistance to certain people or circumstances. There is a simple dictum that the universe follows, “whatever we resist, persists. It is like there is a conspiracy going on! Omtimes.com

Whatever we wish to avoid seems to bump into us again and again. As such it is not a conspiracy, but the simple consequence of a universal law in operation, the law of resistance. We all live within the boundaries of our mind, like a spider within its selfcreated web. However, if we impartially examine our mind we find that most unhappiness and displeasure is due to unconscious resistance to anything that contradicts our mind’s conditions of likes and dislikes. Love turns into hate in a moment, and happiness into misery. Lift the veil of conditions and ease and beauty starts to flow. It could be our boss in the workplace or our spouse at home; stress is born out of resistance to “what is.” When we don’t “like” certain traits in a person, we resist and friction is created. If we withdraw the resistance, understanding happens, and love blossoms.

Mindfulness Rewires Our Brain

All resistance to life situations is our subconscious programming in automatic operation. Till the unconscious patterns are changed, not much changes. Mindfulness in our daily life changes our inner patterns and builds spiritual immunity to combat all upheavals and challenges of life. Mindfulness rewires our brain to move from a conditioned life to a life of freedom. It transforms a life of conditioned habits and compulsions to a life of balance and beauty. We need to first practice being aware of physical sensations, thoughts and emotions that pass through our mind. As we observe our mind without judgment we see that conditions of mind such as compulsive thoughts, agitations, and anger will all surface. Don’t be judgmental, that is creating resistance, fighting with nature. Instead withdraw like the clouds in the sky;

Omtimes.com

watch the thoughts as they have come only to pass. If we resist, criticize, or feel guilt, they keep persisting. Mindfulness is being noninterfering, and seeing things as they are, not how we conditionally wish them to be.

First Accept, Then Find Solutions The simple way out of this repetitive cycling is to reprogram the mind in the art of acceptance first, and then find solutions that can work. The best option is to stop resisting and practice patience, forgiveness, compassion and surrender to the higher will to transform our road blocks into an easy-flowing life. Let us say we find someone who is hostile to us and despite all our resistance, insistence, and attempts to understand, nothing is working. Then what do we do, keep fighting? Here is the clue: just start thinking that the other is nothing but a soul in a lower frequency, so we use our soul power of positive

Omtimes.com

thoughts and light to think and fill the other person with more positive power so that he/she can see the light and rise. Calmness, patience, harmony, tolerance, non-reactivity, nonresistance, and responsiveness are higher qualities, not lower. They don’t come to people who rush, rush, rush all the time. They are qualities of a mindful person who is patient, organized, and very good at time management, handling one thing at a time. We can learn much from their calm approach to life.

Cultivating A Calm, Responsive, Spiritual Mind Imagine a situation where the external conditions don’t change, but our internal environment is gradually changed into a higher dimension of stability and calm. As such, true-life experiences are all to teach us to learn certain basic universal norms of life. They have less to do with our religious

beliefs and more to do with our lifestyle or our conditional living modes. After all, whatever we do, we do it only to be happy, peaceful and healthy in life. If our life story is contradictory to this foundational desire of one and all, then something needs change. That which needs change are the glasses with which we are seeing this world. As we consciously put our efforts toward an inner change of attitude, and do so with love for our own self and love for others, knowing that love alone has the magic keys to open the flood gates of true joy in life, we are close to a state of mind which will usher in all the beauty and glory of the Divine Light. Let us make small printouts of the law, “Whatever You Resist Persists” and place them around for a while till the law sinks into our consciousness and we no longer resist but

win the situation through our acceptance first and then reaching out to a God-given solution and flow with life. The less we resist the more we flow, the more we flow, the more we become like water. Water makes its way through every obstacle on the way, not fighting but flowing…. Flow with life, and allow the life to be a flow. 4 Simple Tips to Help You Make the Right Decision by Julie Geigle

Divine Guidance’s Role in Making the Right Decision Sometimes in life you come to a fork in the road and you say to yourself should I go left or should I go right? How can we be sure if the choice we make is the right decision? Omtimes.com

If you are faced with a fork in the road in your life today, here are four simple tips to help you make the right decision:

inner wisdom so you can really become aware of the signs spirit is trying to give you that you keep missing.

1. Pray about it.

One sign to pay attention to is goosebumps or chills. If you are thinking about something and you get chills it is definite confirmation from your angels that you are on the right path. If you are thinking about something and you get a headache or begin to not feel well that is also a sign that you are not on the right path.

Don’t just ask God to help you out, but really open your heart to divine guidance. Do this by taking three deep breaths, close your eyes, move into your heart and ask God “Which path would bring me closer to my highest good?” Don’t worry about getting an answer right away. So often we push things away from us because we want it too badly. Breathe into the question and surrender to the answer. The right decision will be revealed to you if you ask the question. 2. Pay Attention. There are usually signs all around us that are trying to tell us Yes! or No! but we miss them because we are too busy and can’t “hear” that still, small voice trying to direct us. Slow down. Take time out for yourself on a regular basis and get in touch with your

Every time I get a headache I always check in to see if there is a decision I am trying to make about something and if there is I know the headache is a sign for me not to move forward. Oftentimes, our body and emotions are another way spirit/angels are trying to guide us to the right decision or in the right direction. 3. Passion. Usually the path you are supposed to take makes you light up like a Christmas tree, or explode with excitement

Omtimes.com

like fireworks on the 4th of July. The path you should stay away from usually feels flat and unemotional. Try talking with someone about the decision you need to make and ask them to pay attention to your voice intonation and facial expression. Sometimes the answer hides in your language and a second party can identify it easily. Just make sure the person can be objectionable and that they don’t have any personal stake in the outcome. 4. Visualize It. A technique I use often with clients is visualization. I have them visualize down to the smallest detail each of the paths separately, like a movie running in their mind. They imagine what their life would be like if they chose path #1 paying close attention to how they feel. Then I have them do the same with path #2. Then together we process the pros and cons of each path and, more times

Omtimes.com

than not, it becomes quite evident which path is for their highest good. Sometimes, knowing what you don’t want is just as important as knowing what you do want. The path you choose is simply to confirm what you do not want. In essence, everything is the right decision. Remember there are no wrong paths. Every path leads you to a deeper understanding of who you are and what you want in life. And if all else fails, just make the right decision to follow your heart. Empower Girls Break the Cycle of Dependence

The number one reason girls drop out of school in Sub-Saharan Africa is lack of access to feminine hygiene products. The Pads for Schoolgirls Project, an outreach of Humanity Healing International, is changing this paradigm by setting up sewing programs at schools, teaching girls a vocational skill, while producing the reusable pads that help keep them attending classes. The girls pay it forward by making and giving pad kits to other girls in need. To learn more, visit humanityhealing.org
