INTERVIEW WITH SANDRA SEDGBEER
OMTimes Magazine May 2021
"I come to you asking for a favor, and that favor is to help me to change the world. I'm not referring to the world of humanity, not the one "out there." I mean the world that you create in your own mind— the world that is only true for you and not for anyone else. You see, you create the story of your life. You create an entire reality that is only true for you.
There are seven billion people in the world, all who create their own story. I create my personal world, but it is just a story. It's not real, and it's not true. In that same way, your story is not true either. The difference is that you believe it is true, and I do not. You begin to change your world the moment you realize it is not true. It is only a story."
THE LITTLE BOOK OF WISDOM
“Envision yourself at the beginning of the labyrinth. First, you must be willing to enter. If you are not ready to forgive and let go, you have a choice to not enter the labyrinth. This exercise only has power if you say yes by your own free will, and by your own will alone will you be able to engage in this exercise. If you choose to enter, this is the action of saying, "Yes, I am ready to forgive and take responsibility for my own will.” ― DON MIGUEL RUIZ JR.
At the age of 14, don Miguel Jr. was apprenticed to his father, don Miguel Sr. and to his grandmother, Madre Sarita. He was called upon to translate Madre Sarita's prayers, lectures, and workshops from Spanish into English from that early age. In this way, through constant repetition and review, he learned the content of her teachings in both languages. Through interpreting for Madre Sarita, don Miguel Jr. came to understand the power of faith. He saw firsthand how she manifested her intent to heal people, both physically and spiritually. don Miguel Jr.'s apprenticeship lasted 10 years. When he reached his mid-20's, his father intensified his training. At the apex of this power journey, don Miguel said to his eldest son, "Find your way out. Go home and master Death by becoming alive." For the past 13 years, don Miguel Jr. has applied the lessons learned from his father and grandmother to define and enjoy his own personal freedom while achieving peace with all of creation. Today, he is married and has two young children. As a Nagual, he continues to pass along the wisdom and the tools of his family's traditions in helping others to achieve their own personal freedom and optimal physical and spiritual health in his lectures and workshops. OMTimes Magazine May 2021 Issue 27 | 234
Miguel Jr. has taken the lessons of his father and grandmother and discovered his own unique path to freedom. Being able to apply his teachings to the world around him gave Miguel Jr. a new understanding of the lessons his father and grandmother had passed onto him, once again giving him the desire to pass on this awareness through his books. He is the author of the books: "The Five Levels of Attachment," "Living a Life of Awareness," "The Mastery of Self," and "The Don Miguel Ruiz's Little Book of Wisdom." He also co-authored the book "The Seven Secrets to Healthy, Happy Relationships" with his dear friend, HeatherAsh Amara. He now helps others discover the best physical and spiritual health through his books to achieve their own personal freedom.
DON MIGUEL RUIZ JR SAT DOWN WITH SANDRA SEDGBEER AND TALKED ABOUT WISDOM, FAMILY, AND SPIRITUAL ENLIGHTENMENT. Sandra Sedgbeer: don Miguel, your book, the 5 Attachments, made an impression – synchronicity of the symbolism this past year that we are still learning how to let go. don Miguel: If you're so attached or you identify yourself with something in this world that all of a sudden, if you go through a harsh contrast because you keep holding onto it, you're going to suffer. If you're able to attach and reengage differently, this year will be a little simpler— it's going to be difficult, of course. Still, the suffering will be slightly different in the sense that you're not holding onto something that no longer exists.
OMTimes Magazine May 2021
You engage with what is, and that's what life is. You engage our relationship with life at this very moment and who we are changing just as much as life changes in front of us. In that ability to detach, we're able to see who's in front of us—especially seeing who we are within ourselves. Of course, I am talking in a spiritual sense.
Sandra Sedgbeer: Tell us something about your relationship with your Ancestors, your family, and your children. don Miguel: People ask me, I should write a book about parenting, and I say, there's no need. It's already been written.
How To Raise An Adult by Julie Lythcott-Haims. is that book. It came into my life in a moment of anxiety. What's going to happen to my kids after I'm gone. Of course, that's been in my mind for as long as my kids have been around, but also when I was a kid… what's going to happen to me when my parents are gone and how it affected me back then. Two things happened at the beginning of 2018. Puberty hit my son, and puberty and autism are interesting things. It's the first time I realized he's going to be 18 in just a good 5-6 years from now. What world did I bring him into? It's the first time I really felt anxiety. OMTimes | May 2021
The first thing that came into my life was a movie called Black Panther, where the king…in the storyline, the Black Panther, his father dies in a terrorist incident and the whole Marvel universe, comic book world, he goes in, finds justice, whatever, but now he becomes the new king. To become the new king, he has to take on all the challengers. For that to happen, he has to remove the power of the Black Panther. He takes this solution that makes him a normal human being. When he comes out victorious, he has to take this other essence from this flower that gives him back the power of the Black Panther, but he has to go into the underworld.
My father's wisdom, which he began teaching in the mid-1980s, springs from our family's Toltec tradition. The Toltecs were a group of Native Americans that came together in south-central Mexico 2,500 years ago. They are the builders of the pyramids in Teotihuacan, Mexico. The word Toltec is a Nahuatl word that means "artist," as the Toltecs believed every human being was the artist of his or her own life. My family's Toltec wisdom has been handed down from generation to generation, sometimes in secrecy when the politics of the day required it. My father learned our tradition from his mother, Madre Sarita, and from his grandfather, don Leonardo. What many people do not know is that earlier in his life, my father was not very interested in the traditional wisdom of my family. His passion was medicine, and he attended medical school and became a physician. Shortly after graduating from medical school, however, he had a near-death experience that was to change him greatly. (I have included his first-person account of this event at the start of this book.) It was after this near-death experience that he became interested in our family's wisdom tradition, and he began an apprenticeship to Madre Sarita. THE LITTLE BOOK OF WISDOM
OMTimes Magazine May 2021
When he goes there, he sees his ancestors, and the very first person he sees is his father. The Black Panther tells the father, I am so happy to see you. I wasn't ready for your death, to not see you. The father, who was so happy to see him prior, became serious and says, The one job of a parent is to prepare his child for his own death. Have I failed you, my son? The rest of the movie is entertaining, but that line made me shift. We're teaching our kids how to thrive without us. Let them experience the consequences of their own actions and realize what drives us to be a helicopter parent because we're so afraid of them making the wrong decision that we take over and make decisions for them. The result is many kids go to college or universities and have no idea how to even navigate. . We're expecting our kids to go out in the world, and since we're making all these decisions for them, when they're alone, they have no idea how to pay a bill, how to apply for a grant, how to apply for school, how to sign up for a class. They're so used to us doing it for them that we never gave them a chance to make their own choices and how to navigate the consequences when things don't go as you plan. Julie Lythcott was the Dean of Admissions at Stanford University here in California. She witnessed firsthand how she saw her students come in and so many not knowing how to even function.
They got into Stanford, yes, but most of them came from this helicopter mentality that it's Stanford or nothing. If you go to a community college or go to UC (University of California), you're not successful. The only way is to get into Stanford. The east coast has Harvard and Columbia, the west coast has Stanford. You see how these kids—yes, they might be book smart, but they don't know anything outside of that. This book was written to us parents – all right, how do we raise a child that is going to function in society. How to get rid of the anxiety of what's going to happen to our kids if something were to happen to me? The answer is knowing that they can survive. That requires trust. That requires taking that step back and let them see what they can do. For me, that was the healing of anxiety, the purpose. Realizing it's their purpose. With my son, we move the goalpost—I'm using a sports analogy here. It's not going to be 18. It's going to be 21 or 27 or whenever he is ready. I have friends who went to university and graduated with my degree, and about 5-7 years later, they changed careers, including myself. It's already taught me that not everybody practices what they learned at university. They change careers halfway through, so what's the hurry of pushing my son to hit this mile marker at 18? He's going to find it in his own way, and it's going to be different from my daughter Audrey who is in a totally different situation. She is getting straight As, and she has this desire to be competitive.
As a parent, I'm kind of riding the wave of my daughter's competitive nature, and she's getting straight As, and it's only because she has this competitive thing about her, so I'm like, I'll step back. My wife does something brilliant. She says, If you do this, this is the consequence. If you do that, this is the consequence. Which do you choose? Then she steps back and lets them choose. So this book really helped me understand what I'm doing as a parent because one of the secrets we parents don't tell our kids, especially people who don't have kids, admit that we have no idea what we're doing. We're doing the very best with what we've got. As soon as we get used to being the parent of a one-year-old, they turn two making everything we knew about parenting irrelevant because the child has changed. They turn 4, they turn 8, they turn 12, they turn 30. When I held my son in my arms, I realized I didn't know what I was doing. I read the book, What to Expect When You're Expecting. I took the class, I could swaddle a baby pretty well. That's when I realized my parents had no idea what they were doing is the moment I saw them as my peers. This book encapsulates that answer. All right, how do we help our kids because if you see them as our peers, then all of a sudden, the pressure is a little bit different? It's about seeing human beings doing the best with what they've got. That's when I reengaged. It's an eye-opener for me. It helped me shift my approach and motivate my kids to go to school and be educated. I found their strengths and what they're passionate about and use that as this guiding light into helping them figure it out and not be afraid.
OMTimes Magazine May 2021
For example, my daughter has a homework assignment right now – the classic how to drop an egg without breaking. You can't use this, you can't use that, and my desire to go in there and help her, I have to resist. I have to take a step back. This is not my assignment.
MAY 2021
You apply for all these things. I'm not going to use it for you. It was daunting and scary, but I did it. I got a full scholarship to the University of California for 5 years, and I had to apply every year for it. There's something to be said about giving someone the ability to make choices and experience consequences. You gain confidence, and that's the gift.
This is hers. The only thing I told her was that your teacher told you a list of what you can't use all right. Stop focusing on that and start looking at the things you can, and the answer to how to protect an egg from falling will show up for you. But first, you accept the parameters that the teacher says you can't use. What can you use? At that point, I step back and let her figure it out. It's her grade, not mine.
Sandra Sedgbeer: It's interesting that within a couple of generations, helicopter parenting has become the norm. You go back a couple of generations, and kids would leave school at 14, and they'd be adults working, and they were treated like adults. Don Miguel: and I'm part of that generation where I can feel a little bit of the helicopter parenting in my parents, and then, I hit middle school, and my father said, all right. From now on, it's your education.
Before the interview, we talked about your grandson and how he educates himself through watching YouTube, and my son does the same thing. He learns languages through YouTube. Whenever he's interested in something, he goes into it and research. If he's afraid of something, he looks for it on YouTube. Spiders – he got stung by a bee. He now knows everything about bees and wasps and why he has allergies and that kind of thing. The book also helped in this way—my son's autism affects his speech, so he's not Asperger's because his ability to speak was impacted by autism.
MAY | OMTIMES
He didn't really start speaking until he was 5 or 6 years and sentences around 8. Now he's talking abstract thoughts, but he's mostly mimicking dialogues he sees on YouTube and on TV. That's his conversation—whatever he sees. With that in mind, people have been trying to teach him math for many, many, many years. He can do it in a certain way, but he cannot do it in another.
Sandra Sedgbeer: If somebody asked you to give them something to inspire them on their journey. Whether it's a spiritual journey, whether it's a personal quest for knowledge about self-knowledge, which is the book you would recommend the most? don Miguel: The person who asks me this is always morphing. If you're a parent and ask how to raise an adult, out of all the books in front of me, that's the one I recommend the most. Of course, The Four Agreements by my papa helps so much. How to Raise an Adult is a book I've recommended the most because I can talk to my peers who are also my parents and all my teachings—they ask me about The Four Agreements and ask me how I can apply it with my kids? The closest book I've ever read that comes close to being the parent book of The Four Agreements is How to Raise an Adult. Don't take it personally, don't make assumptions, always do your best, be impeccable with your word—that one. I would say it's the number one book I recommend. Sandra Sedgbeer: What is your biggest fear? don Miguel: My biggest fear is that of a parent. What's going to happen to our kids if something were to happen to us?
MAY | OMTIMES
SIt's something I remember telling my father years ago when he was still struggling after his heart attack and wanted us to thrive. Wouldn't it be beautiful to see your sons thrive while you're still alive, so you can say that we might raise our kids to thrive and be successful if we were to pass away, but how beautiful would it be to witness it? So you can say that it would be good to know that one day, every relationship in our life ends, but that day is not today. But just like we will all die—I'm going to die, my wife's going to die, my parents are going to die. The moment you accept that's going to happen is the moment you no longer waste your time worrying about that day. I'm going to enjoy this day because I'm alive. If you understand this concept, every relationship I have will end—by choice, life, or death.
My life, for example, would be my girlfriend and me in college when I graduated, she moved back to Berlin, and I stayed in California, and this was before Facebook or any social media, so the breakup was… we didn't break up as we never said it. We just said goodbye. I left her at the airport, and she flew away. That's a separation by life. By choice is the one we all know: a breakup. It's not you, it's not me, it's whatever. One day my wife and I will see each other and close our eyes. The moment we accept that is the moment we can stop wasting our time worrying about that day and enjoy this day for both saying yes to each other. Just like in life, life is saying yes to me right now, just like I'm saying yes to it. Why waste our time? And like you'd say in the show Game of Thrones: What do you tell the angel of death? Not today.
Well, not today. I'm enjoying life. Something I would suggest people face is not just their mortality but also the end of everything we know, just like the belief that we're witnessing the transition of the industrial age to the knowledge age. We're using information, knowledge to engage each other. It's changing. The ability to let go of moments in time. Yes, Paul McCartney just released his third McCartney album, and apparently, all 3 albums represent an ending. The first McCartney was the end of the Beatles. The second was the end of Wings. This one is about the end of the world as he knew it because of Covid and change. What's going to come out? It's going to be a whole new normal, and what I mean by that, it's going to be a whole new way of getting used to life. Normal is constantly changing. That's something Temple Brandon has taught us —something is always changing. There's no such thing as normal. But, if we shift the definition a little bit, it is something that we get used to, it'll change again and again and again, and we do it in our own lives. I'm no longer 20, and I'm no longer 30.
MAY | OMTIMES
I'm 45 years old, and right now…in November and December, I worked very hard on my kickboxing, and I got really good and shaped my body, but then I took 2 weeks off, and I completely indulged in my Christmas meals. I ate quite a bit. I took my first kickboxing class in 2 weeks yesterday, and man, I felt the effects of those 2 weeks of not exercising and eating. It felt like I had to start all over again. I am constantly changing.
So what should we challenge? What should we face? Death. Just as a metaphor to transition because with that comes new life.
Sandra Sedgbeer: I want to go back to where we started in the beginning when we talked about the 5 levels of attachment in the beginning expressly for this past year and next year. It's difficult talking about attachments because it doesn't matter how many we let go of. There's always more. If you had to write that book today, is there one thing you would add to it that wasn't there before? don Miguel: Yes. I actually added it in the Mastery of Self. That's why it's in there again. An attachment is a healthy thing when the time comes to let go, and you're able to let go. It's engaging the moment, and when the moment's over, you're able to disengage. Engage, disengage. Engage, disengage. Attach, detach. Attach, detach. That's healthy. It becomes unhealthy the moment when it's time to let go and we can't. That's when we start holding onto something that no longer exists,
and it requires a lot of energy to keep it. If you look back on our life, imagine that you're able to remember every single moment in your life. We have to use our imagination because we have forgotten a lot of things. Life allows us to let go, like opening our hand in a river. The river will take it. That means that the things we hold onto, we use energy to keep it—in a good way, a bad way, impactful or negative, positive, whatever. It takes effort to hold on, but the past only exists because we keep saying yes to it. We keep it alive by using it as an identity, sense of self, and sense of purpose. The moment we decide to open up, it'll go away just like every thought, every memory. My brother uses the analogy—you sit in the river, open your hand, and see what the river takes away. If you keep your eye on that thing, that's all you'll see, but it'll prevent you from turning around and seeing what the river brings to you, and that's what life does. As soon as you let go, you're able to engage that which is coming. This morning I got the news that a classmate of mine from elementary & middle school passed away from Covid, and he was a guy who was always happy, always smiling. He leaves behind a wife and a child, and he's young—he's my age, but then again, I feel young, so that's why I said he's young. One of the things about accepting that and every relationship ends is that it helps us not take for granted our relationships. Enjoy, have fun, be present and enjoy those moments with the people you love. Tomorrow is not promised, but if you're alive to enjoy it, it's a beautiful present.

HO'OPONOPONO AND THE SCIENCE OF FORGIVENESS By Humanity Healing
Ho'Oponopono is a Hawaiian healing system that means correcting a mistake. In the Hawaiian language, Ho'o means to cause, and Pono Pono implies perfection. The practice of Ho'Oponopono, according to the Kahunas, brings balance between three estancias, the three "I." We have Uhane, the conscious "I"; Unihipili, the middle "I," our instinctive or unconscious Self, and Aumakua, the higher "I." Our mind is divided into different coefficients: We have 5% of our conscious mind, 65% unconscious, and 30% superconscious. We use the conscious mind to decide our life, but while it is the "head," the unconscious is the "neck." The unconscious ends up directing our thoughts and actions. We believe it is because it has stored memories of other lives, other levels of consciousness, our kinship relationships, and even events throughout our life.
At some point, we learned that a particular behavior or idea was ideal for protecting us or suitable for us. Still, today it no longer makes sense and ends up bringing an unsatisfactory or unhappy result. The Ho'Oponopono Technique is a powerful tool that manages to act in this more resonant field, more difficult to access and transmute. Reaching and Transmuting parts of the Unconscious Mind To reach the unconscious, we need to be in an alpha or hypnotic state. It is also possible to repeat written or spoken words multiple times and achieve the same results. Several other resources are used to work on an unconscious pattern like NLP, meditations, hypnosis, and regression. But in truth, nothing is as efficient as the Ho'Oponopono. That is because Ho'Oponopono connects the "Three Selves" of being with divine Intelligence. It is easy to learn and practice
The word means "straighten what is crooked" or "correct a mistake." It can correct and maintain human relationships between family members and clans and the deities that protect them. To Practice Ho'Oponopono aware of all its meaning and with lucidity makes us an Integral Being. We are spiritual beings with a human experience, not material beings who seek spiritual experience. In fact, this search is the search for each one of us's spiritual essence, which is why it brings so much plenitude to the people who enter the path of Soul Awareness. Releasing Emotions and Purifying the Inner Worlds As mentioned working with a problem is The key to Ho'Oponopono.
Every challenge appears bringing up something that needs to be transmuted, restored, and released. Often, the cause is not known, and therefore, it is important to define it well. For example, you have a particular way of acting that you do not like, but you repeated the same trait when you least expected it. That is because it is rooted in your personality, and you have no idea why you act this way. You can work on this defect by practicing Ho'Oponopono even without understanding its causes. There is the possibility of having some insight that shows its origin, as has happened in many cases. Everything will make a lot of sense for you, also, to benefit from the result.
Rules of Engagement A Family's Elders are the ones who hold the reins. If they cannot resolve the conflict, a third party is introduced. In principle, the declaration of the situation that distresses them is made. All members must solve problems without holding anyone responsible and without holding on to emotions. Everyone should meditate and keep silent if necessary. Then comes the confession, repentance, and most important of all, forgiveness. Everything is released. Nothing must remain tied. Ho'oponopono breaks bad memories and negative and harmful situations both for the person and for their family nucleus. In this way, all physical signs of an illness can be eliminated.

As it was said a while ago, repeating words can reach our unconscious, whether written or spoken. For words to emerge, they are first thought by us, and even if not said and written, if too repeated, they already form a thought pattern. So, it is with emotions. They arise after an idea has been created in mind, either in the moment or already an established neural pattern. This is important to show us the following: it all starts in thought. When the Kahunas families came together to solve a child's problem, they knew that child had been the most sensitive. They believed that the child could have been a victim of the result of the whole family's thoughts. So, they practiced Ho'Oponopono always. Even without a recent or recurring problem, they saw it as a spiritual bath. A bath that took care of the mind, thoughts, which took care of the spirit. Consequently, it will take care of the emotions and the body in material life, promoting the Integral Being. Ho'oponopono Meditations To practice Ho'oponopono meditation is to achieve inner peace through meditation to achieve forgiveness. It is considered one of the most powerful healing methods out there. The repetition of the words in meditation allows the love that is professed to be perceived through the subconscious. All the emotions that prevent the energy from flowing are found. OMTimes.com
Many of these blockages are what end up causing disease and illness. Whenever a compromising situation arises, and forces are weakening, you can say a phrase of forgiveness, not for the environment but for yourself. I'm sorry, forgive me, thank you, I love you I'm sorry, forgive me, thank you, I love you I'm sorry, forgive me, thank you, I love you
Meditation to balance the chakras recommends sitting on the floor in a lotus flower position, with a straight spine, eyes closed. The important thing is to visualize what you want, specifically with a color and a clockwise direction. A Mantra could be: Lamam RAM Yum Hum Sham Om Finally, after being silent for a moment, it is resumed with the following prayer, repeated three times. Om sumukhaya namaha X 3 ॐसुमुखाय नमः Om Sumukhaya Namah This mantra has a lot of meaning, but to make it simple, it means you will always be lovely in the soul, in spirit, in the face, everything.
By meditating on this mantra, very pleasing manners and Beauty come onto you. Along with that comes peace. Also, Beauty always will dance in your eyes, and the words you speak are all filled with that power of love. These Ho'oponopono affirmations must be done daily to unblock the energy chakras. All are activators to show that what is desired is close to being achieved. They should always be positive and motivating. Ideally, physical wellbeing and awareness of the signs could be talking about possible imbalances to attend to. It would indicate that there is an emotional situation that is being transferred to the physical plane. DISCOVER HOW TO REACH YOUR INNER PEACEHO'OPONOPONO MEDITATION Being a meditation that promotes forgiveness and the opening of the energies of the chakras. The Ho'oponopono energy allows you to achieve inner peace. OMTIMES.COM
This ancient art strives to seek reconciliation. Hawaiians are said to have practiced it for several decades. This Spiritual practice also relates to the healing teachings in Samoa, Tahiti, and New Zealand. The most literal translation of Ho'oponopono is mental hygiene. To achieve this ideal state, prayer, and confession, repentance, and, finally, forgiveness are necessary. The word ho'o means goodness, morality, well-being, virtuous, correct. For its part, Ponopono expresses, correct, adjust, order. The spirit of Ho'oponopono indicates that diseases are caused by the breaking or transgression of spiritual laws. To overcome this state, the situation that originated must be corrected and overcome. PRAYERS FOR FORGIVENESS HO'OPONOPONO TO RELIEVE ANY PHYSICAL PAIN Divine Creator, Father, Mother, Son in One if I, my family, relatives, and ancestors offended you, your family, relatives or ancestors in thoughts, words, deeds and actions from the beginning of Creation to the present ask you sorry. Let this cleanse, purify, release. Cut off all negative memories, blockages, energies, and vibrations and transmute those unwanted energies into Pure Light ... Thank you that this has been done ... Divinity clean in me everything that contributes to my physical discomfort. I'm sorry, forgive me, thank you, I love you. I'm sorry, forgive me, thank you, I love you. I'm sorry, forgive me, thank you, I love you. OMTimes.com
Divinity cleanse in me everything that contributes to my limitations. I'm sorry, forgive me, thank you, I love you. I'm sorry, forgive me, thank you, I love you. I'm sorry, forgive me, thank you, I love you. Finally, the phrase Thank you because I know I am better than yesterday can be added. FOR THE INNER PURIFICATION I declare myself at peace with all the people, and with whom I have debts: I'm sorry, Forgive me, Thank you, I love you! I release all those from whom I believed I received damage and abuse. Because I know they are merely giving me back what I did to them before, in another life, in another time. I'm sorry, forgive me, thank you, I love you! Although it is difficult for me to forgive someone, I am the one who asks that someone for forgiveness now for that moment in their time: Sorry, Forgive me, Thank you, I love you! I do not feel comfortable in this sacred space that I inhabit every day: Sorry, Forgive me, Thank you, I love you! For that problematic relationship from which I have only bad memories: Sorry, Forgive me, Thank you, I love you!

DISCOVERING THE PATH TO INNATE DIVINITY
BY MARK JOHNSON
Have any of you, divine people actually experienced your innate divinity yet? If not, have any of you wondered why it hasn't happened?
OMTIMES
MAY 2021
Well, it's because most people think they are just a tiny wave in the ocean. They spend most of their time trying to get wetter than the other waves while trying to keep the larger waves from annihilating them! The truth is you are the totality of the ocean...and you are also expressing as the wave at the same time.
Some are curious to know how we get to know our divine nature. The answer is you don't have to get to know it because you already ARE IT! All you have to do is to learn how to breathe deep into your belly. Until the incredible energies of your body and your aura will blow out your sabotaging subconscious.
The rest of the people live like they are in Plato's dark cave, never knowing anything but darkness and shadows. Because of that, they never see the real world with blue skies and the rising sun. Most of us are so used to hearing we are sinful people who will go to Hell for eternity if we don't play by very strict rules. That nonsense held back our evolution for over 3,000 years!
That cleansing is no picnic. First comes rage around one hour of doing it nonstop. Then, after the rage subsides, outcomes sadness and a lot of crying. After that comes the fear that created the whole life-long mess. If all that is integrated for the first time in one's life, many people have expansion, inclusion, and euphoria experiences. There is often a sense of awe and oneness with everything.
Besides learning how to breathe all the time deeply, you may also understand the power of the sound HA. It is the energetic frequency that resides in the heart area. It is always amazing how many people cannot make that sound for any length of time. So, if you are one of them, practice it until you can laugh frequently all day long. After the subconscious is integrated, it is time to integrate your nine Chakras. The Daoists/Taoists have nine of them, whereas the Hindus have seven. The uppermost one is the crown Chakra. The second one is in the forehead, just above the eyes. The third one is at the base of the nose. The fourth one is just below the throat behind the bones. The fifth one is the heart center, and the sixth one is just above the navel. The navel is the seventh Chakra. The eighth is about a hand's width below the navel, and the last one is at the perineum.
Matter doesn't matter much – energy matters, and all matter IS energy! So, the minute you integrate every aspect of your being, which includes your highfrequency aura surrounding your body and extends to the edge of the universe. When that happens, your life becomes the totality of everything, and the synchronicities become a daily occurrence. At that point in your evolution, all you will have to do is to be quiet and allow the flow of everything to pass through you. You will live compassionately, intuitively, spontaneously, and miracles will happen! Mark Johnson is the author of the book "Life As Play: Live Compassionately, Intuitively, Spontaneously, and Miracles Will Happen!," which chronicles his sixty-year spiritual odyssey with some of the most fascinating spiritual teachers of the last half-century. Few Westerners have training in the multitude of Chinese disciplines as Mark, which he teaches throughout North America. "Life as Play" is available for purchase at Amazon, with an audiobook coming soon to Audible.
Those three sets of 3 each are to be integrated daily by holding the left palm over the right palm. As the hands slide down from the top of your head to the perineum, you visualize them connecting to each other. Then you reverse direction and raise both palms as you touch each Chakra from the bottom up. When they all synchronize with each other, along come the synchronicities and play into your life.

How Social Media is Shaping our Reality BY ALBERTO ADLER
Mass Social media today includes a massive list of players. It ranges from communication vehicles from the analog era to streaming players, social networks, and games. Before, the term "Mass Media" applied only to channels that simultaneously reached many people, a considerable public- "the mass."
Evolution of Communication and Algorithms With the evolution of the communication channels, I believe that the term simultaneity can, and should, be set aside. We must consider the number of people affected by each of these means (and their respective vehicles) and how this replication of world perceptions impacts them. Hence, I include streaming and games, for example, in this commentary article.
OMTIMES MAGAZINE
MAY 2021
The first instance of the social media impact on our perception is creating a bubble of the channels through which we inform ourselves. The newspapers, news channels, and interactions on social networks all tend to give feedback to our ideological perception of the world. However, even within this already restricted universe, algorithms tend to limit us even more. Concerning news channels, for instance, the algorithms seek to feed us news from the city and/or region where we live. The algorithms also aim to show us the subjects that most interest us. In the configuration of some news channels such as Flipboard or Edge, they ask us, in the configuration process, to select the topics we desire to see. In others, the algorithm learns according to our traffic history. This selection can lead us to look only at the same subjects always. If you don't search a lot about culture news, or if you didn't select this topic when installing the news app, you will be simply no longer able to receive cultural programming. Things such as releases, reviews will not be part of your bubble, to the point of making yourself alienated when referring to cultural issues. And this can happen concerning any areas of interest, not only with arts and culture. The question of social networks also comes into play.
First, there is the issue of "bubbles" in which the algorithm tends to show us the posts of those friends with whom we interact the most, making this flow viciously repeat itself. But there are also link cookies that we click on. So, suppose you looked at a story on a particular site. In that case, publications from that site will continue to appear on your timeline as bait for new accesses. As you repeat access to this site, the trend is that their (the site's) worldview will become part of your repertoire. Due to the differences in each platform's objectives or channel, this same situation is repeated with streaming channels. The set of choices of movies and series that appears to you will be quite different from the ones that would show up to your spouse or to your child. And it is based much more on what you watched than what you liked or disliked. So, if you watch some films of a particular genre, the algorithm will try to push you more movies and series of that genre to the detriment of other genres.
Limiting our Spectrum and Reach Whoever watches more action and science fiction films and series will receive more and more suggestions and notifications of these genres. If you never search for titles of other genres, over time, categories like romantic movies or children's movies (just as hypothetical examples) will disappear entirely from your menu. With games, one of the great examples I find to exemplify this influence on world perception is the influence of sports games, such as FIFA, in the formation of children's world perception. As these games work on the player's fantasy, it is natural that the teams that appear are the big ones in Europe Barcelona, Bayern Munich, Juventus, etc. So, children who play these games in their local states tend to cheer for teams outside of their everyday reality. They will idolize players who, probably, will never see play in person, like Messi or Cristiano Ronaldo.

This trivial principle tends to weaken the local culture's traces (such as rivalry between local teams). In the medium / long term, we note that making the business environment related to sports is less and less relevant. Since there will be smaller publics for sports and local games, fewer sales of team shirts, less advertising in stadiums, fewer transmissions from local games. All that means less money circulating and fewer jobs generated. This hurts local communities. The same pattern of selection/exclusion is reflected in other types of sports and with different themes than sports.

The interconnectiveness among all human beings and, consequently, the relationships among us are the focus of this section. The dynamics of the web of connections we make is one of the most prominent aspects of human existence: how we interlace with each other’s existence in a meaningful way.

Our Indigenous children are our sacred seed. The Act of taking Native American Indian children away from their families is still happening across the United States and Canada. The action results in thousands of children experiencing "soul pain" through grief, disempowerment, and spiritual disconnection. What most people believed was over, with the boarding schools, is still affecting generations of children. According to national reports, nearly 700 Native American children in South Dakota alone are being removed from their homes every year, sometimes in questionable and suspicious circumstances.

Government programs remove children from reservations and place them in white foster homes. In these homes, our indigenous children experience a long list of abuses, including sexual violence, physical abandonment, and mental trauma.
The crisis in Saskatoon, Canada, foster homes include overcrowding. Some families try to care for as many as 15 Native children and youth at the same time. There are reports of children being beaten and "crawling around with lice." "Taking children away from the families is the most traumatic thing you can do to a child, to a family, and to a people," said Pura Fé, a Native American singer-songwriter, musician, and activist who lives in Saskatoon. "They come in and just take the children."
MAY 2021
After splitting up families and separating siblings, officials move the native children to a nebulous family, erasing the child's records. When foster money runs out, or the foster families no longer want the children, officials move the children from foster home to foster home. If children manage to run away and officials find them, they send the children back into the broken fostercare circle. Foster Care or Boarding Schools, Just Different Words It is profoundly disturbing that many foster care programs have become residential schools like the original federally funded, off-reservation, Indian boarding schools of centuries past. The original boarding school operated in Carlisle, Penn. from 1879 – 1918, using former military barracks and militarystyle uniforms to imprison and assimilate little Native children.
In many cases, the U.S. Bureau of Indian Affairs (BIA) paid the states to remove Indian children and place them with nonIndian families and religious groups. In August 2017, 17 members of the Northern Aprapaho tribe, including tribal elders and young people, traveled to Carlisle to collect and return bodies thought to be the remains of 15-year-old Little Chief, also known as Dickens Nor, and 14-yearold Horse also called Horace Washington. Officials attempted to "Americanize" the children by cutting the children's long hair, changed their names to European names, and held them until they assimilated, ran away, or died. The officials' idea was to "Kill the Indian: Save the Man" through any means necessary. The 19th and 20th century Carlisle boarding school became the model school for 26 BIA boarding schools, within 15 states and territories, in addition to hundreds of private boarding schools sponsored by religious denominations. It is estimated that more than 10,000 Native American children from 140 different tribes forcibly attended Carlisle alone.
Why is this still happening? It is a combination of reasons, including Cultural In-Sensitivity and a Culture of Non-Compliance with Policy. What officials continue to fail to realize are the cultural differences. What is in the best interest of a non-Indian child is not necessarily what was in an Indian child's best interest. Indigenous families are traditionally larger with extended families and tribal relationships.
U.S. federal law says that, with some exceptions, if the state removes a Native American child, the state must place that child with relatives, tribal members, or other Native Americans. But that is not happening. In the United States, the Indian Child Welfare Act of 1978 is U.S. Federal law that governs jurisdiction over removing Native American Indian children from their families. Investigations are unhurriedly uncovering disturbing examples where social services fail to comply with their own policies and practices, and government officials routinely break their own rules. Who Feels Lead to Protect and Advocate for These Indigenous Children? We need healing humanity-type organizations, people, music, and arts to help. To help with the healing. To help find answers. Pura Fé, an American Native singer-songwriter, musician, composer, seamstress, teacher, and activist, feels the call to help with a big heart. Pura Fé's force is magnified by teaming up with organizations like Green Arrow Healing and White Lightening Consulting. Green Arrow works in partnership with White Lightning Consulting to offer local, effective healing opportunities in northern Saskatchewan, Canada. Green Arrow Healing specializes in holistic, culturally-sensitive health care. Pura Fé is also the founding member of the Native American women's acappella quartet, Ulali Project.
Ulali Project. The ladies' "Sacred Seed" album features original compositions written in English, Tuscarora, and Tutelo. Pura Fé writes music about residentialschool and foster-care survivors. "Sacred seed, DNA, the memory of all time," sings Pura Fé in the Sacred Seed album. "Within every seed is a universe." Ulali's progressive folk and blues tones invoke our ancestors and are part of a vocal masterpiece. The Ulali Project quartet is currently made up of Ulali founders Pura Fe' and Jennifer Kreisberg, and new additions Charly Lowry and Layla Locklear. These individuals aim their initiatives at healing and educating these children and families. More help is needed. Our Native children carry our sacred seed, carrying our DNA and the memory of all time. If we lose our children, we lose our future. PERSONAL MEMOIRS AS A SCRIBE OF YOUR SOUL ABOUT MEMOIRS AND HOW TO YOUR LIFE AS A STORY
Do you want to write a memoir? This is how Contemporary writers as Memory Scribes are bringing the past back to life in a very personal and unique way.
MAY 2021
Make a Book With the Story of Your Life. Since the most remote times, the nobility used scribes to document their lives, register events, and record popular culture. Over the years, some of these "scribes" began to act as private secretaries, lending their writing skills and serving influential personalities. Such encounters gave rise to memoir and biographies that have survived the centuries. Today, thanks to the progress of digital printing, anyone can publish a book to tell the story of their life, rites of passage, or express their opinions. Each Memory Story is Unique Everyone has a story to share. Inside of each of us lives a storyteller full of curious narratives for all occasions. But many times, we are silent, keeping our experiences bottled up out of shyness or because we may think that others are not interested in what we may have to say. " The Memory is the scribe of the soul." Aristotle
We are at Service of your Memories. Memory Scribes are people who have chosen to help you write your memories, ideas, or testimonies. Based on your life story, your book adviser will be your concierge "personal" memoirist. This will allow you to produce the narratives that gradually will become your book.
To offer you solid professional guarantees and human inspiration forged in the best combination of knowledge, we have chosen to organize ourselves in an international network of ghostwriters. In this context, open to individuals and rich in diversity, we have instituted and developed a standard training ground method.
iSpirit is also dedicated to what you stand for.
This exchange resulted in a forum for socializing among fellow writers. Despite the overwhelming distance between our addresses, we cultivate a collective and supportive spirit. In addition to the progress of methods, we nurture our common interests with other sensitivities.
By carefully retrieving the story told by you and re-enacting your favorite expressions, we strive to make your loved ones say, as you read these pages: "This the book you have written!"
Our professionalism is not an exercise in style: writing a memoir consists of merging us, both discretely and skillfully, in a tone that is unique to you.
We like that our cultural background is distinct because it is through differences that curiosity towards others is fueled! When it is possible to abolish borders, using a common language makes everything easier to solve. According to each country's sensitivity, we carry out this demanding but fascinating activity independently, under our own responsibility. Our ethics seal these commitments. In the pages, we produce for you just like a family story writer.
