The success of the Porsche Taycan has been half surprising. While on the one hand, being a Porsche, no one doubted that it would be an extraordinary vehicle – which it is –, but on the other hand, the current global situation is by no means the most favourable for 99% of the world's companies.
The Taycan, whose success was almost a certainty, had to face an unforeseen obstacle and prove once again that it was the right car at the right time for Porsche. The press loved the German brand's first electric vehicle and customers even more so, adapting their lives where necessary to drive one in their everyday life. The next natural step for the German leaders has now arrived in the form of the Taycan Cross Turismo, a kind of shooting brake that follows a stylistic direction initiated by the Panamera Sport Turismo and which almost seems like an organic evolution of the Taycan sedan in terms of shape and proportions.
