Worthy Grand Knights,
Saint Joseph - Our Spiritual Father Traveling Icon 2021-2023
Every few years, the Knights of Columbus selects an icon of a saint whose patronage is particularly inspiring to Knights and their communities. Ohio has received 4 of these icons which will travel from council to council and serve as the centerpieces for prayer services in parishes throughout the Order.
The Pilgrim Icon Program is an effort to spread devotion to St. Joseph and pray for the courage to stand up and carry out our mission of protecting, defending, and raising future generations. The prayer service, flowing from the Year of St. Joseph declared by Pope Francis in 2021, and inspired by his apostolic letter Patris Corde, and is sponsored by Knights of Columbus.
For more information regarding the Faith activity, you can visit the Supreme website at: https://www.kofc.org/en/what-we-do/faith-in-action-programs/faith/pilgrim-icon.html

Brother Knights in The Archdiocese of Cincinnati. Happy Easter to You and Your Families.
We are now in the 4th Quarter of the Fraternal Year. Three months to go to increase membership in the Archdiocese. As of April 1, 2022 the Arch is standing at about 51% of our Goal of 426 New Members.
Our March Madness Membership Blitz fell a tad short of what was expected. So, with that being said, we can continue to have Membership Church Drives throughout the Month of April. The men that are waiting to be asked are the ones that are in the RCIA classes. Come Holy Saturday-Easter these men will become Catholics and soon to be Knights if you ask them. Ask these New Catholic Men to join our Order.
By asking the RCIA candidates to join, the April Incentives are as follows:
The First 4 Councils that Recruit an RCIA candidate, will receive $40.00 for Each candidate
The First 4 Proposers who recruit a New Member will receive $40.00 for each new member
The First 4 District Deputies who show a net gain of 8 new members in their District for April will receive $100.00
And not to be left out, the Insurance Field Agent who recruits the most members in April will receive $200.00
In order to claim the membership incentives email to mcfreil2019@gmail.com the name(s) of the new member as soon as possible The first 4 who send the information will receive the incentive.
Keep Asking Men in your Parishes to Join our Order. If You Don’t Ask them to Join…they will not.
Additionally, McGivney2020 is still valid for free membership until 6/30/22
Have a Happy and Blessed Easter !!

Dear Brothers,

Fraternal Benefits
My team and I often find that people can get confused with all of the rules and regulations that govern our financial lives.
What can we do? When can we do it? How much is too much? When is too soon? What’s taxed? What’s not?
Those questions become even more important and even more complicated when you’re working through your retirement plan. That’s when the stakes are at their highest.
Everyone’s situation is different and warrants the attention of their own tax, legal or accounting professional. But there are some recognized experts in the field who can impart valuable general wisdom. I want to invite you to hear from one of those experts.
Our agency is helping host a special live webinar “Retirement Planning In A Changing Landscape” featuring America’s IRA Expert Ed Slott. Ed is a nationally recognized speaker, television personality and best-selling author known for his unparalleled ability to turn advanced tax strategies into understandable, actionable, and entertaining advice. He combines current research, in-depth expertise, and humor to teach guests about the ins and outs of their retirements and provides insight to the latest tax and planning information. Whether you’re currently retired or want to make sure you’re prepared to retire when you want to, you won’t want to miss this special event.
We are hosting two, free webinars in your area. We only have a limited number of virtual seats available, so please sign up for one of the two events as soon as you can. The first session will be on May 24th at 7:30PM EDT and the second will be on June 14th at 7:30 EDT. You can use the registration links below to save your space. If these or other related matters need attention before the events, my team and I are available to continue the conversation on a personal basis at: https://calendly.com/kofcohio/conversation Since our founding, the Knights has been committed to helping provide financial security and stability to our members and their families. So, we’re proud and excited to bring Ed’s expertise to you. And we can’t wait to see you there!
Fraternally,
Jason Staas, General Agent for Western Ohio
