1. Introduction 2. What is gender violence? The term "gender violence" reflects the idea that violence often serves to maintain structural gender inequalities, and includes all types of violence against men, women, children, adolescents, gay, transgender people and gender non conforming. This type of violence in some way influences or is influenced by gender relations. To adequately address this violence, we have to address cultural issues that encourage violence as part of masculinity.
3. Types of gender violence 4. “Silence of good people” I’m going to talk about from the point of view of the people that see this type of violence. I think gender violence is something horrible, that we should avoid. People who see it, or know that there is gender violence between individuals should act. For example, if one day you see a couple in the street that is fighting, you should go and separate them, or at least you should talk to the victim to convince her that she has to report her partner. Because if you say nothing, the aggressor can do much harm to the victim, a harm that you could have avoided.
