1. Introduction We are going to talk about sustainability in Fene, this is a project in the english subject. We worked in different aspects (individual project and group project) and using differents things to help ourselves, as to use the conclusions of a pecha-kucha, organized with the politicians in our high school, we visited the sustainable community organized with and for the people ASPANEPS.

2. Sustainability Sustainability is the only movement to make a great future and resources for the next generations and the happiness of the society and we means, the sustainability is a balance of the people with the resources of the place where we live.

Each one in our group do anything for sustainability, like:

JosĂŠ: I recycle to the maximum I can, use different containers, reuse elements like plastics pan and use the solar hours to illuminate my house

David: Many times I walk or im use the public transport to go at some places because that reduce the contamination of the air.

Nahuel: Recycling the plastics, the organic waste, plant any plants and try to use more the Public Transport than the car.

PECHA-KUCHA

In the pecha-kucha we got these conclusions from the information of the different political parties (PSdeG-PSOE, EU, BNG, CxG, PP):

PSdeG-PSOE Antón Noceda talked about, the cost of

transforming Fene in a

sustainable local government and he gave us a lot of data.

EU Mª Carmen told us enough of concrete proposes like to promote the green espaces, the “climate change” education and concienciation and she explained

what they are willing to do to transform Fene in a

sustainable village.

BNG Joám Ferreiro talked about the responsibility of adolescents to change the future, but he did not say anything about their concrete proposals.

CxG Xoan Bastida explained a lot of proposals of different associations like the ONU and there 17 goals for a sustainable future but he didn't said "What they will do in Fene", "How can they get all their proposals if they don't have the resources. PP Gumersindo agreed with the, the others Political parties’ proposals and he also told us that they will create a brown container for the organic waste and they will try to get “a clean Fene”

He also mentioned “PACES”, the pact among the mayors of Europe.

3. Problem We looked our city and we found some problems like the little number of green spaces, too much homes without renewable energies, a bad use of the Public Transport, but we choose this one:

RENEWABLE ENERGIES IN FENE

In Fene there are not enough renewable energies. These energies are the key for the future, because not to contaminate the planet and the environment like the energies that use today. But in Fene these energies are not being used, and it's possible to create different forms to generate it. These energies can be created using the sun, wind or tide. The sun can be used to supply public buildings, like the local government, traffic signs, sportscenters… And in the sunniest days of the year it can accumulate more energy. The tides are a very important tool, in a site like this there is the possibility to use it , because the movement of the water is continuous. A windmill is the most simple form of renewable energies. In the highest points of the village they can be built.

4. Conclusion The objective of this project is to concienciate students about sustainability, the sustainable development, how to make a sustainable city and what advantages it has. We could talk with the politicians about sustainability. We think the objectives of the project are complete because the students learned what we need to follow the examples of sustainable cities.
