1.Introduction. I’m going to talk about a reference for me, my mum. She is María del Carmen but all the people call her Mamen. She studied administrative but she works to help old people in their house.
2. Description. 2.1. Physical description. My mum was born on 30 september 1971. She is 43 years old. She is short, she is 1’60 tall. She is presentable. She has got green brown eyes,depending on the light. Her hair is long, curly and brown. Mamen has got a small nose and small ears. She usually wears earrings. She has got thin lips that she makes up when she goes out. She has got oval face. My mother isn't pale but she isn’t bronze either. My mum works everyday except the weekend but on summer she usually works on saturdays. So that’s why my mother wears a sweat or jacket; depending on the day; a tshirt, leggings and trainers. When she goes out she wears a jersey, jeans and boots.
2.2. Personality description. Mamen is a lively and serious person because when she is angry she is very serious but then she is lively and happy. She is nice because she always helps people. She is clever because when she was young she got good marks and because she makes a lot of handicrafts. She is a little chatterbox because when she meets with friends she speaks a lot. She has got a lot of character.

2.3. Hobbies. My mum, in her free time, dance ballroom dance and salsa with my father. My mum began to dance 5 years ago, but with my father began to dance 4 years ago. They compete in a lot of ballroom dance competitions. This year my mum began to dance zumba. She makes a lot of handicrafts as “fofuchas”, scarves and handbags too . In the past years she went trekking with her friends or alone. She liked going to trekking because she met a lot of people and she saw a lot of beautiful landscapes. When she is bored, she sometimes paints because she is very good at painting. She has done crossstitch since she was little.

3. Conclusion. In this project I learned that although my mum and I sometimes argue (a lot of times) and we are angry. I think that she is a very important person for me and I love her. People’s opinion is that when they meet her, they think that she is a serious person but then they think that she is very lively. 5
