1. Introduction In this project we are going to analyse the poem that we chose (“If you forget me), and others that we created (Haikus, Calligrams.. ). The objective of this project is to encourage our creativity and our poem read.

2. Author’s biography The author of our poem is Pablo Neruda, he was born in Chile in 1904. He won many awards, for example the Nobel Award of Literature, he is considered one of the most important authors of his century. He lived some war periods, and when the Spanish Civil War started he got involved with the republican ideology.
3. Poems a. Poem Analyse We chose this poem because in the first time we thought it was very beautiful and we liked the way the author expresses his emotions. This is a poem about heartbreak, it transmits us sadness because the author is talking about a woman who he misses. She could be his ex-girlfriend.

If You Forget Me by Pablo Neruda I want you to know one thing.
the wind of banners that passes through my life,
You know how this is:
and you decide
if I look at the crystal moon,
to leave me at the shore
at the red branch
of the heart where I have roots,
of the slow autumn at my window,
remember
if I touch
that on that day,
near the fire
at that hour,
the impalpable ash
I shall lift my arms
or the wrinkled body of the log,
and my roots will set off
everything carries me to you,
to seek another land.
as if everything that exists, aromas, light, metals,
But
were little boats
if each day,
that sail toward those isles of yours that wait
each hour,
for
you feel that you are destined for me
me.
with implacable sweetness, if each day a flower
Well, now,
climbs up to your lips to seek me,
if little by little you stop loving me
ah my love, ah my own,
I shall stop loving you little by little.
in me all that fire is repeated,
If suddenly you forget me
in me nothing is extinguished or
do not look for me,
forgotten,
for I shall already have forgotten you.
my love feeds on your love, beloved,
If you think it long and mad,
arms
and as long as you live it will be in your without leaving mine

(.) In the first paragraph he says that everything reminds him of her, as we can see when the author says “everything carries me to you” (the impalpable ash, aromas, light…).
(.)In the next paragraph he says that if she stops loving him he will do it too. The next paragraph expresses the same idea, but it adds that if she forgets him he will do it too and he will “seek another land’’. This is a metaphor that wants to express that he will search another love. With “land” he refers to a woman that he will conquer to start a new relationship.
(.)Finally, the author says that if she changes her mind and she decides to give him another chance and love him again, he will love her again.

3. Conclusion
We liked this project but we didn't love it because we think that there is little content because of the time, we liked more other types of projects (for example the last one) because you have more to work with.
