INTRODUCTION.
Poem‌ Google defines it as a piece of writing in which the expression of feelings and ideas is given intensity by particular attention to diction, attention to diction (sometimes involving rhyme), rhythm, and imagery. We have written some acrostics, haikus and a calligram. And we are going to talk about them and analyze one more chosen among all the members of the group.

THE ILLUSTRATED POEMS WRITTEN BY THE STUDENTS. 2.1 Julieta’s Acrostic: Always, you are my second daddy Never, you are far from me Today, you are not in my hands Only your memories in my mind Nothing is more beautiful than your wrinkled smile I miss you every day Ohh… happy birthday “daddy”.
Haiku: Sun shining, dazzling The delightful summer breeze Is gracing my skin
2.2. Naila’s Acrostic: Sadly, people criticize Other people insult your Culture, religion, tastes.. Imagining different is impossible Each day to put up with the pain To be trapped in your thoughts Your opinions have no value.
Haiku: The boy whom I love His face is too beautiful Big loving kisses.
2.3. Raul’s: Acrostic: Fireworks fizzing In the air Randomly colourful Everybody, LOOK!
Haiku: STOVEPIPE HAT -We are all mad here.But..All the best people are! ’Lice in wonderland.
3. THE ILLUSTRATED POEM SELECTED WITH THE STUDENT'S PERSONAL RESPONSE. 3.1. Individual analysis: There is another sky by Emily Dickinson There is another sky, ever serene and fair, and there is another sunshine, though it be darkness there; never mind faded forests, Austin, never mind silent fields here is a little forest, whose leaf is ever green; here is a brighter garden, where not a frost has been; in its unfading flowers I hear the bright bee hum: Prithee, my brother, into my garden come!
3.1.1. Naila: I like the poem because it seems pretty to me. I think the poem is about the family and the place where you were born and about missing a place. I also believe that in the last stanza there is a sexual hint, because the words she use seem metaphoric. Besides, after read it I think there is a memory in the last stanza also
3.1.2. Julieta: I chose this poem because, I like nature and I love poems who describe a landscape. I think that its author, the author of this poem, expresses the most beautiful details of nature. I think that he talks about the hope for something better. She expresses this feeling at the beginning: (verse 5) “never mind silent fields”, (verse 6) “never mind faded forest”. When she says that there is another sky, another sunshine and another forest; she says that there is hope. She also talks about a metaphorical garden, with which she can refer to peace in her life. In this garden, she says that there is always bright.
3.1.3. Raul: The first time I had a look to the poem I found it interesting. I understood “there is another sky” as “there is another way”, “there is another opinion” On the second try I read it quickly and I didn’t get anything, so I tried it again slowly and the result was the same. After that, I didn’t lose interest in it. Ok, maybe a little, but , this, far from being a bad thing, makes it more interesting. I thought in some symbolism , the word forest appears twice, faded forests.. falls? Autumn, Austin.. not so different, perhaps it is a personification. As this didn’t take me anywhere I got a little frustrated but I remembered that other poems required some complicity with the author . Then I investigated Emily Dickinson; her life, family, house, career, lovers… And though all the poems were published after her death, because that, and cause she wrote them secretly, they don’t follow a chronological order (which made this all more difficult), now it all started to make a vague sense to me. Austin was her brother and he brought her back home when she got ill from the Mount Holyoke Seminary to ladies. I have read the poem sometimes more and I reckon it is about this: We can identify the first world of the poem like the seminary and the darkness which is this first world, and the other forest “the little forest” is home, where Austin is going to take her.
I also want to point that I said there are two worlds (besides the real one which is not named in the poem) cause she uses there and here referring to two different places. Lastly, I see the author’s voice in the three last verses, she is identifying herself on a bee and she is talking to her brother.
3.2. Group analysis: There is another sky by Emily Dickinson There is another sky, ever serene and fair, and there is another sunshine, though it be darkness there; never mind faded forests, Austin, never mind silent fields here is a little forest, whose leaf is ever green; here is a brighter garden, where not a frost has been; in its unfading flowers I hear the bright bee hum: Prithee, my brother, into my garden come!
We all agree with dividing the poem in three parts for the theme. There are three stanzas whose divisions coincide with a semicolon. Julieta and Raúl see two different worlds between the first and the second stanza. We think the author isn’t ok in the first one, we are based on the darkness that she talks about; and that she is getting better or that she is already better in the second world “a brighter garden”. In the last stanza Naila sees a sexual hint, Raul and Julieta a personification of the author himself. Then Naila knew that Austin was the author’s brother and she agreed with the rest. A short biography of Dickinson: Massachusetts (1830-1886), Emily belongs to a recognised and wealthy family so she could dedicate himself to study. She could even do high studies in the Mount Holyoke Seminary, where she got ill and stopped studying .
5. CONCLUSION. Naila: I like this project because I like poems and this seems very nice to me but it was difficult to analyze it because in the last verse I always had saw the same opinion. After knowing what my companions thought ABOUT THIS POEM and reading IT many times I got another IDEA Julieta: I like this project because poetry is an interesting topic to make a project about. I liked to write the acrostic, the haiku and the others activities that we have done. Raúl: I can say I like poetry. Maybe for that it was easy for me to analyze the poems or write someone . So, I reckon I liked this part. However, it was a different project. I had to implicate myself with it and I didn’t like that. I’m not sure why; though I love being creative, I dislike this part. It’s contradicting.
