EL ASESINATO DE LA PROFESORA DE LENGUA. 1. Author’s biography: Jordi Sierra i Fabra was born in Barcelona, on 26 of july of 1947. He Is a spanish author.In the last 25 years he wrote children’s literature. Also he studied rock music 60’s yearhe also studied rock music during 60s. He founded some magazines. 2. Illustrator’s biography: Pablo Núñez was born in Madrid in 1963.He graduated in beaux arts. Now he works in the Departamento de Diseño de la Editorial S.M . He draws in the newspaper “ El País”. 3. Summary: When the SOS, Soledad Olmedo Sánchez, the Spanish language teacher came into the class, she seemed angry. She was fed up that they didn’t read. The next day, the children looked for the teacher. She stayed in the teachers’ room. They talked to her. Then the headmaster gave them a letter. The letter was from SOS. In the letter they could read that the teacher was crazy and that she would kill one of the students but if they discovered the teacher she wouldn’t kill anyone... 3.1. The plot: “ El asesinato de la profesora de lengua” is about 3 students and a Spanish language teacher. She gives them a letter. They must fund 8 clues so that she doesn’t kill them. 3.2. The setting: The story happens in a modern city. 3.3. The character: The main character: 2
Protagonist: Ana is an intelligent girl because she discovers the clues and in fact, she is the most intelligent girl in the class. Gaspar is aggressive. He is a bad student with bad grade but he discovers the clues. Tasio is aggressive. He is a bad student with bad grade but he discovers the clues. Antagonist: S.O.S(Soledad Olmedo Sánchez) is very intelligent because she …...planned everything to demonstrate that they were very intelligent. Secondary character: Sonia Romero, Pedro Cerezo and Fernando Cuevas helped Tasio, Ana, Gaspar to discover the clues. The headmaster helped the teacher with the letter and the clues. 3.4. Conclusion: The conclusion is that the students are very intelligent although they didn’t demonstrate it. 4. I really liked this book’s theme because it’s a very interesting mystery story 3
6. List of sentences and quotes. Abecegrama: cada palabra empieza por una letra distinta del abecedario. Bifronte: si se lee por los dos lados pero el significado. Palíndromo: si se lee por los dos lados y dice lo mismo. Pantagrama: es una frase en la que están todas las letras del abecedario. My favourite paragraph -Eso es lo que da leer- aprovechó para decir la señorita Soledad:Fuerza, convicción y carácter, seguridad en uno mismo. pg: 159. I chose this paragraph, because I think that it is true.
