Plantation Farmers’ Market

There is something for everyone! Bring the kids and the pup but make sure to have masks & maintain social distancing. Fresh produce, organically grown veggies, fresh fruit, herb’s, tasty fresh breads, chocolate croissants, raw honey from local farmers, gourmet jams, fried doughnuts, pickles, cookies, coffee’s, homemade hummus, gourmet cheese, guacamole dips, plants and orchids, there’s something here for everyone. Farmers’ Market is held every Saturday from 8:00am till 2:00pm. Plantation Volunteer Park, 12050 W Sunrise Blvd.

International Orchid & Bromeliad Show

Experience the beauty and diversity of orchids and bromeliads at the 39th International Orchid and Bromeliad Show at Flamingo Gardens. Rare and ex-otic orchids and bromeliads will be on display and for sale, along with an American Orchid Society judged orchid show hosted by the Flamingo Gardens Orchid Society. Visit the accessory and craft vendors for a variety of orchid supplies and garden-related items. The outdoor event will be spaced for social distancing. Virtual Junior Maker Fest

The South Regional/Broward College Library is hosting a free, online Virtual Junior Maker Fest. Age-specific activity kits, also free, allow kids to follow along with handson maker crafts that express creativity with everyday objects. Families can pick up Maker Fest kits at the South Regional/Broward College Library, 7300 Pines Boulevard, Pembroke Pines. There are four kits available, two for younger children (3-5 years) and two for older kids (6-12 years). For younger children, there is a Windsock Craft and a Build with Cornstarch Blocks activity, 11:00 am - 3:00 pm. APR 9 Friday Night Artisan Market

Enjoy a wonderful Friday Night browsing and shopping from amazing local artists and crafters while enjoying live music. Also enjoy dinner at any of our onsite amazing eateries. Perfect kick out for the weekend! Hosted by the Weston Town Center, 1675 Market St. Festivities kick off at 6:00 pm. Social Distancing and CDC guidelines will be followed.

APR 10 Moonlight Movies in the Park

Enjoy a family fun evening at the park at the screening of a full-length feature film. Circle up! Families will be assigned a marked circle in the field. Please remain in your assigned space throughout the movie. County COVID-19 guidelines for physical distancing and use of facial coverings will be strictly enforced. Attendees may bring their own food. Concessions will not be available. Restrooms will be available. Free Admission - Limited Capacity. First-come, first-served. Arrive early to secure your spot!
