The Chef’s Table T
he Chef’s Table event is hosted annually in line with Western Downs’ Big Skies event. Held at the iconic Jimbour House, the Chef’s Table is an afternoon of gourmet dining under a canopy of trees in the Western Downs. Jimbour House is a heritage-listed homestead on one of the earliest stations on the Darling Downs. Established in 1876, the house and surrounding gardens offer an exquisite backdrop for any special event. The Chefs Table event features a celebrity chef cooking a five-course gourmet luncheon, which showcases the best of local Western Downs produce paired with delicious wines that match the flavour, character, and intensity of the local produce served up.
