Quote from Officer’s Coach Scott McGeagh
“As coach’s Colby and I are extremely proud of how the guys have come together over the season. There are a lot of new faces that joined the club in the off season, and they have injected new life into the Officer Football Club. They are a very young group that are very excited to be playing in the Grand Final this week. We have had close games with Emerald all year and this will be no different. Officer haven’t had a senior team in a G/F since 2004 so we are hoping we can get some silverware to add the trophy cabinet, 19 years is a very long time without success. ”
Quote from Emerald’s Coach Zac Rozenboom
“Even with the loss to officer in the first week of finals, our expectations are no different to where it was at the start of preseason- lifting the cup and having a good time doing it.”

“We have an incredible group of young girls who genuinely play for each other every week. Every round saw them take on a new challenge on and off court which has rewarded them in a grand final spot. The girls will come out Sunday as rehearsed as possible to tackle the game head on. I’m super proud of all four sides marking it into the grand final Sunday these things don’t just happen and it’s a real credit to the players, coaches and support personal we have. We’d love to reward all involved with some silverware come Sunday afternoon.”
Quote from Emerald’s Coach Michael Loulanting
“Looking back now & seeing the progress & achievements this team has accomplished throughout the year with all the ups & downs...As a Coach, this team are already winners in my eyes no matter what happens on Grand Final Day. Good Luck to everyone preparing for Grand Finals & may the best Team win”

“The girls have really had a solid season and to their credit an imperative maturity within the group and the challenges we’ve faced. Having multiple players play crucial roles within the squad each week they seem to be able to come together as a unit and produce some impressive netball. Sunday we will turn up prepared to take on the game as it comes and leave our stamp on season 2023.”
“The Grand final will be a great display of netball from two worthy opponents. Both sides will be coming into the grand final facing losses in last years grand finals and looking for the win. All year both teams have had competitive games with the lead changing numerous times throughout the games so the grand final will not be different. At the final whistle it will come down to the team that has the fire in the belly. We look forward to a close hit out.”

Quote from Pakenham Lion’s Coach Hayley Melsen
“It’s been such a great season with many great wins and memories made. Our girls have shone while displaying skill, class and talent on the court, it was impressive to see our individual and team progress. We have been competitive against Narre Warren throughout the season but unfortunately, we’re never able to pull together a full game performance until the semi finals where our Defensive pressure, two offers, working as units, passing options, resets, set pieces and shot percentages have all started to transfer to match play. The hard work from our training sessions is showing now and with how hard the girls have been working in their training sessions I believe they will come out competitively against Narre Warren this Sunday to hopefully take the win. I’m so proud of the team, their commitment and dedication. I can’t wait for them to go out and represent Pakenham in the Grand Final against Narre Warren”
Quote from Narre Warren’s Coach Jemma Osborne
“Narre Warren's 17 Whites are ready and raring to redeem themselves from a Semi-Final loss to Pakenham on Sunday in Healesville. The girls have worked hard, remained dedicated, and are looking to reward their efforts over the year. It will take a full team effort to get the better of a very talented Pakenham side, but I have full faith in my girls. I'm so proud of what they have achieved already this year.”
