Palatine Park District has an agreement with Salt Creek Rural Park District that permits residents to participate in fishing, boating, canoeing, kayak classes, and boat rentals at the Twin Lakes Recreation Area for the same fee paid by Salt Creek residents. To participate, residents must present their Palatine Park District key fob to the Salt Creek staff, either at Twin Lakes (1200 E. Lake Drive, Palatine) or, if registering for a class, at the Salt Creek offices, 530 S. Williams Drive. The agreement represents the Palatine Park Board’s continued commitment to inter-governmental cooperation in an effort to provide efficient and non-duplicative services.
