Three cheers for our helping hands VOLUNTEERING AUSTRALIA’S National Volunteer Week started on Monday, May 21, and ends this Sunday, May 27. We’re celebrating many volunteers in this week’s edition of Dubbo Photo News – they are often the unsung heroes of community organisations. Dundullimal Homestead – National Trust Dubbo support crew are pictured here. This tireless group has given a combined total of around 100
hours a week – for 30 years – to run the property. They guide, garden, mow, clean, cater, manage the collection, deliver the education programs and run the cafe. Thanks for all your hard work: back row, Sis Honner, Colin Keath, Lyn Campbell, middle row, Janet Couchman, Diana Browne, Pam Fennell, Betty Lorimer, Penni Brydon, and front row, Sally Anderson, Louise Martel and Jan Fletcher.
