You won’t want to miss the inspiring metal sculpture depicting the 1945 Flag Raising at Mt. Suribachi, Iwo Jima, Japan and a donated Korean War era jeep, waiting for its accompanying heavy artillery that the vets hope to receive via donation soon. The outdoor exhibit area is surrounded by an inspiring display of seven Service Flags, each representing a branch of the military service including the recently added Space Force flag. This open-air memorial is a fitting tribute to our brave Ridge veterans, but there is more to come.
