Geocaching is a high-tech, treasure-hunting game played throughout the world by adventure seekers equipped with a global positioning system (GPS). Moonlight Paddle

Come experience a full moon like never before, out on the water! We’ll paddle around until the moon starts to rise, and then sit back to enjoy the view. Registration includes kayak rental along with general and safety instructions. Facemasks must be worn at all times (may be taken off while socially distant in the kayak on the water).

Outdoor Education Come out and explore the natural wonders of Arbor Hills Nature Preserve! A Texas Master Naturalist will guide you along the way. Each month will be a different theme. Children 12 years and younger must be accompanied by an adult. Everyone attending must register. Facemasks are recommended.

The title of the course is ARCHERY. The Course Code is 35500 and it meets at OAK POINT PARK NATURE & RETREAT CENTER on SATURDAYS from 9am-10am, begins MAY 1, meets 3 times, the instructor is KIMBRELL and the fee for this course is $59.

Take an enjoyable guided evening walk through the woods at Oak Point Park & Nature Preserve led by a trained guide. Come identify native plants and wildlife habitats while learning about why it is important to protect our environment. Don’t forget your flashlight! See a different side to nature, exploring the stars and night sky! A trained guide will take you through the nature preserve while you learn about the many constellations, how to navigate at night, astronomy, and even the nocturnal animals in the area. There is walking on both concrete and unpaved trails. Registration is per family. Facemasks are recommended.

Walk along beautiful Rowlett Creek, through an old growth forest, or amble through a meadow of prairie wildflowers. The beauty and diversity of Oak Point Park & Nature Preserve will amaze you on this guided walk. Learn about the birds, plants, animals, and more, including their names, historic uses, and hidden secrets. Children 12 and younger must be accompanied by an adult. Everyone attending must register.
